Applebee’s

I’ve been to a lot of Applebee’s restaurants, this one has the friendliest wait staff and manager!
An old friend and I stopped by for dessert after a day of shopping and had a blast! I was so surprised and the smiles and helpfulness of this location.
By the way, the pretzel bites are FANTASTIC!

Applebee’s has changed a lot. The food doesn’t seem to be as good as it used to be. We stopped going to Applebee’s because the music was too loud. We were there for lunch the other day and the music was okay. Our waitress took good care of us.

They get 5 stars today for being the only restaurant to offer veterans like my dad A FULL MEAL for serving this country. They also had the local rotc come and speak with all the veterans. Thank you for the respect they deserve.

Nothing really special with the food, It was hot and flavorful. But this review is more for the service provided by our waitress Rhonda, (her name tag said Rodzilla) which was apt because she was a service beast! She was more than upbeat and positive. She looked after my brother and was the same way with every table I heard her attending. She is an asset to the restaurant.

I have never been wildly enthusiastic about Applebee’s… any Applebee’s… but when we go to the movies and have a limited budget after shelling out billions for theater tickets and concessions, we occasionally dine here after a show. The servers are always very pleasant, but the food and drinks are very mediocre.
On our most recent visit last Friday evening, Applebee’s has apparently installed little touch screen tablets at each table that allow you to place orders, «page» your waiter, pay by credit/​debit card, and play games for an additional charge of $ 0.99. I think these tablets might be a little more gimmicky than practical as I don’t think it sped up the whole process at all. In fact, it might have slowed our waiter down a bit.
Also, I don’t know if this is a new trend or not, but I’ve been to a couple of restaurants recently where they have written down the names of all the people in the party and then make a point of addressing each person by name for the rest of the evening. That was the case here on our Friday visit… it was sort of easy for our server because his name was Mike, my son’s name is Mike, and my housekeeper’s name is Mike. So, when I became «Wilma» for some reason, I was willing to let it slide. Maybe Wilma leads a more exciting life than I do.
Overall, I would never choose to come here if I had more money after the movies, but it beats the Golden Corral or fast food, and it’s reasonably affordable.

Bad food, typical sports bra food but worse. Literally, it’s soo unhealthy and nothing is memorable. I know they have the half off appetizers deal at night, so I guess come here if you are craving some greasy food.
Their drinks are generally pretty good though, so don’t hesitate. They do have top and bottom shelves.
Moz sticks, not good, cold.
Quesadilla burger, legit, a burger in taco wrap.
Shrimp Scampi Fetuucine, BAD. Greasy pasta, VERY small portion, very little shrimp and just a couple pieces of zucchini and squash, no thanks. I miss cheesecake factory.
At least their waiters happen to be super courteous at this location… hmmm

Was traveling and stopped here. I had the quesadilla. It is hard to mess that up. It was o.k.

What happen? I went there on Saturday, Feb 2 with my mom and my niece. My mother and I are both vegetarians. I’m has hoping that I could get a pasta dish without meat nope, my only options were soup, salad, and bread sticks. My mother and I decided to split an appetizer, the spinach and artichoke dip with chips. The chips were small and broken, I remember getting bigger chips and they taste like they were homemade. Theses chips look like, and taste like they came from the store. the dip itself had a funny taste almost a watered down taste. My soup and my mother’s soup was okay. The service was great but the food wasn’t that good.

Service was great — food was terrible. Our last time @ Applebee’s.

Nothing bad but nothing memorable. They do offer some good daily drink specials however. I think the free meals for veterans promotion on Veteran’s day is so nice– I wish more restaurants would take part.
