This is an excellent family restaurant with great food. We got the thick crust pizza, various appetizers, and the Al Capone sandwich. The kids got kiddy meals. Everyone was happy. Lots of leftovers! A beer growler is $ 17 and you take home the jug as a souvenir! Matt was our waiter and super friendly and attentive even though it was kinda busy. Will definitely go back.

The food is good, but not excellent. We had an elk burger, a cheeseburger, a Ruben and a spaghetti dinner. The sandwiches were good, and the pasta portion was huge but not very good. The pasta was edible but it was a very sweet sauce and there was not much to it. The atmosphere is fun and very northern and cute, so that makes up some for the ok food. It is also a bit on the pricy side considering the other options in the area.

We got the meat lovers, mozzarella sticks and garlic cheese bread. Everything was very mediocre. Crust was super thick and filling but not very flavorful. Toppings were very generous and good. Relatively expensive but fairly standard for the over priced water park experience.

Substandard. Much like a Chuckie Cheese. Sat us in the basement with the video games. I guess because we had kids. I ordered what appeared to be the healthiest thing on the menu. The broiled walleye. It was preceded by a salad that consisted of lettuce, an onion and some croutons. When the main course came out it was so drenched in butter my thighs hurt just looking at it. All nutrition eliminated by the grease and butter it was sitting in. I felt bad for the poor girl when I sent it back because it wasn’t her fault but that was not a healthy menu item. Went to this location because it was a microbrewery but turned out to be an arcade pizza joint with poor food.

Been coming here for years, and always have a good experience, Great atmosphere, nice staff, and good food. They also have a nice beer selection(I always get the«beer sampler»). Love coming here with the family!

The restaurant is huge, it has multiple levels and multiple bars. It is very clean and bright. The staff is usually nice and friendly. The food is amazing and I definitely recommend to anyone looking for good food and a good atmosphere.

Nice log cabin style restaurant. They specialize in pizza but their sandwiches are pretty decent too. I had the«Shaved Capone» and it was very large and very good. The fries they serve are among the best that I have ever had. Take time and check out the stuff on the walls, pretty neat. Before you leave, the staff gives each customer a paper headband of moose antlers which makes for some interesting sights.

Have been to Moosejaw twice. Both times it was okay. Food is alright… nothing special. Last time we had pizza which was OK but nothing special. This time we had pretty decent burgers. Also we have had the mozzarella cheese sticks which are wrapped in wonton wrappers… not great. You’ll be full when you’re done but nothing great here.

First and foremost order the Chicken wings! I am a wing person and they had excellent wings, full of meat and the sauce was very tasty. The service here was good, staff friendly, vibe was very family and fun. Everyone seemed to be wearing these mouse hats that they provided you. I found that a bit odd, especially when everyone and not just birthday parties were wearing the hats but hey whatever. The food was good. Ribs delicious and tender. Club Sandwich like any club sandwich so a classic, but a goodie. Salad basic, nothing else to say. Pork chops juicy. There was a little incident with my soup 0.0 but the manger came over right away and tried to resolve the situation. Again quick and friendly. Won’t be ordering soup here ever again though. And the reason they are getting 3 stars and not 4. All in all pretty good food, fun atmosphere, a more family environment to your typical family diner resturant.

Pizza is fantastic. Service slightly below par. While the wait staff was attentive, things were missed or forgotten. We asked for extra napkins three times before they were finally brought. Appetizer plates were forgotten. We had to ask for pizza plates. And the staff forgot to clear appetizer platters before bringing the pizza. She also didn’t put pizza, beer, drinks in front of people. She dropped them off and expected us to put them in the right place or whoever ordered. Negatives aside, the pizza rocks. So do the cheese sticks, beer bread, and micro-brew beer. Would have rated 4 stars if the service was better. We were a party of 12, so there’s some leeway you can give to the server, but forgetting basics is not excusable.

Ordered delivery from here on a busy Saturday night. They delivered the pizza so fast I could not believe it. We got two pizzas both thin crust. The first was a sausage and I could only eat two slices as the sausages pieces are so big they are like mini meatballs. Super filling and delicious. My husband ordered a small pizza for himself because he wanted to add olives and he enjoyed his pizza as well. I love how when they deliver they give you plates, napkins and even parmesan cheese. If we are back in town I would like to go to the actual restaurant since their delivery was so good.

We had dinner about 6pm on Saturday. We ordered pizza and the waiter kindly told us it gonna take long and we don’t want to waste a lot time on waiting. Then we ordered a super taco, which is actually huge and tasteful, moose wings and chicken wraps. I forgot my phone on the table when I came back the friendly staff brought it back to me. Such a family-atmosphere place around helpful staff. :)

**Keep in mind we were here during the off-season** We came here twice for one main reason, our daughter who has ASD loves Kraft Mac N Cheese and they serve that here. Both times we got Cris as our waiter and he was a very nice and accommodating waiter. very friendly and personable. Both times we came it was not terribly busy but definitely had a nice crowd. The first night we came here we got the huge 10 beer sampler because they are a working brewery as well. While the majority of beers were ok, we did have a few favorites. The Bock was pretty solid along with the stout. I personally like the Hazelnut Brown but my wife said it tastes like the hazelnut flavor may be coming from some type of extract because it tasted like coffee creamer. She has the BLT and I had the wrap. Both meals pretty basic, nothing spectacular here but not horrible either. We also had the beer bread as an appetizer and it was ok, again nothing special. We left satisfied with a few items as leftovers. The second time we came was for lunch the next day. We could smell the pizza the night before and wanted to give it a try. I opted for no beer this time but had tea. My wife had the IPA which she seemed to enjoy most the previous night as well. I got the BBQ personal pan pizza and she got the Calzone. I thought my pizza was tasty, and I should’ve ordered a larger size. My wife really enjoyed her Calzone but couldn’t finish it. We also had the mozzarella sticks and they were pretty tasty. Overall it’s a nice place to eat. The prices are a little high but we are in tourist spot so it was to be expected. Go with confidence in knowing you will get a solid meal and possibly a tasty beverage. Watch for the up sales too… dessert and beer to go :).

I have been to this place a couple times and each time I leave satisfied. The pizza is amazing. Do get the sausage! You get huge chunks and they are so tasty. The crust is crispy and the cheese gooey. Cannot recommend enough. Also be sure to try some of there locally made beer. They seem to have different type throughout the year. The atmosphere of the restaurant is reminiscent of a cabin or lodge stocked to the brim with moose antlers, fishing trophies and other Canadian/British paraphernalia. Try to get a seat by the fireplace if you can. It’s very cozy, but can be quite busy during the tourist season. If pizza and beer is what you crave then look no further!

Its as good as it gets! This place was great… the atmosphere, service, and food were all top notch. Drink orders were wrong, but staff was eager to get it right. I could careless the order was wrong… what i did like, was the attitude the staff showed to make sure it was corrected and they did it willingly. Food was awesome… hot and tasty !!! Recommend to all who have not been here yet.

Well mom, niece and I we’re starving we saw one of their cars with the moose on top. My niece said look at that. So we checked it out by the way great marketing strategy on that one. Our server recommend the mozzarella sticks which by the way we’re not breaded they had like a egg roll look but not bad really good. Wow the pizza here was awesome had their specialty BQQ pizza wow so good. Like every slice I got was not enough to satisfy my hunger of how good this pizza was. BQQ pizza contained sausage, bacon, pepperoni and of course bbq sauce. Oh by the way I was full lol if I’m ever around there again I’ll stop by again.

Let me tell y’all a story about this one time not too long ago when a moose seduced me by offering a cheap — ass flight of beer. Now I’m kinda easy and hence easily seduced when beer is offered, but when I get 10 descent sized beers for only $ 14 — well, let’s just say ya got me wrapped around your finger. My fiancé and I went to Moosejaw primarily because of this beer flight we’d seen and we decided to order some food along with it. Now we ordered a large sausage pizza(we’d have gotten more toppings but it was like $ 2.50 for each topping, yikes!!!) which, to be honest, tasted like any other pizza you’d get from Domino’s or some chain restaurant like that. I’m also quite picky with my pizza like all of Chicagoans are so can ya really blame me for not being totally in-love with this thin crust-ed wannabe pizza? The pizza there isn’t terrible, it’s just not great. But the beer. Oh, the beer. Wherever do I begin to describe it’s majesty? Each and every one of the 10 in-house beers were awesome. During the time that we went we were able to try the Apple Ale, Strawberry — Lemonade Ale, the Raspberry Ale, Hefeweissen, Hazlenut Ale, Shandy and their IPA… I know I just named a lot of them, but most of their beers were so memorable and distinct. I’d never had anything that tasted like some of those and although they were sweet, they were not overwhelmingly sweet like you may think. Some of those beers were seasonal so they may not have all of them depending on when you go, but I guarantee they will have many of them. Besides the beer, which I could continue raving about, our service was wonderful. We had the sweetest waitress — what a pleasure — who was actually from Jamaica. Based upon our experience at Moosejaw and many other places at the Dells, there’s many college-aged students there on work-visas. Anyways, our waitress was extremely prompt and able to answer many questions for us. Before leaving though, we got a combination six-pack of their beer. They didn’t offer all of their beers in bottles, but we got about 4 different ones. Since they make all of their beer in the restaurant they sell six packs there for a reasonable price. You can buy the beer at other places in the Dells too, but why do that when you can get them from the source? Now before you go, make sure you take a picture with the moose on the side of the restaurant. That’s an order! He’s a very cute moose… by taking a photo with Mr. Moose ypu will officially put a close to your Moosejaw experience.

Love the moose thats on there delivery cars, definatly attention getters! The appetizers were hot, the pizza was mouthwatering! And they kept the drinks coming! Perfect service, always on top of helping us. Oh, got a beer growler that we can fill up inexpensively when we return!!! They sometimes get pretty full with starving marvins, but they also deliver with there Moose cars, thats an added bonus!!! Was there several years ago, hope to go back soon!!!

At 10 at night, I decided I was hungry. There is a Domino’s and a couple other chain pizza places in the area, but I figured since I was in a new place, I might as well try some new cuisine. I called in my order at 10:10PM. Since they closed at 10:30PM, I was surprised they were still accepting orders for delivery. They were, and they don’t charge any delivery fees. They’ll deliver it straight to your hotel room, and you can pay by credit card over the phone. The lady on the phone was curt with me. She didn’t seem particularly rude, but she did seem like she was pretty busy. It wasn’t the most pleasant ordering experience, but it was efficient. She said I’d have my order in 30 to 45 minutes. Had my order by 10:25. Fast service! There were two people at the door, so it looks like they were training someone. Needed to sign a receipt, and the employee took out my pizza from a «keep it warm» bag and handed me paper plates, a set of napkins, and hand towelettes with my meal as well! It was more than I was expecting. Food was still pretty warm when I got it. I ordered just a plain cheese pizza with black olives. I loved the cheese pizza part, but I wasn’t so fond of the crust. The thick crust ends up being pretty crunchy and annoying to bite into; it actually, on a small pizza, ends up being about ¼ of the size of the slice too. While I love thick crusts, I normally like them to feel soft and warm to chew. These were hard and crunchy, and I wasn’t so fond of that. The pizza, aside from that, was delicious, though. I’m not sure I’d order it again, and if I did, I’d probably get a thin crust instead.
