The best service I have ever had. Everyone is so friendly and amazing. If you are thinking about going here, just do it. I went here on a whim and I have never been so satisfied with this decision.

I love this place! It’s small but resourceful. It’s mostly quiet and has great and friendly staff that are very helpful with what you need. They have games and cards all over the spectrum from old Pokémon cards to Magic and even card games that you would’ve never guessed like Tanto Cuore!(Really fun Japanese maid card game)

Wound up Cool Stuff for a Pokemon tournament with the girl. Friendly staff and knowledgeable about how to accommodate 75 Pokemon players at once. Apparently this store is a frequent tournament home with players who participate in a variety of card games almost daily. If you have cards you want to sell(or buy) the store has a few computers in the back where you can sort through buy and sell lists. Who knew that people still played card games like Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic? Cool Stuff knew, and seem to have built a nice business from it with a store here as noted, and in Maitland. The Geek Squad(the real one, not the Best Buy marketing) that works here can definitely get your card game in order for you(yes, I saw senior citizens playing Pokemon) and your kids.

AMAZING when it comes to board game selection and price. I’ve moved out of state, and I still buy stuff from there with free shipping and now it’s tax free for me :) Lovely Lovely! Their board game night on Weds is very nice; they have a selection of board games you can try out – and I think you can try out any of the ones they have in stock – you just ask the people at the counter. Staff generally leave you alone, which I think is what most people want there :) You can sit with your friends, play some games, chat, have a nice time!

Cool stuff has now moved its shop a few stores down, and now occupies the corner store facing Aloma avenue. The space is much bigger and mostly caters to people who play Magic or Dungeons and Dragons and other role playing games. There’s several long tables and chairs so people can play in the store(they even sell snacks in case you’re there for a while). However, on today’s visit I realized they had an entire room dedicated to boardgames, and I’m not talking Monopoly here. They had games blessed by Mensa, imported from abroad, based on films/books, and some other random independent games(i.e. Catan, Carcassone, Battle Star Galactica, Chez Geek, etc.). Definitely a good place to visit for their events, and my reason for going… their boardgame selection! However, this store does not have very many collectible items, no posters, no movies, or comics, etc.

I had a very good experience with Coolstuffinc’s staff and their website. I ended up ordering $ 100 of games with another friend in order to get free shipping and the games came promptly and in good condition(shipped to NYC). If you want your games to arrive by the weekend, I suggest ordering early on Tuesday and get the free shipping by ordering with buddies. What really made me think this place was good is the following situation we had. I called them up to ask to see what sleeves were good for Race For The Galaxy. I was told to buy the Euro sleeves which ended up being the incorrect size. At first I was a little upset but I called them up and explained the situation to them. They shipped me replacement sleeves that fit and helped to correct the situation. These guys definitely are worth ordering from and provide good service. I could have definitely gotten screwed over in my situation since a lot of on-line retailers are known for being rather impersonal. In this case their service really was a cut above the rest.

A little hole in the wall… When I say that this place is small… I mean it. CoolStuffInc is primarily an online merchant but this little store is their base of operations. They have lots of cool stuff, and there always seems to be people hanging out, talking shop, and of course playing magic or tabletop RPGs. The Good: Oh so white and nerdy: If you feel like tapping into your nerdy side, this place really has you covered. You’ve got warcraft stuff, star wars stuff, and plenty of Magic: The Gathering decks. Whatcha doin’ tonight?: This place has plenty of events, and every night there are different game tournaments and causual play. It’s a great way to go out if you are more game inclined, and hanging out with friends and playing games is super-fun! And best of all… it’s free! The Bad: Niche Categories: There really isn’t much in this store for casual players or fans. Even though they sell Star Wars stuff, it’s all relegated to the tabletop RPG games, so it’s not like you’ll find any collectible or memorabilia here. CoolStuff Inc is a preety awesome place, and if you’re into the RPG or Magic scene, then you probably already know about this place. If not, you should! Overall 8.6/10= Cool Stuff Indeed!
