Denny’s

I can’t believe there aren’t more bad reviews on here. I don’t know why I went back after the last time I went with my mom she got a piece of the medal scrubber in her grits & with her having her large intestine removed due to an illness would have killed her if she wouldn’t have caught it in her mouth before swallowing. When calling to place a to-​go order I was put on hold longer than I should have been. Then while trying to place my order the lady taking it was talking to someone else while I was trying to tell her what I wanted. Upon arriving the restaurant smelled like dirty diapers & I was brushed aside while everyone else was paying. My pancakes looked like regurgitated blueberry bird poop, my eggs & hash browns looked like they went on a roller coaster ride before they were bagged & handed to me as they were slung all around in the box I received. Despite all of this I didn’t pay over $ 13 (which is ridiculous for one persons breakfast) to not eat it so I did & I regret it. Diarrhea all day. Did I mention some of the staff (especially one lady) was very rude? I understand this place isn’t supposed to be a 5-​Star restaurant. I get it but come on… this is beyond ridiculous & I WILL NOT be back. Ever. I suggest if you don’t want to crap your brains out all day don’t eat here.

Terrible service every time I go… They take forever to serve you weather there’s several people dining or the place is full. Went there today and waited well over 30 minutes for my food. Went to the bathroom and BOTH urinals were out of order and the bathroom smelled like a sewage.

We’ve been going here for about 2 years. The service depends on the service staff. I’ve had them be slammed but our server was excellent in making sure we didn’t get drink refills or extra crayons for the little one. Yeah it can be slow if its a busy morning rush, if there is ever a problem they are great about fixing it. My only complain is they changed the free wifi! I know thats kinda dumb, but cell service sucks in that town. Just kinda ruined my morning.

I don’t care what the rest of this experience may be, the woman behind the kitchen counter said «someone will be right with you and it sure won’t be me.»

I’ve been going to this Denny’s since I was a kid «back when it was on 3^rd street» and now I take my kids there. The service in the day time is always awesome. I always like going in when «Mary» the hostess is working because she has been there forever and watch me grow up and now is getting to see my kids grow up. You would’nt think that a chain like Denny’s would be such a household word but it really is in my family. The late night servers could be a little better, I guess thats why they work the late night shifts. but either way the food is awesome all the time and Denny’s is priced just right if you are treating your whole family.

Friday or Saturday night, Denny’s was the thing to do. Get a chicken basket or brunch at 2:30 am just after the bars closed. Still located in a prime spot with a huge parking lot.
