Elmo & Linda’s needs to realize it’s time to close the doors. Four of us went for lunch and each of us ordered something different I had the caprese salad and the tomatoes were not good, another person had the wild rice & pecan salad it didn’t even look appetizing when served the person that got the cottage pie said it was just ok. Before we were half way through our meal the waitress asks what we wanted for dessert. We asked what time do you close she said 3:00 we were wondering since it was 1:45 with no other customers in the place what was the rush. We won’t be back…

Very cute and quaint addition to Winter Haven’s historic downtown scene. Staff was very welcoming, Linda herself even greeted us at the door. With the recent passing of Elmo there isn’t anymore literal tableside magic however the waiting staff did have a magic-esque feel about their menu presentation. Love the idea of daily specials on top of their extensive menu, though a few components lacked seasoning dishes as a whole were delicious. Will definitely return for lunch and tea.

Elmo and Linda have been serving customers in Winter Haven for many years. Their recent move into downtown has really given them the boost they needed. Their menu is intimate but the food is amazing. The food is very nearly displayed on the plate in a gourmet arrangement, which gives it the feel of a five star restaurant without the five star price. Linda is on hand to greet each guest and everyone is treated like family. A must do in downtown Winter Haven!
