My wife wanted sushi for her birthday and Nagoya is close to our house so we decided to give it a try. We were immediately given a booth. Less than a minute and our waitress was already greeting us and taking our drink orders. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and delicious even my 3 y/o thought so, saying«this is so delicious». The waitress overheard us saying that it was my wife’s birthday and when she brought us the check she also brought out a dessert with a candle. Without a doubt this is our new favorite sushi place.

Came in for dinner. Ordered the spicy chicken and told the server I was gonna place a order to go but on separate checks. It took a while for the food to come out. Service was real slow. When it finally came out, I told the server I will place the take out order now since they was slow bring out the food. The spicy chicken was delicious but no where near spicy. More sweet than spicy but still enjoyed it. It did take a while for the take out to come to me. She brought me the two tabs and she screwed them up. But I kinda expected since she spoke soso English. The food there is always good, never had anything bad. Just need to work on the service part. I will go back.

Hands down best sushi I have ever had. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get good fresh sushi. My wife loves how fresh it is! I am all in!

Do not be misled by good reviews! I read them and decided to try Nagoya and was so dissatisfied and disappointed! Went on a Sunday at 6:30pm. We were one of only 2 tables and our 5 rolls took over an hour. The service was awful, food was so expensive and was terrible quality! Seriously do not go here!!! I had to put a star for a rating because I couldn’t put zero, but they deserve negative 5 stars. Nothing about this place was good, not exaggerating! Nagoya is so bad that I setup a Unilocal account just to write this review.

It’s a pretty small place and they are usually packed on the weekend. The servers are genuinely happy to help you and their sushi tastes exactly how a sushi is suppose to taste, haha. I was dissapointed from the udon stir fry as it lacked a zest to it and the noodles tasted as if they were cooked in a hurry. Not a bad place though, 4 star justifies it.

We come to Nagoya whenever we are in Oviedo Fl. Although we are fro Philly we make it a point to try all the new items on the menu and are never disappointed. The Sashimi Deluxe & Loveboat are our favorites today we tried short rib appetizer & the most imaginative seafood on eggplant with fresh spinach appetizer EVER. We think more people would eat eggplant if they tried this dish. Too full for dessert this time.

This is our fourth visit to Nagoya in Winter Springs. Service was terrible. The waiter forgot two rolls which we had written down. Twenty minutes between courses. Waiter was not very attentive. The food was good and hot which was a positive. My wife found a piece of plastic in her soup. Very dissapointed! The manager took everything off the bill which shows ownership in my opinion. We will not be back!

Hands-down the best sushi in Orlando. For such a neighborhood spot to have such great sushi really isn’t a surprise to me. Having lived in Sacramento San Francisco and even Colorado, I’ve gotten to try lots of different Japanese cuisine. Everything is always fresh, consistent, cold which is extremely important when you’re eating raw fish, and delicious! Their Dr. Phillips location is good too but I definitely prefer this one it is much more neighborhood feeling and usually has less people. Unless you’re going to spend the money at kabooki sushi, this is definitely the place to go.

My favorite sushi place to eat at! They always take really good care of their customers. I go maybe once a week or so and I just appreciate the presentation of the food and how fresh the fish always tastes. I definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Nagoya is hands down one of the best sushi restaurants you will find in Orlando. A bit pricey, granted, but worth every cent. The quality of the fish used in each and every roll is absolutely indisputable. I consider myself to be a bit of a sushi connoisseur– and when I say that their nigiri blew me away I don’t say it lightly!(The yellowtail is exceptional!) Now when it comes to the special rolls, my personal favorite will always be the bang bang roll. It is crunchy and smooth at the same time. The flavor is everything you want in sushi packaged into one roll, seriously! The lover roll is another awesome choice that I would highly recommend. My boyfriend and I come here any time we want to spoil ourselves with top-notch sushi, and are never let down. Excellent.

We LOVE Nagoya! Service is always spot on, pricing is reasonable and the rolls are always amazing! Coral Reef, Godfather, and Zesty rolls are our favorites. We are so lucky to have our favorite sushi place so close to home. Try it, you will not be disappointed!

The wife and I bought some gift cards on and decided to finally use one. We looked up some of the places and we came across Nagoya Sushi. I looked them up on Unilocal and say a good review posted by one of the elites that has proven to be accurate in his reviews of other places I have been to that he reviewed. We agreed this was our place to dine this evening… When we arrived, there was a father and son that had just left and they were likely sitting at the sushi bar since there was 2 uncleared spots. The staff quickly cleared everything and we were given menus. The server was very nice and assisted my wife with her Sake selection. Iced tea with lime for me as usual. We looked over the menu and finally decided on several of the sushi options and two of the seafood soups that sounded pretty tasty. We were brought warm towels to clean our hands and shortly after that our drinks arrived. While I was waiting on our drinks I decided to snap off a few pictures since I really liked the décor of this place. If you look at the pictures, you will see that on top of the sushi case there are two serving trays and I can only assume they were from the guests before us because of the food particles on them. To my surprise, the sushi chef put one of the rolls un-sliced rolls we ordered on that dirty plate. I immediately told my wife not to drink any more of her Sake. About 1 minute later, he reaches up and grabs the roll, sets it on the counter in front of him and starts to slice it. I said to my wife we will not be staying and told her to hang on. I motioned over my server and quietly let him know what I just observed and to please cancel our order. We immediately left. They may have very good food for all I know but when I see something like that take place, I leave and never return.

Sunday’s Orgasm roll was worthy of the name. You simply have to try it for yourself. Again and agaiin! Warm, silky yet crunchy and just a hint of heat. I’m so hooked. I’m at a loss why they still offer Groupon and other meal deals. Take advantage of their come on and experience what you’ve been missing. The other two rolls we had ere also very enjoyable. Frankly we have yet to leave wanting for a better experience.

Oddly slow. Ordered two simple roles and salad and 30 minutes in still waiting. Giving 3 stars as I have been here in the past and the sushi has been good. Hoping so tonight but writing review out of boredom. Three people behind the bar so not sure on service. Restaurant is about half full. Sushi bar empty but for me.

Nagoya is my go to sushi place for numerous reasons. First, its close to where I live. Second, their pricing is right in line with what I feel it should be. They have less expensive rolls like spicy tuna, that you would expect for just 6 dollars or so, but they also have the special rolls which range from 10 – 14 dollars. I think they’re right where they should be. Third, their service has always been courteous, efficient and friendly. You are always greeted with a smile. Smiling after each conversation and all that equates to making you feel welcome. Fourth, their sushi is fresh. The rolls are always served at the temperature I expect. The cooked rolls come out hot and the raw rolls are cool. I like their menu, it has a variety of options, even cucumber wrapped rolls, which for healthier options, this is great. I love spicy rolls, they do have a couple, but i wished they had more. You wont be disappointed if you stop in for a roll or two. Give them a shot.

I’ve been here 3 times now, always on a deal of some sort. It’s pretty good– always had great sushi. Wouldn’t come without a deal just because it’s far from me. I really recommend the Crab Rangoon. It’s not overly fried and cooked perfectly. The best part is the wasabi cream dipping sauce it comes with. Great combination I never would have thought of. My boyfriend loves the dipping sauce so much he keeps it for his sushi. We had a fantastic waitress this last time– Christine. Or Christina. She really made us feel extra special!

This place was recommended by some people I work with so of course I had to try it out. It was delicious and not-so-nutritious(yep-spicy mayo)! My gf and I got 2 cooked maki/rolls – the California Snow Crab Roll and the Summer Roll. I thought I would like the snow crab more than the summer roll, but that wasn’t the case. The summer roll is now up there as one of my faves! Summer roll has shrimp, krabmeat, cucumber, rice wrapper drizzled with sesame sauce. YUM! We also go 2 sushi pieces – shrimp and snow crab. The best part is that it’s amazingly fresh and fast. This is by far the fastest place I’ve been to in the Orlando area when it comes to serving sushi. I love fast service ‘cuz I’m usually starving by the time I decide what I want and for them to make it. Service was friendly and great. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the egg fried rice-bland.

Great tuna kabachi. It’s my fav. Inconsistent on everything else. I keep trying to love this place and it seems to let me down every other visit. Tonight was one of those nights. I tried a new roll called the Hot Night roll. It was very bland… Total bummer because it was $ 13. It’s close to home and my son loves their steamed gyoza so we find ourselves there about once a month.

Too good for 4 stars the only thing stopping a raving 5 is the location. I don’t mind eating at a restauarant in a strip mall and more often than not sushi has been tastier in that environment, ‘guess I was in a snotty mood :-) The food was wonderful, sushi was fresh and plentiful, rolls were imaginative and tasty and my favorite unfiltered sake was on the menu. Our waiter was very attentive but not too much and his recommendations hit the spot. I would not hesitate to revisit even if I am in a anti-publix-stripmall mood… hopefully the photo of the golden dancing dragon shows how they roll in Maitland
