Universal Storage Solutions

I consider myself an expert on storage space now, as I investigated numerous storage facilities in Winston-​Salem and went to see three others before deciding on Universal Storage Solutions. This is a new facility that opened earlier this year just off the Jonestown Road exit on Hwy 421 coming from Winston-​Salem. It was by far the cleanest, most professional storage facility I’ve seen in this area.
Staff: Franz, Cindy, and Andi were very nice and knowledgeable, and patient with all my questions. Instead of urging me to get a larger unit as some other facilities do, Cindy and Franz advised me that I wouldn’t need a unit as large as the one I came in asking about. Andi was very friendly, gave me a thorough tour of the facility, and walked to my unit with me multiple times to provide assistance.
Features: I believe all the units are climate-​controlled, which means air conditioning in the summer (at 78 degrees) and heat in the winter (at 68 degrees). The facility also provides pest control. The units appear to be about 10 foot high with fluorescent lights above each (as opposed to the other facilities I saw, which provided lighting only in the hallways, leaving the units dark and shadowy.) The facility has several bays, which allows for convenient loading/​unloading and provides carts for use in transporting boxes to the units.
Security: The units are secured by a lock that the renter provides. A passcode is necessary to get into the building through any of multiple entrances, depending on where your unit is located.
Rates: Their rates were below most of the other facilities I checked into, and I’m told that rate increases are generally modest and implemented after 300 days. (As opposed to other facilities that offer low promotional rates to get you in the door, then jack up the rates significantly thereafter.)
Only time will tell, but I was really impressed with the facilities and the professionalism of the company and its staff. Grateful to have found them.

Just left their Grand Opening and let me tell you I was blown away, this place is amazing, great place to hangout, they allowed business owner to use their facility for presentations, great staff and very welcoming, definitely a great place to storage your stuff.
