Sushi and presentation is fantastic. Service was very good and personal. I will definitely go back to this place.

My family came here to celebrate my brother’s birthday recently. I have to admit that my expectations were low for this tiny place in the same plaza as Dunkin’ Donuts and Tijuana Flats. The inside is small and beautifully decorated. Our server was very knowledgable and had plenty of recommendations. This is a Japanese fusion restaurant, so here are many dishes that you simply won’t see at your traditional sushi place. Though there were many menu options, we stuck with sushi. The Muy Bien roll and Firecracker roll were our favorites. I also loved the Vietnamese roll, which would be great for those wanting something light and fresh. They were also able to make a simple roll with ingredients I requested for my five year old who loves sushi, but can’t handle spice. They also brought over a fried ice cream dessert for my brother after my daughter told our server we were celebrating a birthday. That was a really nice surprise! We will definitely return!

More exotic rolls than i expected. The quality was excellent but I would like to see more variety in their rolls such as eel, various shrimp, maybe a beef. Etc. service was very good too.

Literally the best sushi I have ever eaten. Service was slow during dinner rush but will go back again. Fuji Mountain and Crown Royal rolls are the bomb!

After visiting several Orlando area sushi restaurants in the hopes of finding my go-to spot, my search has finally ended! Customer service, freshness, taste, quality, variety, aesthetics — you name it, Yuki Hana does it best. Our waiter was very attentive and graciously made several recommendations. We started off our dinner with the Bangin’ Shrimp Tempura, complete with caviar on top. Next we ordered the Seminole roll, the Christmas roll, and the Firecracker roll(my favorite!). For dessert, we decided on the Matcha Crème Brûlée which is served with vanilla ice cream as well. Each plate that was brought out was more delicious than the last. I would honestly recommend all of them. Thanks Yuki Hana for a phenomenal first visit, can’t wait for our next!

I was craving good sushi, and wanted to try a new place so Yuki hana was my first choice, being that it was nearby. The place is kind of small but it’s ambience is very nice and modern. I ordered the crunchy muy bueno(I think thats the name), the kama kazi and the spicy tuna roll, and in my opinion was made to perfection! My boyfriend ordered the Ninja bento with salmon and asparagus, also made fresh and tasty! My fave was the crunchy muy bueno, I never had anything like that before but the flavors just went so well together! My whole experience here was lovely and I highly recomend this place to anyone. The food’s great, the environment’s great, and the people are great! Thank you Yuki hana!

Let me begin with this, how can you keep such high prices when your server can’t ven remember your requests and the silverware is dirty? She was very forgetful and distracted. Sushi was ok and overpriced. Not worth my return.

Don’t go… best I can say. Water was lukewarm. Server got my order wrong, I kept it anyway. Shrimp was way over cooked. That is all I ate from my bento box. The others had sushi and complained of feeing gross after lunch.

This place is a hidden gem in the Oviedo area! Located off Aloma and Tuskawilla Rd., Yuki Hana offers a unique blend of multiple cultures into Japanese and Asian inspired dishes. Myself and my fiancé decided we wanted sushi one night and since this place is very close to where I live currently, we figured we would see what it was all about. The atmosphere here is very soft and romantic, a lot of low lighting and soft music. The whole experience was very calming. Our server was very attentive and took the time to speak to us about our preferences so that he could make recommendations we would appreciate, and he was spot on! The presentation of the food itself was also phenomenal and everything we tried(calamari, sushi rolls) was simply an explosion of flavor! It’s a little on the pricey side, so be prepared, but worth every penny! I am so looking forward to going back!

A+!! I found Yuki Hana through Unilocal. My fellow Unilocalers did a great job reviewing this place. I love Yuki Hana as much as they do. Food — my friend and I came on a Monday during happy hour(although I heard they have happy hour all night on Mondays). We had 4 rolls which all were Delicious! High quality sushi at a terrific price. Their spicy tuna was one of the best I’ve had. Drinks — I had a glass of their Saki Sangria. I love trying different items especially at a happy hour price, $ 7. I’ll definitely be back!

We ate here this past weekend and loved it. The food was very good, our waitress was fantastic, even taking time to explain the menu and ingredients, and service was great. All this great service and at the end the check was extremely reasonable! We will definitely be going back again.

We went there for my birthday and it was wonderful from start to finish! We made a reservation so it was known that it was my birthday and they started my special time there with glasses of champagne. That set the tone for our wonderful experience there. Our waiter Justin was knowledgeable and patient with our many questions about the menu which is broad and creative! The food was amazing as the service was excellent! We look forward to our next visit!

Okay, this place was bad. We went here for Valentines Day after reading the positive Unilocal and OpenTable reviews and had to leave to go to another restaurant after waiting over an hour for our complete food order, which never came. We finally had the waiter take the entrée off of our bill and left. I hope the owners take this criticism to heart as I don’t generally leave bad reviews(and from reading their comments on other reviews, I’m sure there will be excuses). I think front of house management is lacking here. The hostess(which I think is the wife) never greeted us and never cracked a smile. Knowing we had to wait so long, she(or someone) should’ve approached us and apologized for the delay and maybe asked to make it right. Simple, I know, but this never happened. The waiter was nice enough and brought what he could, but you can definitely tell he was not empowered to make any decisions. In fact, we had to wait for him to get the okay to remove the item that never came. He also was relaying mixed messages from the kitchen which contradicted what actually came out. He really seem like he was trying, but it didn’t seem like the kitchen was prepared for Valentines Day dinner. My take is… this is your Super Bowl so you better bring your A-game. Unfortunately, the staff laid a fat egg. The food that did come out was decent enough, probably a 3.5 stars on its own. Service was a 1-star unfortunately. Would go to Sushi Pop the next time we want sushi in the area as we will not be back to Yuki Hana.

Valentine’s Day 2016 train wreck. 2.5 hour dinner from ordering to walking out with deserts in doggie bag. $ 200 dinner with small portion sizes for $ 55 special. We tried to order more rolls but after 30 minutes of waiting, they never served them. Even the processing of the bill took 20 minutes! Finally … baby at sushi bar on Valentine’s Day… I mean loud, crying baby. Overall a very expensive and poor dining experience. This was our third anniversary of dining at Yuki Hana on Valentine’s Day and I’m sorry to say that we are breaking up. Foodies save your money and patience and go elsewhere.

Tried it after the reviews and our go to favorite was over booked on the holiday. Have to say very surprised, sushi was extremely fresh, staff was friendly and willing to give suggestions when needed. One of the sushi chefs gave us a pre appetizer, that I wish I knew what it was. Just outstanding, and a great way to start the evening off right. We chose 4 different sushi rolls, and with we had tried each on the menu. Great place for that rare date night. We’ll be coming back in the future.

I really like this place! We stumbled on it by chance while we were in the area. Although their menu looked great, we weren’t super hungry so I just got the dynamite roll and my husband ordered the soft shell crab roll. Both were delicious! The décor is very nice inside. Pretty and clean facility. Recommend to anyone in the area. Aside from sushi, they have a lot of great options. I want to go back and try more of their menu next time when in that part of town!

Well, it was pretty empty but maybe that’s because it was a Tuesday evening. Ordered some yummy plum wine then some Sake. Had the following: Miso Soup — good Hot Stone Wagyu — delicious wagyu, but our stone was way too hot. We were scared of burning our wrists and eyebrows because the flames were coming up so high. They definitely need to work on getting the hot stone technique down better. Crown Royal Roll — good except the bacon jam was very overpowering. I kept scraping that off Red Devil Roll — really good I’d come back to check out more of their food. Cute little restaurant. Parking was a nightmare on Tuesday, so I don’t know how bad it gets on the weekends…

Average sushi at best. Judging the taste and experience, I would say they are overpriced. I came here because of the number of ratings and high ratings, and was let down. I drove quite a ways out of the way instead of going to the one I thought to pick. The place was ok, but I was disappointed based off of my expectation after seeing the reviews. The service was good.

Very good, def be back. Very good service. Ok so they close at 3pm but reopen at 5 pm so don’t go trying to eat at 4pm. They have specials for the holidays and birthdays if u leave ur email address. They even made provisions for non-shellfish eating folk so that was cool. Nothing else to say… darn good

Asian restaurants seem to be popping up in the Oviedo area a lot lately. I checked this place out on two separate evenings. Monday night is their special happy hour night from 5−10pm and we had a 20 minute wait at around 8pm. I made a mental note to make reservations if we come on a Monday night again. The Tuesday night I visited I did have a reservation, but probably didn’t need one as it was not nearly as crowded. Especially with a full house, the restaurant itself feels a little cramped but they make it work. Service here is hit or miss. We had a very attentive server on my first visit, but not so much on the second visit(and it could have been attributed to the Monday night happy hour craziness). Food wise, the sushi is pretty darn good. Between the two visits, I tried a variety of sushi and my favorites were the salmon skin roll and crazy roll. Not only was the sushi fresh and delicious, the plates were also visually appealing. Well done chef! The Monday night I came we tried a couple appetizers. I probably could have eaten the oxtail tacos for my main dish alone they were so tasty. We also splurged on the rock shrimp tempura which was quite delicious as well. Yuki Hana serves up some other hot dishes including bento boxes, which my friend on my first visit really enjoyed the chicken teriyaki. Sushi lover or not, I would recommend this place for a romantic dinner with your significant other or a night out with friends. Just make reservations if going on a Monday night.

My boyfriend and I love sushi and we were looking to try something new. We went to Yuki Hana just based on the number of reviews. I wish we would have looked at the menu prior to going in. The restaurant is intimate and very beautiful. We had chilled water served to us in a clear glass growler. Our initial waitress welcomed us to the restaurant since we were first time diners and explained their concept. Yuki Hana initially opened as a traditional sushi restaurant, but has incorporated a fusion style and lots of influences from different cultures(Korean, Japanese, and Italian). The waitress went into detail about some of the specials. However, once I heard things like«micro greens» on top of sushi, I knew we probably should have went somewhere else. We had a different waitress come back and take our food order which included a draft beer, 2 miso soup with tofu, spicy tuna roll, ninja roll, and salmon madness. It did take a while for our miso soup to come out. I don’t know if it was being made fresh or they forgot to put the order in. We were the only patrons inside the restaurant and there was a couple seated outside. The food was presented beautifully and was very filling. It seemed like the staff lost interest in us when they realized we weren’t going to be spending a lot of money. Our bill was around $ 45. Two members of the staff were at the register and did not say goodbye to us upon leaving. TL;DR: Beautiful restaurant, expensive, but tasty. Will not return, atmosphere/pricing not for us.

Slow. Below average. Rude. We(my wife and I) gave this place 2 chances and will never ever be back. Both times it took almost 45 to and hour to get our food. Granted you can’t rush art and with a busy Friday night I can understand that good food can take some time. But my god, man not both times. To make things more infuriating was the owner or manger which ever seemed to have no concern for our exhausting wait for food. Not to mention that our food was cold when served when it supposed to be hot. Reason I gave 2 out of 5 and not 1 out of 5 is: The one server we had the second time was super gracious and incredibly sweet. I believe her name was Yin or Yen. She seems to be the only good thing about this restaurant. Now granted the sushi is nothing special and just okay. There seems to be no good sushi places in Oviedo. If the owner/manager would stop being snarky and rude and the food would come out at an appropriate time then we would be understanding. But unfortunately my wife and i will never be back. Sorry, Yuki Hana. You failed on this one.

Craving sushi and saw good Unilocal reviews of this place. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and parking is limited at the store front. I ended up parking in front of the self storage place at the end of the same shopping area. The restaurant said it’s okay to park there since the same landlord owns the entire strip up to Walmart. Overall, the sushi and bento box tasted good and fresh. I think they make a genuine effort to plate the foods nicely. My server, Ashley, was great. 1. Stripe Bass nigiri 2. Fatty Tuna nigiri 3. Yellowtail jalapeño cold appetizer 4. Banging shrimp tempura hot appetizer 5. Sumo Bento 6. Kona Big Wave on draft Enjoyed my meal and it was a good find based on the Unilocal reviews. I also took advantage of Unilocal Deal and saved 10% off my total bill.

This place is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is wonderful. Perfect for a quick date or night out with friends. It’s stylish, comfortable and welcoming. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Their menu is definitely different than your typical sushi restaurant, although they do have all of the classics. For this reason, some of their items could use a bit of explanation. The staff were able to answer each question I had and didn’t mind when I asked them a few more before placing my order. Everything we ate was delicious! The fusion dishes were different, but delightful. If you love sushi but are looking for a little change, this is the perfect place for you. If you enjoy a nice drink with your dinner, you won’t be disappointed. They offer a wide variety of saki, beer and wine. I can’t remember if they had a lot of liquor but I did notice a wonderful bar. Have your next night out here — you won’t be disappointed.

This place was all-star! We had 4 people and everyone is still raving the next day. If you try nothing else — get the ox tail tacos. Oh. My. Gawd. For appetizers we ordered the softshell crab, ox tail tacos and ahi poke — all waitress recommendations. Each one was not only good but incredible — but we almost cancelled our whole order to just eat more oxtail tacos because they were THAT good. Rockstar worthy. For our meal we tried several rolls: The American Dream — similar to a rainbow roll, pretty standard but very good and fresh. The Sweetheart — this came in heart shapes and was pink, I LOVED it! It was also super tasty as well as good looking. The Muy Bueno — not your average sushi! The guys in our group loved this one. The Crown Royal — noted as «the best sushi I’ve ever had» by one member of our party — it was creative and tasty! We also had a sushi sampler — Chef’s choice. Our Chef must have liked salmon, bc the tray was a little salmon heavy. If we ordered it again, we would probably request eel be included. It was all great quality fish though — we ate every bite of every thing we ordered. For desert we tried the matcha crème brûlée — please get this dish. So yummy! But so was everything! We were shocked at how good each item was. Now down to brass tacks — Service was amazing. The manager twice visited to make sure we were enjoying our food & service and our waitress was knowledgeable and her suggestions were spot on. She also never let our waters even get a quarter of the way empty without quickly refilling. She was very attentive and professional.

Late review we went here last month but I’m still thinking about this place! I grew up in Japan so I’m really picky about my sushi. The menu overwhelmed me ONLY because I wanted to order and taste so many of thier dishes! The waitress was fantastic and her recommendations were spot on! The special sushi appetizer with foie gras and gold flakes was spectacular! Also I was shocked but my curiosity got the best of me in ordering a risotto at a sushi restaurant. I will just say the Uni and Scallop risotto is probably the best risotto I’ve ever eaten!!! It melted in my mouth and I ate it so slow savoring it! I will be coming back here the next visit!

Great Japanese food within walking distance of my house? Yes please! While I’ve only eaten at the restaurant a couple of times, my husband and I have gotten takeout numerous times. We like to get the Omakase For Two, since it includes the Ahi Poke(my favorite appetizer) and various, pieces of sushi and sashimi. The fish is always fresh and it’s enough food to keep us full. On night’s when we’re not looking to shell out $ 65, we’ll stick with the Aquarium Sashimi and a couple of seaweed salads. For me, the rolls are hit and miss, although I appreciate their inventive nature. However their hot small plates menu has some real winners, including the oxtail tacos and seafood pancake. Make sure to check out their Happy Hour, which includes not only drink specials, but also tapas and and a large selection of rolls at discounted prices. Mon 5−10pm, Tue-Thu 5 – 6:30pm.

Yuki Hana Japanese Fusion, in Oviedo, just off of Aloma at Tuskawilla, serves Japanese modern cuisine with a fresh twist on classic dishes and a vast selection of delectable sushi, fresh sashimi, and signature rolls created by chef and owner Eddison Chen. Yuki Hana Fusion’s menu represents chef Eddison’s nearly 15 years of experience including many years working with some of the best Japanese master sushi chefs in New York — where followers there have said Eddie«is devoted to maintaining the purity of his vision — that is not to be simply good but transcendent.» We were recently invited to visit the modern and sleek Yuki Hana to sample some of their dishes and were quite surprised and delighted by what they had to offer, a step above the typical sushi places in the area for sure. I would say it ranks among the best in Orlando in terms of its quality and taste. We started with a glass of the Bunraku Kinmai«Dancing Gold Flakes» sake, while the gold flakes are believed to «enhance good fortune», the sake itself had a smooth, rich flavor, slightly sweet and one of the best sake I have had the pleasure to taste. Geoduck is in season and chef Chen made great use of the ingredient in two dishes sampled this evening. Also known as giant clam, the geoduck is a very large, edible, saltwater clam native to western United States. Distinctively shaped similar to the male genital, the geoduck can go for $ 150/lb in Asia where it is a delicacy. We started with a geoduck miso soup made with both geoduck and little clams, as well as enoki and shitake mushroom. The soup was rich and flavorful, and had the mushroom and clam textures went well together. Next, the geoduck served two ways — tempura and sashimi style with an orange lemon confit, crispy and soft — very good. Uni was also in season — sea urchin is creamy and custardy and is often an acquired taste, but can be very wonderful if served fresh as it is here at Yuki Hana with a topping of quail egg. Some Asian — Latin fusion is also present here at Yuki Hana, executed well with dishes like the Oxtail tempura avocado taco with a Korean spicy gochujang pickle sauce. They’ve recently updated the menu, adding dishes like the Kanpachi Crudo with Hawaii yellowtail, black garlic, basil oil, tobiko, cucumber, lava salt, lemon confit, and togarashi and the Madai, Japanese sea bream with mango, avocado, cilantro, mustard seed vinaigrette, shallot chips, and furikake
