Top notch! Good food and getting better, great drink, perfect experience. Different beers on tap, bartenders are well versed in their product and very welcoming. Waitstaff is beyond reproach. The place is beautiful. Small bar with giant big screen TV and larger bar for the music venues. Absolutely worth the time to check this place out. New Hartford hit a home run here. Chatterleys better wake up, get off their laurels, the competition is fierce!

This place is fun!!! Ella the server/bartender is great!!! She provided excellent recommendation and superb service for a bar/tavern!!! The food was great… the duck down panini with a substitution of the garlic parm sauce is to die for! !!! Ask for a side… it because is it also great for dipping fries! Looking forward to coming back and taking in a band! So much fun!!! The owner is not super friendly… but must have much on his mind for a Saturday afternoon!!!

Mentioned to the bartender that I came in despite Deborah W.‘s review and we all had a good laugh. Service is nothing like she described. Good beer selection, bacon fries app was good, and the bacon burger was excellent.

Went there Friday August 30 to listen to a friend of mine play some music. The bar area itself isn’t that bad. There are a few booths however the tables and chairs that they have there leave a lot to be desired. It’s more like something that you would see in a cafeteria. It definitely does not scream«Sit back. Take a load off. Relax and have fun!» It’s really not a bad place. The lighting is dim which is how it usually is in a bar and I’m ok with that but I think that if they were to maybe spend a few bucks and get some decent furniture they could really make the place something rather nice. The location of the bar is in a rather odd place as well — it’s at the end of a shopping plaza — and I will honestly say that I never knew it was there. This could be contributing to the issue of getting customers as outlined below. Any way, my friend was playing at 8 and we got there some time after(probably more towards 9) and the place was dead. There were probably 10 people at the most at one time in the bar — and believe me I am being generous at saying that! One would think that for a Friday night in an establishment where there is live music — and GOOD music at that — that the place would be packed with people but no. It wasn’t. Not only that but by 10 p.m. we were the only people in the joint and they ended up closing up just before 11. What I found to be the most interesting thing of the night though is the fact that there were about 30 people hanging out in the parking lot, all of which I am sure were of drinking age. So 30 people in the parking lot and only 10 people in the bar? Something is wrong here. I believe that the owner needs to seriously rethink whatever marketing he’s doing which, from the looks of it, is the occasional post on Facebook about events(which if my friend didn’t tell me he was playing there I never would have known)! This marketing tactic very obviously isn’t working for him. But who knows? Maybe his goal isn’t to get people in the door. Maybe he’s ok with having only 10 people at the bar the whole night and closing up shop early. In all honesty I might go back there one more time late on a Friday night to see if maybe it was a one-off type of situation but I highly doubt it. If he’s looking to get people in the door and promote his establishment and actually make a few bucks he really needs to do something different for his marketing because if last night was an indication of how many patrons he gets in on a Friday night then I fear that he’s going to be closing his doors very soon.

Proviso: this is NWCT, an area where there are only bars. That being said, this is almost a pub. Food is decent(some made next door at Stop & Shop), tap selection is the draw(~9 craft brews on tap NOMACROS!), price is moderate. Service is a work in progress. Expect only 1 front of haus employee on non weekend prime hours for a ~10 seat bar & ~30 person seating area. Parking is never a problem. This place relies too much on the macro bottle crowd to really take off but the potential is there. Add a real cook that does everything fresh & in haus & add a owner/son management package that is more engaged/knowledgeable and it will last; else, will be just another failed bar

I will return, there are not many places I’ve never heard of that I have left with such a smile on my face. Beer selection was super, West Coast breweries to local stuff. And not an Imbev product on tap except for Goose Island. Enjoyed some Summer Love, but they had no problem offering us samples of anything on tap. Two bartenders on and service was prompt and polite. I had the spicy burger don’t remember what it was called now. My brother ordered the stuffed bacon burger. Neither of us went home with an empty stomach. He had sweet potato fries and I had waffle. Everything was cooked to order, Medium burgers that came out like you hoped they would. Pretty cool bar décor in the place. For Winsted it was great. I will take my wife sometime later this summer.

I will never ever return to this establishment and if you’re wise, you won’t bother trying it either. There’s a bartender here that has severe behavioral issues. I was verbally accosted the other evening for no reason. It was the most bizarre exhibit of behavioral malfunction that I’ve ever witnessed. It was one of those«what the heck just happened moments.» I went here Friday evening, 9÷7÷12, to see a band with a friend; my first and last time. I rarely go out to bars. In fact, I cannot remember the last time that I went out to a bar as I can find numerous more productive ways to spend money. Regardless, I expect to be treated like a valued customer when I visit any establishment and spend my hard earned money. When we arrived, we went to the bar to place our order. I waved to the bar tender, a young woman in her 20’s to let her know that we were waiting for service. I’m only 5′ tall and always have had an issue being seen when waiting for bar service, especially when standing behing people who are seated at the bar. I have always waved(a friendly wave), to let the bartendar know that I’m there. They were busy, but I would not by any means say that they were overly busy. I waited patiently. As best I can figure, the bartender perceived my waving as «attitude.» After the first order, we placed one order through a table server. Although there was table service there wasn’t much of it and according to the waitress, the bartender does not allow customers to combine a bar tab with a table tab. So, after that my friend and I went back to the bar for the last beverage of the evening. At the end of the evening when we settled up at the bar, I needed some change. I asked for it and for some unknown reason she slammed my cash down on the bar. I guess I rolled my eyes, picked up the cash and walked away back to our table. Mind you, I didn’t say a word. I just walked back to the table. When I got back to the table, she had followed me from behind the bar and started screaming at me. saying that I needed to «lose the attitude and stop snapping my fingers for service.» There was a littany of other things said but I was so stunned I just stood there — I did manage to say that I hadn’t snapped my fingers as she was yelling at me. Her response was you«rolled your eyes.» Uh oh… I rolled my eyes after she slammed the cash down on the bar. Now, I’m not a kid. I’m a middle aged woman and this was beyond belief. Yelling at me… buyer beware! My friend just looked at me and said«take the high road. She clearly has issues.» I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what I had done to warrant such a display. I’m a high tipping delightful customer. Rather than ignoring what had transpired, I decided to apologize for any perceived transgressions. When I went back to the bar to offer an apology, I was again dressed down. My apology was received very ungraciously and begrudingly. OK… I later learned that the bartender is the owner’s daughter. She is not an asset to his business. I would assume, however, that she’s unemployable other than by shear virtue of the relationship, given the display that I suffered through.

This place is hidden in the worst location I could imagine for a restaurant, in the end spot of a dying strip in a Stop&Shop plaza. However, the food was fantastic and the beer selection is very good. The Garlic Parmesan Wings were delicious, and the breakfast burger(bacon, cheese and egg cooked any way you want) was great. Our server, Ella was very friendly and efficient.

All the way in the back-ass corner of a shopping plaza with Stop and Shop. Drinks were strong as a mofo and the Irish nachos were delish, however we seemed to be there on senior night… ton of people there all older than about 50. Our waitress was a peach though!

Love this place! Great bartenders. The type that remember your name and what you drink. Solid pub styled food and my personal favorite, a very nice constantly changing beer selection. My regular watering hole.
