For bad news that I was in no way prepared for, this was an awesome experience. I made an appt. for a broken tooth and after trying to go with a lower impact resolution, Dr. Cohen (discussing what was happening every step of the way) allowed me to see the actual tooth and nothing could have impressed me with the need for a root canal better than this visual – no dentist has ever bothered to show me what they are looking at and full disclaimer I have been to hell and back in the dental realm. Then instead of discussing his fee and my ability to pay and setting up a lengthy and over-​whelming project plan, he made the time to kickstart it and communicate the process while checking in that I was doing ok and not in any pain.
I am used to root canals (I’m not kidding, I have spent some time in the chair) taking 5+ visits that are excruciating long and agonizing with jaw nerves getting poked and then being incapacitated with pain and pressure, this tooth has zero pain 9 hours after not negligible canal-​ing and clearing.
I am psyched to have found such a pro locally, you don’t find dentists like this, you just don’t. The office is very busy though his staff (dental assistant Mary was great too) is accommodating with will-​calls for nights and week-​ends in case of cancellations and I am not sure but they may have space in the daytime for new appointments.

I will never, ever go back. This dentist is CREEPPPPY! He said things that made me very uncomfortable and bordered on perv. Recommended by a male friend, I will never go back. Run, don’t walk awy.

Best dental offiice, ever, and I am quite stingy when it comes to dentists… I go, but I hate every minute of it.
The receptionist is amazing. Paula is a phenomenol hygeinest and Dr. Cohen is very patient and nice. I am so glad I found them!
