I went to Mitchell’s Piano Gallery just to play some of the pianos and get an idea of which kind I would like to one day purchase, and was really impressed by their selection. They not only have a large selection of grands and uprights, they have all kinds of Yamaha digitals and Clavinovas. I’ve never played those and was really impressed with the sound. The salesperson was very helpful, and answered all of my questions about the differences between each piano. I also liked that he gave me all the time I wanted to sit and play them. Mitchell’s has a very friendly atmosphere, and the people there really enjoy what they do. One day, I’ll buy a piano, and I’ll defintiely get it from Mitchell’s.

I had such a great experience here. After searching long and hard for the perfect piano my experience here was excellent. From start to finish I was able to find something that met my needs and budget. I cannot recommend this business enough.

I don’t have any nice things to say about Mitchell’s Piano Gallery besides the fact that they have plenty of parking. First off, that«Piano Clearance» sign has been up for months so take its message with a grain of salt. Secondly, the salesman here was dismissive, and had quite the air of pretension in the way he talked to me, which was probably because I am fairly young and did not come wearing a suit. Thirdly, I found his attitude even odder because Mitchell’s Piano Gallery is NOT a high-end piano place with their focus being cheap overseas imports like Kawaii, Yamaha, Baldwin and Roland. I would save my time and go to Piedmont Music Center on Broad St who not only sells everything that’s sold here(plus high end pianos like Steinways and Bosendorfers), but does so with a friendly attitude.
