The room was $ 50. You can’t expect much.
For our second stay, the atmosphere was not as nice. The heat in the room hadn’t been turned on for awhile — it was absolutely freezing in the dead of winter. The sheets are so thin, nearly see through, and someone else’s stuff was hanging on the back of the door. I didn’t even tell my husband that until we left. The pool water was super cold, and I’m not really convinced it was all that clean.
I’m guessing it’s super hard to keep a hotel going in the Rapids, and at $ 50, I get it. I would pay and extra $ 30 for something else if I were bringing the family along.

I generally love Motel 6 but this place didn’t live up to expectations — the room was kind of rundown — but it does appear the owners are hardworking and doing everything by themselves — so I’ll give them a higher rating then I normally would.
