When I came here a couple months ago I wasn’t able to drink but this time I could so naturally Crooked Can was my first stop. My bartender was attentive and knew his beers well. I had the McSwagger Ale first and my second beer was a bartender suggestion of the Blood Orange IPA. Both were delicious and smooth holding true to their styles. The atmosphere is awesome and after 6 they had live music that was superb. There is limited indoor seating but the tables are big so you can always join with another party and make new friends. I can’t wait to come back again and try some of their other beers

Craft beer snob here, giving Crooked Can a definite two thumbs up. Most times I’m up in the Orlando area, I do my best to come here. Around 12 – 14 different beers, all made by CC. Great staff. Two bars to serve you. Outdoor and indoor seating(although there’s definitely more outdoor than indoor, just a heads up in case the weather is crappy) They themselves don’t serve food but CC is in a pretty cool I for market type of place. Food is good but a little pricey for my taste so I usually don’t do my eating there. Live music outside occasionally. Flights available for all of your sampling wishes. Cheers!

Great location, excited to have a brewery in Winter Garden. The demographics of cliental here are super broad. They encourage you to grab food from local businesses which is great. We got a pie from the winter garden pizza company and it paired great with the beers on tap that night. Bartenders were super friendly, informative and patient. Patio atmosphere is welcoming with the occasional live music.

This location is one of the coolest places I’ve ever been drinking at! The brewery is in its own side of this warehouse/industrial market place. You can order beers and then walk up and down the market. There’s a butcher stop, Florida honey booth, sushi place, homemade gourmet chocolate stop, and tons more. It’s like a farmers market/post apocalyptic trade station! It’s really neat! Crooked Can was awesome! Great beer selections, great prices, and great service. The Blood Orange IPA was awesome and perfect for someone to try if they don’t like IPAs. The cups are little glass«cans» and super neat! I got to experience something I’ve never even imagined! I called it, «Beer Bartering!» A couple we met there were drinking with us and the wife pulled out 2 large bottles of «Cigar City» beer that were limited bottled in 2012⁄2013. She passed them to the bartender and he pulled out 10 glasses and poured the bottle and shared them with some patrons and our bartenders. He then pulled out some of his own secret collection and shared with us as well. That was a really cool experience!

Love this place! The only bad thing is that you can’t find a place to sit because everybody loves it! Its in a great location inside the Plant Street Market which is really cool because you can visit all the cool little shops and food options inside while enjoying an awesome local beer or my favorite the Ace Pineapple Cider. It is so refreshing!

This place and concept is fantastic! The building itself is welcoming and beautifully designed. There is a very nice variety of food choices in the market area of the building; pizza, sandwiches, bakery, chocolate, smoothies. There are cute local vendors ready to talk to you and explain their products. While eating and shopping, grab yourself a flight at the brewery or your favorite pint of Mc Swagger’s brew. The casual, family friendly concept is outstanding. There is also an outdoor patio that includes areas for children to play.

This place rocks! The largest area inside of the Plant Street Market, this brewery has a little of everything. You can sit at the bar standard style and catch a little TV. You can grab a beer at the window and walk around with it while shopping or sit outside in the patio. Or take a tour and see what it’s all about behind the scenes! The pineapple cider is a personal fave. The hubs agrees. It’s a touch in the sweet side, so sharing it may be a good idea. We like to take ours to go and shop through the market. The inside bar is quick and easy to get a drink and be in your way in minutes. The giant windows showcasing the small brew house is really neat to check out. I love begins the scene looks. They have some events every month, so check their calendar for upcoming good times! Overall: A Great place to hit for a drink and a view!

What a amazing concept… I love being able to grab a drink and browse the different artisan crafts. Macaron’s were amazing — beer was amazing — and the meat counter… OMG. Only wish I ate meat it looked so pretty!!! This place would be off the hook if they also had live music… Something they should consider!

I found Crooked Can through a review at another website and visited them. Only saw this Unilocal review page and wanted to add my rating to the list.

We stopped in at the Crooked Can Brewery today and I gotta say, the it’s awesome! There are a ton of food options inside and the brews and cider are really delicious! There are plenty of places to sit, inside and out, and I thought it was really cool that they have dog bowls provided if bring any furry friends along. One thing I really want to try are the tours they hold on Sundays. They say to book ahead online to reserve a space before you come. We will definitely have to check that out. All in all, an awesome place and totally worth revisiting!

Great addition to WG. I love the fact that you can go in and tell them what kinds of beers you like and they will give you a few recommendations and tastes so that you can decide what you want. Have gone several times at different times of the day/evening and with different groups of friends. Every time has been good. The only problem is when they run out of tables. People tend to get a spot and stay for hours. Tables don’t turn like a restaurant. It might be a good idea if they put a really long bar down the middle of the outside eating area with stools on both sides to fit in a lot more people just sitting and sipping beers. Have ordered from 5Thymes and now you can get pizza too. Like I said — it’s a great addition to WG. Glad it’s a local option.

Downtown Winter Garden is a gorgeous town and the addition of Crooked Can Brewing Company and the Plant Street Market is a remarkable success. Crooked Can is an upstart craft brewery with an onsite tap and tasting room. They typically have around 12 – 16 beers on tap, 4 of which are their flagship brands. The brick building is gorgeous and it’s surrounded with stunning Spanish Moss draped Oak Trees, creating a very serene and enchanting atmosphere. There is a vast amount of outside and inside seating throughout the entirety of the Market. That’s right, you can walk around and peruse the Market with your beer in hand. The Market provides many options for grabbing some great grub and shopping for hand-crafted products. There’s pizza, sushi, juices, coffee, chocolates, a bakery, a butcher, and more. There’s a little lawn beside a silo to play corn hole, giant Connect4 and giant Jenga. The lawn is mostly where people let their children play. But on every second and fourth Saturday of the month, there is yoga offered at 11am for $ 10 and includes one beer. Let me tell you, the instructor Ryan is phenomenal. They have brewery tours on Sunday, and live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are two bars to order from, the main bar and the outdoor bar. The main bar has a wall full of chalkboards of the beers available to order. I love that each time the brews are switched, the art on each board changes as well. There are no servers milling about, so you do have to walk up to the bar to get a tasty drink. The brewery is set up for you to get every opportunity to meet new people and I’ve made many new acquaintances while relaxing here and that includes the people that work here. The personalities and friendliness of the staff is outstanding. The variety of beers is phenomenal, anyone can find a beer that they’ll enjoy. They also offer wine to those who don’t prefer beer. To me the Domestic Bliss, their Belgian Strong Ale, is by far my favorite. A very close second is the Barleywine. Every beer I’ve had has been a winner. There are growlers and crowlers that you can purchase to take home any of their beers on tap. The Brewery set out to create a cultural following for a way of life that represents a free spirit, with a laid back approach, but that also has purpose. I feel that they have succeeded in every way possible.

My experience here was short, but sweet. I am huge fan of craft beer and have been dying to try this place for months and I am so glad I finally made it out! I had a flight with the blueberry wheat, honey something or other, the amber and the kolsch. They were all quite tasty, but my favorites were the blueberry and the honey! I will definitely be back!

If you’re going to try a craft beer for the first time and the only information you have to go on is the name and the ABV, and a beer is $ 5 – 7, is it a sin to want to know kind of beer it is? My group had one very helpful and knowledgeable bartender and one rude and unhelpful one. The latter gave no information on the beers on tap, and grudgingly gave samples. So let’s have a thought experiment here. You’re a small brewery. You’ve been around for a year or so. You’re located in something of a touristy/visitor area in a brand new boutique market, and it’s Saturday. Q: Who are your customers going to be? A: Not regulars. Nobody knows what the fuck a «Domestic Bliss» is. Your names are creative and all, but people buying them should have more information, including the price. How about a few laminated beer lists? That said, the helpful bartender gave a ton of information and once said he’d never want to see a good beer«go to waste.» The unhelpful one just said the name of the beer. She was my bartender. I tried one sample, didn’t like it, so I went with Domestic Bliss, feeling unwelcome to ask for another. I couldn’t stand it and ended up trading a friend. All things considered, I highly recommend having a beer here after a flouncy weekend bike ride on the West Orange Trail. I also imagine that, in the spirit of Redlight Redlight, there will eventually be some more information available on the beers so that you can make a good choice without wasting the bartender’s time. Finally, a flight of beers would have been a good idea. It usually is at these places. I’ll do that next time.

A local brewery with plentiful outdoor, shaded seating, live music, and good beer. This can’t be beat! I loved the feel of Crooked Can’s space inside of Plant Street Market. Their location right next to the West Orange Trail makes this a perfect makeshift trailhead where you could easily end a bike ride with a cold beer. They have two places to order drinks. One bar is fully inside and one splits between inside and outside. This is especially helpful for those who brought pets to sit outside and can’t bring them inside to order. Although I wish there was table service, I understand that may be challenging with the seating and set up around Plant Street Market. The beer was good! Lots of options and types. I liked the Hefeweizen a lot. I could easily spend hours hanging outside with friends and having drinks. The spots gets very busy, especially on Saturdays, but is definitely worth the stop.

What an array of options this place offers! Regardless of the style of beer you like best, they’re likely to offer a very well-made version of it at Crooked Can. The menu is on the wall behind the bar, and offers great explanations of what’s on offer, and how it is made. Aside from the beers, though, it’s the environment that makes this place special. The concept they had for a new building to house their showcase brewery and synergistic businesses has been perfectly executed. The long counter lets you sip and enjoy your brew while admiring the stainless steel complexity behind the glass was. Or, if you prefer a table inside or out, that’s available, too. A variety of tasty noshes are available just down the hall, from burgers to pizzas and all sorts of sweet treats. The whole of Plant Street Market is a great place to stop in after work, or enjoy after visiting the nearby Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings. Crooked Can is a great addition to the town of Winter Garden.

I have had Plant Street Market in my bookmarks, and finally got a chance to check it out today. Little that I knew, Crooked Can Brewing Company was here. It instantly reminded me of my craft beer buds Stacy, Sofia, and Hiram!!! Hello, I hope you are reading this. Come check this place out!!! Stacy and Sofia, Winter Garden has a huge bike trail too! You will love it. This is a local brewery ran by two guys who make their beer in house. You can find their beers on their website, plus I took a pic of their other drink options. There are a nice number of fun local stops inside Plant City Market, so it is a cool spot to check out if you are in the Orlando area!

This local brewery definitely deserves 5 stars! They have a great selection of beers– from IPAs to a Hefeweizen to everything in between. For the non beer drinker, they also have a cider on tap and they serve wine. The staff is super friendly and super cool too. There is a huge patio with a ton of outdoor seating. It’s a dog friendly patio so bring your pooch! They have a super convenient walk up window to order your drinks at on their patio. Crooked can has a good amount of seats inside as well with 2 bars and a couple of TVs. They have live music from time to time on the weekends too so be sure to check them out!

Crooked Can is inside Plant St Market. There are two bars where you can order your beer at, but we never saw any wait staff come out to our table outside to take an order. So we went to the bar and ordered and brought our drinks back to the table. Due to this and the fact that there were 6 in our group, we were often not spending time together, because some of us would need to wait at the bar inside to order beer, while the others were holding the table. There is also very limited seating inside, which isn’t great when it’s raining — as it started to do when I visited. Their beer menu was lacking the brewing company that made each beer, it only showed the name of the beer. For those that want more information on what they are ordering and drinking, you would have to ask. I ordered a flight and was happy that their flights let you pick from any beer on tap, not just their own beers brewed by Crooked Can. Their flight holder, is amusing looking, but the problem is when you are there with multiple people, all trying to sit at a tiny table, and you all have these needlessly gigantic flight containers, they take up the entire table. And then there is no room for food. While this may sound like a lot of negatives, it’s more that there is a lot for the owners and staff here to learn. Once they get their footing, this could be a great place for more than just the locals to drink.
