Great coffee and, hey, it’s not a starbucks. It’s kind of a relief to go to a coffee place that is not Starbucks. That aside it is sincerely and actually very good coffee. Not only do I buy it there hot and by the cup but I purchase coffee beans here to grind at home as well.

Went with the family for breakfast all the way from Celebration and I have to say that it was defenetly worth the trip and we’ll be doing it again soon. The food is unbelievable and the service is great. The coffee is amazing too. Highly recommended.

One of my favorite spots on Park Ave to have a light-meal/good coffee and read books. The staff are mostly nice.

I am visiting Orlando for the week and I always try to search out awesome coffee places. Barnie’s did not disappoint! Lived up to its reputation. I had a cappuccino and then went back later for an affogato because I’d always wanted to try it. Both were excellent! The service was fast and the staff is very nice. The seating area is relaxed and there’s a nice patio out back with a fountain. If you need a book to read while you enjoy a coffee try out the Writer’s Block bookstore around the corner or the rare books bookstore across the patio.

Fantastic stop for a quick brunch. The iced coffee was perfect for the rising temps. The frittata was delicious and I couldn’t get enough of the bacon. Our waitress was friendly and the outdoor seating was perfect for people watching.

We read the great reviews, and wanted to try this place for breakfast. We sat at a table and waited while employees milled about the place. After a while we changed our minds and decided to just go to the counter and order coffee & pastries since evidently we were invisible to the staff and didn’t want to wait until lunchtime to be served. The gentleman at the register seemed annoyed and wanted to carry on a conversation with a patron rather than take my order. So he asked the lady next to him to take over, however she was busy trying to get the attention of another patron in the restaurant yelling«hey Mike» over & over and waiving. We were finally able to order and eventually get our coffee & pastries which we enjoyed. However, the poor service here will probably keep us from returning in the future which is unfortunate as it had very high potential.

Came here to quickly grab a cup of pour over coffee. Probably the most expensive cup of coffee(without cream, milk, half-half or sugar) that I’ve had. We were quickly greeted and asked how they could help. Juan and I both wanted pour over coffee, straight. No sugar, no nothing. I asked for their light roast, which was Kona Coffee and a small cup was $ 7.00. Jeez! All and all, coffee was ok, it hit the spot and we hanged on their outside seating for a while. We are definitely thinking of coming here for brunch in the near future. We just have to save some money! Lol!

I came here for a quick coffee so I can’t comment on the food. Although it did look great from what I saw! I ordered a latte with a pump of caramel and my fiancé ordered a dirty Venezuelan hot chocolate(hot chocolate with a shot of espresso). I was seriously impressed with my latte. It is one of the best lattes I’ve had in Orlando! My fiancé’s hot chocolate was great! It was small though(don’t expect a regular sized cup), smaller than a small sized latte but it was amazing. It’s a thick hot chocolate with an amazing coffee flavor! Overall, this place is a great for a quick coffee pit stop when walking around Park Ave! I was more than impressed with the quality of their drinks and the service was quick and the barista was very sweet! I will definitely be stopping here whenever I’m on Park Ave again.

We were walking down the winter park strip when we came across this hidden gem. We dined in their outdoor patio where there seemed to be filming of a commercial in progress. Quick glamce at the menu and we decided to grab some breakfast as well. A pitcher of mango mimosa, belgian waffles, frittata and a cup of turkish coffee. Yum yum yum! If you’re looking to catch up with an old friend, read a book while enjoying a cup of joe or just some good breakfast/brunch grub… I highly recommend Barnie’s over the corporate Starbucks down the block. They even roast their own beans. Support local businesses!

This place has never failed me. The coffee is always right and the food is always consistent. I went in on Sunday for breakfast and it was super packed but the speed and quality of the food and coffee were right on point. I guarantee you can duck duck goose the menu and not be disappointed. They also have a beautiful fountain and courtyard out back. It’s very quaint and relaxing and you get the sense you’re in a colonial Spanish villa. And I almost forgot! If you see the General Manager named Ricky get that guy to sing you happy birthday! I swear he must be classically trained in Opera or something. I once saw him sing happy birthday and he had half the restaurant in tears. Food, service, people, ambiance, all amazing. Go! And be pleased!

I am a huge coffee and espresso lover, so when I walked in front of Barnie’s I was thrilled to smell the roasted coffee aroma! When I first walked in, I was beyond excited to see the variety of brewing options as well as the variety of food! I love the experience of being able to sit down, have a great small bite paired perfectly with a cup of coffee or a glass of beer. The service is great, even if you are just grabbing a cup to go, which I do very often! They are now serving savory, perfectly flakey plain croissants or the chocolate ones, which are just delicious and melt in you mouth! My favorite drink is the double espresso macchiato with a plain croissant, it’s the perfect mix-mornings pick me up! What ever your choice of coffee brewing is, you will love it here! I do like the coffee here way more than Starbucks! I wish they had more convenient locations throughout Orlando.

I have been here before for coffee but had never actually dined at this location. I have been to Barnie’s in the past but was never really amazed by the food choices. Well since then a guy joined a foodie group I help to manage and has been prodding me to come check out the food Barnie’s now offers. Today I finally managed to drop by and he was in the kitchen so after finally getting to meet face to face I told him to select what he thought we’d like and good bad or indifferent I will share my experience with the group. I never told him I would also post a review on Unilocal… I will stick to the food alone since I know the chef because odds are the staff is going to cater to me differently after knowing the chef was in charge of my food choices. He sent us out a starter of the Lamb Meatballs. They are topped with tomato sauce, goat cheese and salsa verde. I would love to say there was something to nit pick but there wasn’t. There was a nice crust on the meatballs, they were perfectly cooked. The tomato sauce and salsa verde went beautifully with it and the bread that was paired with it was a perfect match. Next up was the Tacos de Carnitas and one word describes them… WOW I have been to Mexican restaurants that could not make the Tacos de Carnita this good. The pork was flavorful and very tender. There was just the right amount of toppings to bring the flavors together. Well done. Last up was the Caprese Sandwich with a side of the pickled veggies. The rosemary Foccacia was delicious and toasted just right. The tomatoes and mozzarella were fresh and flavorful but the pesto was the hidden star. I have to say that it was better than my own pesto so I will have to find out what his secret is. The pickled veggies were beet/pickles/onion and my wife only managed one bite. The pickles tasted like the bread and butter pickles my aunt used to make when I was a small boy. I took a sip of mama’s Latte and as usual, Barnie’s has the latte thing down pat. That is the main reaso I have gone to Barnie’s in the past. Up until today I would have passed by and not given them a second thought on their food choices but today’s experience gave me a reason to dine here for lunch moving forward. I am glad the food turned out to be on point because as much as it would have pained me… If there had been issues, I would not have sugarcoated it one iota. I made that clear to him long ago when he first invited me here. I encourage you to stop by and try their food for yourself before the menu changes. I did let him know that removing the items he served us is NOT recommended. But what do I know… I am just a food addict anyway… A Florida Foodie

This place is busy! I enjoyed spending two hours here, but I don’t suggest that. On a weekend, it’s not a place to come study or have a long chat with a friend. There’s always a line and always people waiting for a table. However, we had a server that was so patient and nice. The Turkish Latte is fabulous, and their food is amazing too. I love the location in Winter Park and hope to come back at a less busy time!

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet as I go here all the time! The best coffee in Winter Park for sure. Customer service is outstanding. Ambiance is the best you’ll find in Orlando(hello, it’s WP!) Menu items are all wonderfully delicious and creative. If you’re strolling through Park Avenue, definitely give this place a try. You’ll notice it’s always packed.

Got a chance to sample one of the NEWMENU lunch items before it started raining. Fall comfort food taken up a level. risotto made with DUCK confit, local mushrooms, and green beans…“just can’t use the term haricots verts for green beans«. Server Johnny was excellent and very attentive to all people and pets. Once again not disappointed and looking forward to trying the new Sunday brunch menu for the Duck and Sweet Potato Hash

A coffeehouse where not only serves coffee, it indulges and gratifies your gastronome demands and oenophile taste buds. What more could one ask for? This place is my go to for Sunday brunch. It is located right on Park Avenue and the perfect place to relax on a Sunday afternoon. There is a lot of outside patio seating in a quaint courtyard with a water fountain. From brunch to dinner and dessert, I have had the pleasure of dining at Barnie’s Coffee Kitchen on numerous occasions — a place where I can leisurely sip a freshly brewed cup of coffee, nosh on some delicious and locally prepared dishes, and relax with my dog(the waiters are always dog friendly and would bring out the water bowl right away). The menu change so often but the core items I love there are: The Turkish Latte. It is espresso and milk combined with cardamom — it was warm, spicy, bold, and oh so perfect to start out the day. The Acai Energy Bowl is filled with organic almond milk smoothie served with banana, Greek yogurt, and granola. It is always a good start to a meal and it is served with freshly baked croissant and house made preserve. In addition, the weekly chef’s dinner menu is available on Fridays and Saturday evenings. It is filled with seasonal favorite, locally source ingredients.

I have been needing to try Barnie’s. I walk by it on Park Ave and always make mental note to come back when I’m hungry or need a good caffeine buzz. I know it is a chain but I am a Barnie’s newbie. Last Sunday was the day and it was oh so worth the wait. Wish I hadn’t waited so long to try it! Great for Brunch, breakfast, but even lunch or early dinner! They have nice food and coffee offerings to suit almost any taste. Sunny fall day on park ave under an umbrella. Cappuccino in hand. People and puppy watching. Lovely way to start your day off right. Our coffees and meals were great.

Kind of a hidden gem, especially for those of us who grew up in Florida and primarily knew Barnie’s as a small chain of coffee shops that specialized in flavors like Santa’s White Christmas. They still do coffee, in the form of pour-overs and flat whites and lattes(and, yes, White Christmas in season) but also have some serious food game. The Park Ave location has indoor seating but I recommend the ambience of their beautiful courtyard that takes you away from the street bustle. We regularly end up here for brunch, with our corgi in tow, after visiting the Winter Park Farmer’s Market. I love the eggs benedict and the belgian waffles — though on my last visit they let me know the waffles were going to be replaced with lemon curd pancakes which I’m eager to try. Another new introduction is a mimosa bar, with flavors like watermelon mint, tart cherry and of course the classic orange.

This is a very nice Barnie’s located in Winter Park. The standout here is the lovely courtyard, where you can have your coffee or lunch out in the nice Florida weather. There’s a water fountain, and behind it are some other interesting local businesses. The only issue here is one of space(which I assume is an issue all up and down Park Ave). So there’s a chance you may not be able to get an outside table right away on busy days. In any case, the menu here is great. The Eggs Benedict is an organic dish featuring toasted brioche, two eggs, pancetta, spinach, and a helping of hollandaise sauce. Delicious. I also had the Belgian Waffles which comes with a small jar of maple syrup on the side and strawberries(and blueberries) on top. Also pretty amazing. Their pour over coffee is fabulous. You have to try it. Superior to anything at that other chain. I’ll be back.

4 stars for a delish mid-afternoon pick-me-up. I heard some great things about his particular Barnie’s and I was in the area on a nice spring day. Upon entering it was pretty busy for a Friday afternoon with both indoor and outdoor seating. Every seat indoors was taken, so my friend and I sat outdoor. I decided on the Chai Tea Latte, 16oz. and my friend ordered the iced coffee mocha. The cashier asked if it was for here or to go, and we said for here, and luckily found a seat near the fountain under an umbrella. The chai tea latte was delish… I really enjoyed the fact that it was served in a real mug with spoon, always a little better than a paper cup. The price wasn’t bad either. You can’t beat a great atmosphere and great coffee/tea. I can’t wait to go back! P. S. Although I didn’t order any food, it looked like some nice food options.
