I was vacationing in the Orlando area and fell completing destroying one lens in my glasses. Located 29⁄20 and they were able to make me new glasses. It took only two hours from walking in the door to leaving with new glasses. Could not have been more pleased.

This place is cheaper than most other places, but the service is a little off. I think I went on a bad day– they were implementing a new system and clearly training new employees.

Do not make the same mistake I did. Do your research, if I had seen these ratings, reviews and Better Business Bureau summary. I would not have shopped here. 20⁄20 Eyeglass superstore is the epitome of what happens when used car sales techniques and shady business practices get rolled in with optical care. I asked for a refund within 72hrs as per the ad that is advertised on Unilocal.the manager would only offer me a $ 30 refund and cancellation of one pair on a purchase of $ 179 for two pair. the service was only good up until they take your money, after that they could care less if you are a repeat customer.

There are some negative reviews on here about this place, but I can’t say that I relate to any of them. I’ve been coming here for my optical needs for about 8 years now, and I’ve never had a problem. Sure, they don’t have the fanciest glasses out there, but they do have a pretty wide selection, and you should be able to find something akin to what you’re looking for. For $ 149, you get two pairs of glasses(buy one, get one free) and an eye exam. My vision is gradually getting worse, so I have to come in for an exam at least once a year to update my prescription. I’ve been in here on weekends and weekdays, and I’ve never had to wait long. Longest I’ve had to wait was maybe around 15 minutes, but you can schedule an appointment if you have a busy day ahead of you. If you’re just coming in for an adjustment or something, somebody is usually right there to help you once you walk in. The eye doctors have all been nice and informative. They tell you exactly what each test is for and are pretty friendly. The employees on the floor are also very friendly. They can help you narrow your search down for frames, and they helpfully explain the different types of lenses you can get.

I had been a customer of 20⁄20 EyeGlass store for over 5 years. My most recent experience visit is why I’m now a former customer. I I had my annual contact lens eye exam on 6÷20÷14 and my doctor was not available. His manager did my exam and I explained to him my issues I was having with my vision. I had been having issue seeing my laptop screen and my projector screen. The manager gave me my contact prescription and things seemed fined that day. I went on vacation for 7 days shortly afterwards but still noticed my vision was off. I assumed my recent contact prescription may have been wrong so I went back to 20⁄20 EyeGlass SuperStore and detailed these persisting issues with George, the store«manager». He heard my current issues and pulled my chart. He had an «aha» moment and said my chart was noted that due to my age(just turned 40), my near sight vision was changing. The doctor who examed me noted this in the chart but DIDNOT tell me this! I went around for weeks prior trying to figure out why my vision hadn’t improved since my recent contact lens visit. George assured me I just needed readers and I would be fine. I saw my original doctor during this visit and he confirmed this near sight change was noted in my chart and said he didn’t know why NOONE told me about this change they noted in my vision. He told me to get some generic readers from Sams or CostCo and I should be fine. I took his answer as the best advice since he is the doctor. I went to Sams and searched for some readers. I awkwardly tested my vision with the reader tool in the store to find the ones that worked best for me. I took them home and soon realized they didn’t correct my vision properly. Upon returning these readers at Sams, one of the employees helped me and asked a simple insightful question, «Why didn’t the doctor do an exam to tell me the strength I needed?» I later called 20⁄20 EyeGlass Superstore and explained my current issues. The technician explained the doctor would see me for $ 40 exam fee. I asked why since the majority of my issues were caused by the omission of telling me about my near sight vision. I visited 20⁄20 EyeGlass superstore on 8÷16÷14 and talked with George directly. I was displeased by his answers to my questions regarding my experience. He seemed more content with excuses than actually listening. I told him I wanted the exact contact prescription per eye to help with my current situation. During the eye exam, the doctor gave me a prescription to fit the weakest eye for both eyes. They have done this in the past but considering my changing vision, I wanted the exact prescription. George tried to tell me why this wouldn’t rectify my issue. I calmly told him, he wasn’t a doctor and I wanted to try to mitigate my current issues so I could see clearly. He started giving me more contact options about what could be done. Frustrated, I told him to give me my prescription so I could find a doctor and office that would hear me instead of having a manager trying to make more money off of THEIR mistake! I left after asking my last question. I inquired why wasn’t I given an eye exam so I would know what strength of readers to get. I wasted time going to Sam’s twice because I didn’t have this information. George gave me a canned response stating typically you start with the lowest strength, blah, blah… Totally NOT hearing what I told him. I walked away from him at this point and will not give them anymore of my business.

Lured in with a two for one, I was talked into progressive lens, original bill for two glasses come up to $ 600, so I made changes to my choices. I returned to pick up the glasses, out of focus, it distorted my vision and they were impossible to wear, I sent them back in to have them redone and when I got them back 2nd time they were uncomfortable and blurry, they made the prescription stronger supposedly, I still couldn’t see out of them. I sent it back and said forget about your progressive lenses you can’t get it right, just give me the bifocal lenses. 3 rd time I returned to pick up the glasses and I couldn’t see anything past 6 inches from my face, I requested a new exam and sent the glasses back. finally when I return 4th time to pick up the glasses they were done right but they didn’t give me the invisible line lens. I was expecting a refund going from a more expensive lens to a cheaper lens, that didn’t happen. Unfortunately I will never step foot in this establishment ever again and I will never advise anybody to use this establishment. I had to fight tooth and comb to get what I needed and if you’re not ready for a fight your not going to get what you need or are paying for. I normally read all reviews before I use an establishment, shame on me I didn’t do it this time. I hope this helps you make your decisions.

The policy of this franchise is customer service, what is that!!! They managed to break my glasses during an in house adjustment. I changed into my sunglasses when I got home. When I picked up my glasses to change into them one of the arms fell off. One of the internal hooks that held them on was broken. I visited the store in orange city. This is where I bought them and the adjustment took place. Immediately the woman accused me of sitting on them! I explained to her this was not true and if so why was nothing else damaged. She insisted they don’t break glasses. If I needed them fixed it would cost me 39 $. I told her it was not my fault and why would they not TAKE responsibility for their action? She again said I must have sat on them!!! I went to their website and filled out an online complaint. The online reply was a rep would contact me within 48 hrs. Since then it has been four days!!! NORESPONSETODATE BUYERBEWARE!!!

I was billed $ 352.00 for a «free“exam and new lenses. When they came in they were out of focus-no good. 20 – 20 would not refund or credit my visa unless I agreed to a 25% restocking fee. It took over 4 hours and a talk with the owner and I still had to agree to a $ 39.00 exam fee to get a credit. I got the same lenses(graduated bifocal transition) for $ 253.00 elsewhere. Buyer beware.

So, I was lured in by their«buy one, get one free» deal. Apparently they have about 30 thousand different deals, because when I sat down with the salesperson(there’s a problem right there — a salesperson) she grabbed a scratch piece of paper and started doodling different numbers and different deals and saying things like, «…but if you get the upgraded lens then I’ll take care of you.» After the usual dark room, puff-in-the-eyes tests with the assistant, the doctor took me in for my exam. He made me look through a total of 3 different lenses and had me read the chart, then sent me on my way. I was a little nervous about how quickly he wrapped it up. Hopefully it’s just because my eyes haven’t changed much since my last exam, and he read the Rx off my glasses. Within 3 hours, I had my 2 new pairs(sunglasses and regular glasses). I was very impressed by how quickly they had them ready. The price wasn’t so bad, but I wish I didn’t feel like I had walked into a used car lot. Summary: good selection of frames, awful salespeople, decent prices, quick turnaround.

How are you going to beat $ 129 for a pair of bifocal glasses with the exam? At $ 129 they may not be the latest trend or the best looking thing on the market, but if you need glasses that work well when you don’t have much money this is the place to go. The selection is interestingly larger than you might expect too. I would recommend getting an appointment or else you might be there waiting a while.
