Love this place! We were on our way to Atelier on Trade but arrived a bit late and there were not many pastries left so I decided to check out Rusty Bumper as I have never heard of it previously. What a great choice that was. There was a folk group inside singing and playing an array of instruments. It made the ambience to relaxing and homey. The girl behind the counter was very nice and welcoming. I ordered the expresso shake and it was delicious, I could even see chunks of espresso in it! I will definitely be back soon for w bagel or more ice cream when it warms up. I’d also love to go see the group do a show somewhere, they were fantastic!

Priced about Right for what it is! People in the Arts District want Ice Cream! Are they going to be picky when it is HOT outside? Obviously there are some choices though none in a similar category in reasonable walking distance!
OK, it is Blue Bunny Ice Cream, the Kind you can get at a local Grocer! WAIT that does not mean they would never offer other Brands or Change to a Super Premium or make their own? Catering to those who want COLD Cream on a HOT day! I also appladed their descion to spend minimally on Décor! SMART as far as I’m concerned!!!
