The Screaming Radish

Today was my second visit and I ordered the Chiquieles (I think) and it was delicious. The vegetable dish I had before was also excellent. The flavors they put together are new, even surprising, and delicious. The portions are enough for two meals for me. The ingredients are super high quality. Great attention to every detail. Really good food coming out of this truck.

For starters don’t assume the truck will be at that address above, they move all over, as do most food trucks. I came across them while they were at coffee park on Reynolda. The menu for the day was pretty impressive, I was between the bacon short rib burger, lamb ragu sandwich, or the farmer’s plate. In my effort to try to eat a bit more healthy I went with the farmer’s plate. It was really delicious, fresh, perfectly dressed, and chock full of fresh herbs. I would definitely get it again but since I was pretty hungry I just wish it was a bit bigger. Next time that burger will be calling my name.
In general I have loved all of Check Kevin’s food that I have tried in the past so I was excited to try out his food truck. The menu changes often so I can see myself grabbing some lunch from here often. I thought the prices were reasonable and what you would expect for freshly prepared food that has an emphasis on local.
I will be back that is for sure!
