Food is pretty good. Best bacon and cheese fires that I’ve ever had. I also had the burger sliders which wasn’t to bad either. Our waitress day ended as we were finishing up eating. We paid her and she left to go home. We didn’t leave immediately after that, we sat a talked for at least an hour. Not one time did another waitress or manager come by to see if we needed anything else. Now they pass our table dozens of times, just never stopped.

I’ve been here a few times and order their French dip or burgers. This time I decided to try their Gobbler Croissant with sliced smoked turkey, Swiss cheese, cucumber and ranch to dip. I love their house chips with ranch. Honestly my favorite homemade chips anywhere. The ambiance is casual and laid back. They have a little outdoor seating but I always sit indoors. They have a wall of beer on draft which is pretty cool too.

When I was younger, other locations of Ham’s used to be the go to after high school games or for a quick dinner. In my first trip to this location, unfortunately I was fairly unimpressed with the food and service. I tried the Kickin’ Chicken Sandwich, basically a buffalo chicken sandwich with a couple slices of cucumber. I was very disappointed in the size of the chicken breast which was minuscule when compared to the large bun it was served on. Just as bad were the two slivers of slimy cucumber the sandwich was topped with. As a side item I ordered the homemade chips which were very greasy and almost cool to the touch. My friend order a classic cheeseburger which looked decent and may have been a better choice than my chicken sandwich. To their credit Ham’s does have a decent location with plenty of seating and also has a sizable bar. The beer selection on tap is also very adequate for a place like Ham’s with many beers on tab for what seemed like reasonable prices. Overall there are much better local joints in the area with better food and atmosphere to stop in for a casual dinner.

I have been to Ham’s quite a few times since I can literally walk to it from my house. We have had some so-so service, but overall we have been quite happy with the service. The servers have been friendly and efficient. I come here for the buffalo wings. They are awesome. Nice and crispy! The buffalo has good flavor but not to much heat, which is how I prefer them. It’s a good place to watch sports since there are TVs literally everywhere. I’m not a big beer drinker but if you are you can order those big pouring stations for the table or get a card and pour from the draft wall. I have also had the cookie skillet which is a cult favorite too some. I do think it’s a bit undercooked, but the menu warns you of that, personal choice there. I will continue to come to Ham’s when I am in the mood for some wings!

The music was full blast. I could not hear or talk on my telephone, cell. The waitress not display any manners. the food was good and portions were big. Management would not turn down the loud music. I got a refund of my meal. I not pay for it. The food was slow to come to my table. There was only one other table besides mine. And had hard time finding my waitress. the waitress would talk rude to me. kept repeating herself. gave meal to table. asked if wanted anything else. hard to find her. i was the only customer. the gave me the bill. tried to run away. the credit card agency gave me a refund. she would stand behind me. and yell in my ear. the waitress would stand far away from me. had to ask her to come to the table. nearer to me.

Blah! So I can here last night to watch a little football. The nice thing is that they have TVs everywhere besides that this place leaves little to be desired. Took forever to get 2 waters and sill had to wait to put our order in. I had they sweet chili & the Asian wings. They were okay nothing awesome. Soon as the game ended it was over, lights on & elevator music on. Deff felt super rushed. Now the thing that annoyed me was the fact that my friend ordered a Jäger bomb(I know what you’re thinking who does that in 2015?) and first they sent a glass of straight up Jäger…fail! Then when I specified it was a Jäger bomb we got 2 glasses that were the same size anyone that knows anything knows this isn’t a Jäger bomb. The point of a bomb is to drop a shot into another glass so again FAIL! So I approached the bartender and told her what the problem was & she told me that I was WRONG! That that’s not a Jäger bomb… REALLY?!? You’re a bartender and don’t know how to prepare a Jäger bomb & then tell me I’m wrong? What in the? So yeah that was my experience, needless to say I won’t be returning.

Waited almost 25 minutes to get a drink. 10 minutes to be waited on and after my order another 15 minutes to get my drink. Only after I went to the bar to order my own did my waitress tell me it was on its way. Food is marginal at best. 3 of the auto taps that I tried were out of beer. I don’t recommend this place and will not be back.

The food taste as though it had been freezer burnt, yes we all sampled each others food. My onion rings literally had frying oil dripping out, leaving puddles, they definitely hadn’t changed fry oil recently either. No one at our table of 8 could eat the house chips which were dark brown and some even had burnt edges, again with the recycled oily taste. Even the teens wouldnt touch them. The waitress stood behind the person next to me, rubbed the back of his shirt & said«What do you want to eat?» Do we really want dirty food hands on our shirt? She also pushed my sons arm out of the way to refill his water, knocked his knife on the floor(not even saying excuse me) but then my other son couldn’t eat his food because he went so long without a tea refill. Still no tea when we left. I watched the waiter for a while at the bar hanging out. Will not go back, 2 of our party even had to stop at CVS on the way home for Tums & GasX

I love this location of Hams! When me and my husband go we always sit at the bar and if Gabriella isn’t working then we don’t stay. She is the reason we come! She is always so positive and if we’re having a bad day she always peps us up. She is such a people person that it makes us want to go there more often. She’s really good at suggestions for food too. We love Gabby! And we love this Ham’s location. We’ll go back this week.

Noticed they’re advertising $ 3.99 burger Tuesdays on a billboard on I-40 at Stratford Road. Beware! Its misleading. You are required to purchase a drink when you order this — REQUIRED. So the actual price of the $ 3.99 burger special is $ 6.60. Deceitful!

I visited during the week for dinner, with my wife for one of our very rare date nights. We were seated in close proximity to the bar, and the business was sparsely populated. We decided to order drinks and I requested a beer list and a drink menu. The waitress who was very professional made us aware that they did not have a drink menu and advised me that another table currently had the beer list, and directed us to look at a chalk board on the other side of the restaurant for the drink menu. We asked the waitress what drinks they had that were fruity, preferably peach. The waitress asked the bartender what he had fitting that description, and the bartender replied«Nope we ain’t got nothing like that, I mean other than peach schnapps.» He made this reply while never looking away from the television behind the bar, which was playing a CFL Football game. I ordered a beer and my wife ordered a drink that the waitress suggested. I ordered a second beer, which was Sweet Water 420 and the bartender shouts at the waitress from behind the bar that they dont have that, advising that they just have regular sweet water. I ordered that knowing that sweet water does not make a regular sweet water beer. After several minutes passed the waitress asked the bartender if he has prepared the beer that I ordered, to which he replies«Can’t you see I am busy» as he continued to flirt with the only girl that was sitting at the bar. The waitress responded by stating that she had asked from it ten minutes ago, as he continued to attempt to woo the girl at the bar. Our waitress asked again, and he reluctantly went and poured my beer from the tap. The beer comes to the table and is 1⁄3 head, and turns out that it was indeed sweet water 420. I complimented our waitress and commended her for remaining professional while dealing with a bartender with such a derogatory attitude. I asked the waitress for the bartenders name so that I could include it on the Unilocal post. Tatum, you are quite possibly the worst bartender that I have ever came into contact with in any establishment. If you visit this establishment feel free to order Tatum a nice tall glass or personality and a double shot of professionalism, he could certainly use it.

I went to Ham’s with my son and his family because they had been once or twice and liked it. We waited an hour for our food and there were only a few tables of customers. It was ridiculous. My son asked for his burger plain but it came with lettuce, mayo, etc. my shrimp was soggy. We asked several times for the manager and she finally came out and adjusted our check. I might give it another try but I doubt it.

If youre a wing person this is the place to gom seriously the best wings Ive ever had, reasonably priced, and huge! Good affordable beer choices to go with their amazing wings too! Do not care about sports, tvs, or bands but the wings definitely have me sold.

I visited Ham’s with a friend from W-S to watch some ACC basketball. The place was pretty crowded, but we were able to get seats at the bar. They have plenty of t. v’s so you don’t have to worry about that. Service was good at the bar. I ordered the Teryaki chicken with fries and slaw. The food was solid, but nothing spectacular. I would compare Ham’s to a Carolina Ale House or Wild Wing Café in terms of ambiance and food quality. The poor your own taps concept, is a new one to me. I didn’t try it this time, but maybe another time. We left after the game, but it appeared as if they have live music(a band) on Saturday nights.

Good food. Cheap Miller Lite. Parking is a bitch, but a ton of TV’s! Recommend for a good sports bar & grill!

My wife and I are from Greensboro and we love the Hams at Palladium. We are really excited that there is now a Hams in WS. The menu and the atmosphere have not changed one bit which is a great thing. Great food for a great price. An excellent place to watch sports or to just hangout with family or friends. When I first heard that Hams had come to WS, I read that they were going to have a carefully selected craft beer list. I definitely agree that they have a good list, once you find out what is on that list. We have been twice and neither time did they have a current draft list. We were left to order from what the waitress could remember, which can be tough when the beers have names like Sweet Josie Brown and Salted Belgium Chocolate Stout. They also introduced me to the«Beer Button» dispensing system. A pour-your-own set of taps that are activated by attaching you magnetic FOB that has been preloaded with cash. This system sounded amazing to me so I immediately paid the $ 1 to receive my reloadable fob and loaded it with $ 10. I was quickly saddened when the first beer I poured, sprayed nothing but foam into my glass. The pressure was way too high on the line and there was no bar tender there to discharge the line and make sure cold beer was pouring from the tap. It did however, charge me for 2 oz. of beer. I then asked to order a beer from the Beer Button wall through my waitress and was informed that they were self serve only. The restaurant was very crowded for the Carolina v. State basketball game but I noticed that no one else in the restaurant was using the Beer Button wall. Next time I will be consulting a manager when the tap spits nothing but foam. Hopefully in the future the novelty of this contraption will wear off and these taps will be incorporated with the other taps behind the bar; or they devise a maintenance plan to periodically uncharge the lines. Pros = Great food, service and atmosphere. Cons = Beer Button system had all best offerings but was not fully realized.

Overall we have a good experience, just would like to leave some feedback. The Craft Beer Wall did not work well, I ordered one of the«fobs» to use for the pour your own taps, both my father-in-law and I got a lot of foam. We told the manager and he reimbursed us. I think it would have been helpful if the waitress would have let us know the tap list on the bar also. I’m assuming the craft beer wall taps do not get used often, so hence the foam. I also noticed that my father-in-law and I were the only ones who used the craft beer wall while we there.
