It’s the Dells. It’s almost a mandate that before you leave town, you grab fudge at one of the plethora of shops that sling this decadent treat. We stopped in on a cold weekend and had the whole shop to ourselves. We opted for the peanut butter and chocolate variety. Rich. Creamy. Full of guilt after eating. What more can you want from fudge?

I mean the fudge is good, but the smallest size is a half pound for 7.50 $!! I definitely didn’t want that much… Also the lady was being really rude to her employees. She needs to watch her attitude in front of customers. They were doing the best they could to keep up with the long line. Definitely not going there again.

My husband *needed* turtles before we left the Dells, so we stopped here to search for some! They just happened to have some already packaged and ready to go! he said they were so good that he wished he had bought even more. He ate the whole box in one sitting!

Every tourist town across the country claims to have the edge on the fudge trade. Yeah, some of it is pretty good, but I can never get enough of the Original Wisconsin Dells fudge. I come to the Dells once a year, and have to stock up on the sweet, sugary goodness. And plus bring some home for my Dad(even though they do have a catalog and will ship their goods anywhere.) They have every conceivable flavor of fudge(mine being chocolate mint) from plain chocolate to white chocolate cranberry almond. Along with the fudge, all sorts of dentist’s worst nightmares can be procured here. Salt water taffy, huge caramel and candied apples, hard candy, and much more.
