American Moving

This moving company is the most UNprofessional company I have ever dealt with. When making the appointment big things are promised including «no hidden/​extra fees», little time needed to move, «professional» movers, full service door to door, and dis-​assembly and reassembly. Do not believe anything they promise. Watch out for them. They will tell you its no problem for the move; then show up late, rush to finish the move meanwhile ding, scratch, and break your belongings then refuse to give their full name, business license information, and insurance information. And then above all demand payment in the middle of unloading your belongings, lock up the truck and refuse to unload the rest until you pay the full overpriced/​un-​approved bill including fees for «extra materials used» (even thought they have promised a flat rate including materials) and referring to calling the offices for further information regarding the company. Calling into offices is no better they refuse to give any information and promise that someone will be contacting you. STAY AWAY IF YOU CHERISH YOUR GOODS. They have a bad record and I am not the first person to deal/​receive the same type of service. After some research after the fact and seeing the old company name, which was Galaxy Moving and Storage. They were previously sued and lost their license for a similar problem with another customer. Apparently, the company is back under a new name and nothing has changed. I attached the link for their old reviews if you would like to refer to them. Be careful and there are tons of other moving companies that would appreciate and cherish your business, especially in times like these. I love supporting small businesses but this one was the worst I have ever seen. Give your money and business to someone that deserves it.
