I ended up pulling the trigger on the boots. Ordered them from Nick over the phone, had them shipped home. They are bomb! Thanks bro! Feb 2016– These dudes continue to deliver!!! Had an issue with the boots I ordered and was gonna have to take in for warranty. Emailed to get proof of purchase and they dug it up out of nowhere to make make sure I was covered. Late at night too! They said if I have an issue just have the company contact them and they will confirm the sale for me. You can’t go wrong with these Bro’s! If only I got treated so well everywhere I shopped!

I wish this place was in my town! Not a corporate chain, which is refreshing. I needed to replace my 15 year old snowboard boots and had no clue about all the improvements in technology. I’m an «older» female boarder(52), and not up on the brand names and lingo – which change year by year. Nick was my patient guide through the process and thoroughly explained the choices in the many boots, history about the companies, product reviews and recommendations. He demonstrated the many functions and provided many details about the boot I ended up purchasing. Super cool and straight forward communicator. I never felt like he was trying to sell me anything, and was fine giving me the time I needed to make a decision. Great guy and great store!

I only wish there were more stars to award. I am in California. I recently broke a buckle on my Drake binding. When I looked up Drake, the only shop I could find in the Western US that carried them was Divide. I contacted them and was amazed at the service I got. Nick wrote back almost immediately. I sent him a picture of the binding and he let me know he had the part. Within 2 days an envelop arrived with not one, but two buckles. I put one on to replace the broken one and it hung up when I tried to release it. I wrote Divide and Nick, once again, responded immediately. Most shops at that point would have told me to buy new bindings, but Nick did not. He thought it may be a strap problem, so, he offered to send new ones(free of charge). I was amazed. A couple of days later, two new straps arrived. That solved the problem. All in all, Nick and the other folks at Divide spent way too much time and effort in solving a problem around a very small sale. I can only imaging how they would treat you if you bought something big. Divide has gained a loyal, long distance customer. I cannot recommend them enough.

If you know you’re riding style, these guys will help you find a board that works for you. Super friendly small business. Not the largest selection, but it’s still an awesome store. Nothing but high recommendations for these guys!

This Joint is the best board shop in the area! the staff are friendly and know everything about their product lines! Also have sick prices and clearance section! I came in for gloves and ended up grabbing a bunch of sick gear. 5 stars!

I’m not your typical snowboarder. Almost 50-yrs old, female, lawyer, no «dude» lingo. A lot of shops talk down to your atypical snowboarders. But the folks in Divide do not. They share their knowledge, offer suggestions, and let you play with their cute shop dogs(Mayhem and Bella). I was having problems with my boots(purchased at REI), and they helped me heat-mold them for a very tiny fee. They also repaired the broken laces for a very tiny fee. Neither time did they try to push me to buy new boots(although i clearly need them soon!). And when i asked about rocker vs. canter(more of that lingo i don’t get), one of the staffers offered to let me take her board out to try it. Her board was too small for me, and they didn’t have my size in any of the demo boards, so they just opened a brand new board and gave it to me for the day. For a very tiny fee. Of course, they must’ve known i’d love the board, and return at the end of the day to buy it! ;-) But still, it’s amazing, in this day and age, that shops like this still exist. They deserve your support!

Was trying to kill some time before taking the Amtrak out of town and walked into this nice little board shop. Dude was friendly and talkative but wasn’t hovering or being annoying like can sometime happen in small shops. The shop has some cool clothes that you won’t see at any of the other shops in town. They also had 30 – 40 boards in stock(all sizes, shapes and styles) if you’re looking for new wood. Didn’t end up buying anything, but next time I’m back in town I’ll be making another visit.

Visited in March, 2010. Divide Snowboard shop sells the usual array of fun to vomit-inducing snowboard fashion. They’ve got some smaller brands, but didn’t carry Burton brands when visiting in March, 2010(not as though it matters, there’s better brands out there!). From goggles to helmets to boots to bindings, Divide is a full-service snowboard shop. They even carried an audio cable for my Bern helmet.
