A fantastic selection of spices, many of which I’d just resigned myself to never finding in Indiana. I bought an ounce of Black Truffle Sea Salt(it was available to sample on popcorn and is a-mazing) for somethin like $ 5.50 The tea selection is also great. Lots of neat flavors and helpfully labeled not just with caffeine or caffeine free, but also with«some caffeine» or «more caffeine». I paid around $ 4.75 for an ounce bag of «Orchid Vanilla» black tea. I haven’t tried it yet, but it sound amazing.

A relatively new shop situated on the canal in Winona Lake village that invites the curious to peruse amongst its many offerings: loose leaf teas, herbs and spices, and dried goods(i.e., pasta). I was overwhelmed by the variety of products until the nice clerk explained the store’s layout and how one retrieved the item one desired. I was most intrigued by the cinnamons and vanillas on display, being an avid baker. We ended up purchasing a couple of teas and after sampling them at home, were pleased enough with the freshness and quality. Prices weren’t extravagant so one could try several things without declaring personal bankruptcy. True tea aficionados may turn up their noses at the large number of tea blends vs single leaf, but my overall experience here was enjoyable and intriguing enough that I will return to purchase some baking ingredients.
