I broke from my Publix routine to swing by and check out this place. My first impression walking through the door was«Get out». I was welcomed by the smell of either nail polish or fresh paint, neither of which was apparent. The store is dimly lit, and honestly kind of spooky. The staff on the other hand, were very helpful, and understanding when i asked if they were running a haunted house. They would be the only reason i would return. As far as groceries, they didnt offer anything too special, or recommendable, if you already shop at Publix, id stick to it. I give it three stars only for the staff who took care of business.

Not a bad Winn Dixie. Some of the selections are a bit limited. I think I’m just spoiled by Publix. The times I’ve been, this location hasn’t been busy and the check out line was short. I usually look for their buy one, get one free deals.

Way overpriced. $ 2.79 for Hormel Compleats? I can get them for $ 2.50 at Publix or at Wal*Mart, for only $ 2.00. Maybe the prices are so high because of the fact that this was a former Gooding’s. With Publix across the street and Target right next door, it’s a wonder how they’re still open. On the plus side, they have a bigger deli than most Winn-Dixie’s, featuring huge pickles. Their fried chicken was also fresh, unlike other Winn-Dixie’s, which sell old, cold and dried out chicken.

This is definitely not my favorite grocery store. It could be cleaner and as for the employees, it’s very hit or miss as far as friendliness and helpfulness is concerned. Winn Dixie does have some incredible deals each week, often in their meat department. The problem is they are either completely out of the sale item or the stock is horrid. Mostly I shop here for items we run out of quickly such as bread, milk, eggs, etc. It’s convenient because it is very close to home. However, when grocery shopping, I avoid this Winn Dixie and head over to Publix or, if I’m feeling ready to brave the masses of people, Walmart.

Horrible chain with very bad employees and there store is not clean or well stocked. No wonder they were in bankruptcy. you are better of shopping at PUBLIX, better service and cleaner stores.
