Went in today, not sure what to expect. Came out feeling full and very happy after an amazing meal. The boyfriend and I both had Gyros with the basket meal. My side was beans and victor had potato salad. the gyro, HUGE and with TONS of meat. It was extremely filling and I even had a hard time finishing anything of mine. I had the beans last and they were still very hot and steamy when i opened my little side cup. Everyone there was very friendly as well. Definitely will be going back!

Firstly I will preface that I’m originally from NYC. My husband has the Chicago stripes & knows the real deal as well. When this place first opened, he was excited about two things:(1) Italian Beef;(2) close to the home;(3) good hot dogs. We’ve gone there several times & the food/service were just OK. However today’s experience was enough for us to say«never coming back.» We went today because we wanted something quick & tasty. Hot Dogs are usually the perfect answer to that question if you are trying to avoid the chains. The girl behind the counter didn’t ring us up correctly — we asked for debit vs. credit. Admittedly that’s not a big deal but it bothered my husband that she didn’t listen to his request. Then she forgot to ring up our FOUNTAIN drinks. Notice I used the word fountain — not cans, not bottles. Fountain where the profit margins are higher & the employees drink for free. We were in a rush as I had to get back to work. My husband said«listen, can’t you just throw the medium drinks in for free, we’re in a hurry.» One of the owners(believe the wife) was behind the counter. Apparently didn’t like that idea and then rang up the drinks and then they ran it though as credit AGAIN. Frankly tossing in the fountain drinks for the Agida of having an incompetent kid behind the counter, making us wait even longer for food because it was more important to get the additional $ 3.50 from us. I didn’t know business was so bad that good service or consideration for wasting our time was taken into account. Unfortunately this pissed my husband off. The fact that his request as to who to run his card was ignored, then we had to deal with the kid not knowing how to run cards through or use the register, the back & forth of figuring out what to do about the $ 3.50 for our drinks and then having to wait for our food to be made… and then charging us… it was petty in my opinion. The end result we won’t be back. Their dogs were alright given the proximity. But the aggravation, the petty charging us after they made several mistakes — no thanks. Next time we want a hot dog, we are going to Hot Dog Heaven. Never had a problem there, they are fast & I bet you we would have been in/out in the time it took us to get our food at Noah’s.

This place is as real as it gets when you’re looking for Chicago food. Their beefs are second to none and the Chicago Dog is amazing. They even have a deep dish pizza! If you’re looking to get a taste of Chicago stop by Noah’s Red hots. This Chicagoan couldn’t be happier.

The«real deal»! Unlike many other reviewers, I lived in Chicago for many years and it’s not that I know what Chicago Dogs and Italian Beef sandwiches are supposed to taste like… I crave them! Having recently moved here from New England where there is no semblance of this kind of food, I consider myself extremely fortunate to have happened upon Noah’s! (Which wasn’t easy as they don’t pop-up in typical searches for hot dogs, etc. like many other places do AND the GPS and Google references seem rather skewed.) I have tried all the other competition and as I say, these guys are the real deal and produce an authentic product. In the case of their Italian Beef, it passes the literal sniff test of still being able to smell the divine juice on your hands an hour later… even after washing! The proprietors are from Chicago so it’s really no surprise that they get it right. Not so with the competition — some come close and some just don’t get it at all! It’s sad that I’ll probably never get to try anything else on their menu as the Dogs and Beefs are so bloody addictive! The only bad thing about Noah’s is that they’re too close to my house and I have to force myself NOT to go there everyday or I’d probably double my weight!

We decided to try this place out as we saw a coupon in the BOGO magazine for BOGO hot dog or 10% off your bill. To be honest the only other Chicago Dogs I’ve ever had are from Hot Dog Heaven and Italian Beefstro… Noah’s serves the same Vienna Beef Hot Dog, bun, and toppings that the other places do, and if you order a basket combo with your dog(add 3 $) it includes a medium fountain drink(free refills), a TONNNNNN of fries, and a side dish of coleslaw, potato, salad, macaroni salad, or baked beans. Also, each order is made fresh to order(so expect to wait a bit). The food was good, and tasted just like the dogs I’ve had at the aforementioned hot dog joints… and unlike Hot Dog Heaven they’re open later AND you get drink refills which is great when you need to wash down all those salty hot delicious fries they pile into your basket! For 13 $(before the coupon) my hubs and I ate one Chicago basket and one Polish Basket… Not bad for a cheap date :)

The Gyros are great, they have great fries, and the dogs are awesome, no beans in their chili which makes for awesome dogs. Also I just stopped in for a Philly the other day and I was surprised, it was good, not special, but not bad either, Im not a fan of canned mushrooms in my sandwiches but for a quick sandwich I was happy. It was good and I ate every last bite. But I can’t say I would order it again. Ill stick to the dogs and the gyros. Maybe they should too!

Ok. I’m a fan. I tried Noah’s today for lunch and it really isn’t bad. I mean it’s a standard crapshack hot dog joint, but the owners are from Chicago and really give it that feel. I went with the Chicago dog to see if it would be any good, and though I’ve never had a dog in Chicago, I can say it was decent. Hey I can compare it to a photo of a dog I’ve seen, right? It wasn’t gigantic but it wasn’t too small. The portion of fries was also good. I left full but not disgusted. The décor is nothing to stick a shake at that’s for sure, but hey, it’s a hot dog joint, not fine dining. The food is good, service is fast and friendly and the prices are fair. I’ll certainly go back and if you haven’t checked it out yet and you’re in the mood for a dog(in natural casing, mind you) then get yourself on over. It’s kinda hidden next to the Lube & Oil place.

They have only been open for a week, but they have already earned a customer for life. Great service, nice menu, awesome tasting food! Their specialty is Hot Dogs. Anyway you want it, you get it. They also have a few other items on the menu such as Gyros, and a couple other snack foods. Reasonably priced and as I said great tasting. My only complaint so far is the A/C seemed to be out of service or not really working well, so you might want to take your food to go until they get that fixed.
