They should call themselves A+ Antiques of Winfield, that’s how good they are. What an excellent find! This shop is HUGE and it’s not obvious from the outside but it has upper & lower levels as well in addition to the main floor. I’ve never been in another antique shop as well organized, well lit and as clean as this one. Quite a large variety of items, most of which were in excellent condition, ranging from tchotchkes/nic-nacs, furniture, toys, hats, kitchen items, glassware/serving pieces & other collectibles from various eras. Many sections had great displays made up as well so folks here do a fantastic job. And their prices were quite reasonable as well, especially compared to other antique & vintage shops/shows we have visited over the years. The staff was friendly and happy to answer any questions but gave us space to wander around and didn’t hover, as some people tend to do in those types of shops. We easily spent an hour and a half just looking at all the goodies and could have stayed longer if we didn’t have an appointment to get to.

I love this place! I moved to Winfield recently and found beautiful accent pieces to decorate my new house. They have a great collection of hobnail and other similar type vases. They have really good furniture and just unique things all around. You can get some great finds here, I recommend to all!

Cute little antique shop tucked away off the beaten path in Winfield, IL The shop is neatly organized though it is representing a variety of dealers’ commodities. The staff was very courteous when I visited. I have only visited twice and haven’t bought anything yet only because there wasn’t anything I «needed»(actually or emotionally ;). A lot of the items were home décor or collectible oriented and I was looking for antique furniture. I’ll visit again!

This store was clean and well-organized. Antique lovers are likely to enjoy how easy it is to view the merchandise. I visited on a weekday morning when only two or three other customers were milling about. I found it odd that not one of the three employees I came face-to-face with offered a «hello,» or even a smile. In fact, I spent a little extra time walking around, just to see if any of them would ever break down and ask if I was looking for anything in particular. I knew as I left that I would never return. I was surprised to see another reviewer refer to employees as «nice and helpful.» It’s good to know that they can be when needed. As for me, my antiquing dollars will land somewhere else.

We came across this antique shop randomly during an adventure out to Winfield to try a new restaurant, and couldn’t resist stopping in. We were so glad that we did, and it actually ended up inspiring us to do a bit more antiquing along the way home! This shop is set up with separate areas for each vendor. So, people rent out a cubby and sell their wares, giving each space a different feel(and different prices). Depending what you’re looking for, you should be able to find it in at least a few of the cubbies. The inside of the shop is pretty huge — three floors of goodies! We ended up spending over an hour inside perusing and laughing and sharing our finds. It is a great way to pass the time and the variety is outstanding! Old wood furniture, clothing, jewelry, every knick-knack you could imagine, old toys and comics, records, bottles and garden implements… you name it. Even with so many treasures, though, it is set up in such a way that makes it easy to navigate and nothing is too overly-crowded or cluttered. If you love antiquing, you should definitely stop in here — but make sure that you go when you have plenty of time to browse!

Our favorite local spot to antique! There are three floors but it’s not an overwhelming place to shop. The booth owners regularly rotate their merchandise so you can go back regularly & see new things. They have seasonal events and a once-a-month Saturday sale day. The employees(& owner!) are very nice & helpful. We really enjoy visiting Antiques of Winfield!

Chicago and its outlying areas have many great antique malls. Antiques of Winfield is worth a stop of you’re doing a circuit south of the city. I would guess there are 200 vendors here. There are 3 floors. Definitely don’t miss the basement because — unlike some places where they stuff the subpar vendors to the nether reaches — the basement has some great stuff. The variety is good here, with something for everyone: tools, advertising, dishes and domestics, books, clothes. It’s not as big or as full as the biggest super antique malls out here… but, worth a peek if you’re going to other spots in the area. On average, I found the prices very reasonable here. This isn’t a mall where they’re trying to gouge you. Nice staff as well!

This is a small but worth-a-visit antique«mall» in a commercial building in Winfield. There are multiple dealer booths on three levels, but it’s not endless. It had a bit of a sparse feel — some of the booths didn’t have a whole lot of stuff. That said, this is a good antiquing /junking spot. There is a wide variety of mostly 1920s-1970s items, a little bit of everything including the usual glassware, books, toys and a few pieces of furniture. Prices are reasonable.
