When I moved to Winter Garden this little coffee shop was one of the things I was most excited about. The coffee is delicious and there is no doubt their baristas really have a passion for quality work and coffee.

My Iced Chai Latte was SOGOOD. Ugh perfection. The place itself was also very cute and the staff was courteous. I didn’t spend much time as I was headed to the Farmer’s Market but if I lived closer I’d definitely frequent very often!

First time at Axum. I had a caprese sandwich with a Raspberry Italian soda. My sweet 4 year old had a chocolate muffin. I loved the environment, I felt like I was hanging out at a friends house. Very welcoming & service was great

In a world saturated beyond comprehension with a Starbucks on every street corner, it’s refreshing to find an honest coffee shop who’s goal is to serve the vets possible coffee, not just practice tomfoolery with it.(I swear the next time I hear ANYONE say«double-pump» or «no whip» I’ll commit murder) Their message is simple– Brew great coffee, donate proceeds to a good cause, and provide a relaxed atmosphere go enjoy both in. Heck, even the small selection of baked goods and sandwiches are delicious.(Hello, spinach and feta croissant) All in all, the place was clean, folks were friendly, and everything I ordered was delicious. A great spot to enjoy a cup o’ Joe.

We were looking for a Starbucks when a women suggested Axum. I am so thankful because Axum’s coffee blows Starbucks out of the water(which, coming from me, is really saying something because I’m crazy picky about my coffee). My fiancé and I had the white chocolate mochas — pure heaven! The café itself is in a nice spot. We sat outside with our bikes(there’s plenty of room) & the seating’s all in the shade. Definitely coming back again asap!

Great place to hang out. Fair prices. Good hours. Right in the middle of everything. Can get crowded in terms of finding a table inside, but plenty of options outside. Some nice snacks for sale in addition to the drinks. Horrible cell service, but they do have good wifi. The music selection rocks.

Being a small business as well, we love to support others. Axum coffee has great coffee and amazing service. Everyone is so friendly. The atmosphere is welcoming. They help charities which to me I would rather spend $ 12 on a coffee for those who help others in need than Starbucks. Starbucks was asked a few years back to send coffee, etc to our soldiers and they said no. Axum, we love you and will continue to support your business! MMOSTUDIOS, LLC

My fiancé and I came here on a Sunday afternoon and although it was quite busy, the service was excellent! Super friendly baristas and quick turnout for orders. We ordered an iced cinnabee(one of their specialty beverages) and an iced almond milk latte and both were absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to return and try more of their specialty beverages! Hoping they eventually open more locations in the Orlando area.

A great coffee experience at the Plant Street Market location(next to Crooked Can). Neil the barista is highly skilled and loves to talk about the coffee. It’s not just a cup of coffee, it’s an experience. You just have to ask and Neil can answer just about anything you want to know.

I ordered a jasmine green tea and then paid cash for it, the barrister that handled the money went ahead without washing his hand to prepare the tea. After seeing his hand all over the tea bag I suggested to him that maybe next time he should use a glove or wash his hand or be careful not to touch the tea bag. His answer to me was«I just took the food safety coarse and that the water is hot enough to kill any bacteria». Maybe management might want go over food safety with him.

It was time to give AXUM a try finally… Positives: Plenty of seating inside and out Nice selection of pastries 2 registers which helps to keep the line moving The crowd was pretty friendly Negatives: A wee bit on the loud side WIFI was VERYSLOW The seating is not very comfortable except for a few chairs being saved for others The Barista that waited on me did not know the difference between Iced Coffee and Cold Brew Since I live near Lake Pickett, it is a bit of a drive to get here for me. Was it worth the drive? Not really because the coffee was no better than Starbucks in my opinion. Would I stop here again if I was already in Winter Garden? Probably but I would stick to a Latte and maybe a pastry but NOT if I needed to work since the WIFI was painfully slow. A Florida Foodie

Cute local spot to grab a coffee or tea. I usually get the iced chai tea latte, its very refreshing and just enough to reawaken and get to continue what Im doing. I usually am able to find a comfortable spot with a plug nearby and get some work done.

I remembered this place from a trip to FL a year ago. The coffee was so good that I thought I’d give it another try. I really like the atmosphere and the ambiance. I also appreciate how their profits go toward those in need. It definitely makes me feel better about going here instead of Starbucks! Did I mention that the coffee is delicious? I got the white chocolate mocha and was very happy with my choice.

Can’t say I drink coffee enough to be a coffee snob. But I do love a standard issue black coffee with nothing in it. That way you get to taste the coffee itself without any sugary cover-up. The iced coffee at Axum is heavenly. Simply incredible!

Wonderful environment. As a elementary teacher, you often go home on the weekends with a lot of «homework». This is the perfect place to go for a large cup of coffe, 16oz. At such a great price. Lots of desk and comfy chairs, including wifi where you can get your work done in peace. Also, indulged on one of the paninis, absolutely hit the spot the ham and Swiss one with honey mustard. I could see this being a regular spot. Not to mention then do it all for nonprofit! KUDOS to axum

I enjoy Axum Coffee. I end up coming here mostly out of convenience, but I’m very satisfied with the product. The coffee is quality and the interior of the store is charming. The food products are pretty good as well. I come here a lot on weekends to go to Plant Street Market. Since we usually show up pretty early, I often need some coffee. Axum Coffee, which donates«100% of its profits» to charities, is a nice addition to the downtown. I usually get iced coffee. Its usually pretty good, and the prices are pretty reasonable. I think I pay just under $ 3 for a large iced coffee. They also have a very cute snack section. My husband always gets this cupcake brownie thing that is pretty good. They also have a few quiches, a turkey wrap, and other desserts. There’s free water in a pitcher near to door. This is great if you have dog and need to fill up his bowl. No one ever seems to mind if I get our dog a refill. The indoor seating area is nice, but gets pretty crowded on the weekend. We usually sit outside in a shady area on the side street by the back exit. It’s a lovely spot. They have a reward program where if you buy a certain number of coffees, you get one free. I don’t think you have to sign-up, I think they track your credit card. I don’t know how it works if you pay with cash. My only complaint is that the employees mosey along at a pretty sedate pace. This can make things take an aggravatingly long time when the lines get long. However, I suppose it’s not a huge deal. Overall, I enjoy Axum and recommend it if you’re in downtown Winter Garden.

It’s not always easy to find quality coffee in quaint little towns. That’s not the case in Winter Garden. Axum Coffee is doing it right. I ordered an iced soy latte and was very pleased with my choice. Their yummy espresso is not acidic or bitter — it was just right. There is plenty of seating if you wanted to come to do work at a table or hang with friends on the comfy chairs. I don’t come to Winter Garden much but Axum definitely gives me a reason to make the drive more often. Well done, guys!

Quality coffee without any sort of pretentiousness. I traveled an hour across town to check Axum out and was not disappointed. I ordered an iced soy latte and it was on point. I loved the espresso. My only complaint is that the environment created inside is a a little too country for my liking. I guess that is what’s expected in Winter Garden. The people sippin’ coffee inside were of all age groups. If you have been wanting to check out a quality coffee joint but have been scared that you will feel out of place, this is a great shop to start at. The baristas were friendly as well. Ask them anything and expect a respectful and kind response.

Such an amazing mission that these people are on. Trying to help the world by providing their funds to impoverished countries, while still providing amazing coffee. I had the Americano and a spinach feta croissant and both were just perfect. A little sugar made the Americano taste great. This is a must while in Winter Garden. My friends and I drove over half an hour just to get this coffee. Stop here!
