Went to Jake n Joes for lunch today. Atmosphere is very welcoming! Décor and style of the place suits the restaurant well. Also, this is the very first sports bar and grill I have every been to that had some women athletes represented. Our waiter Joe was very friendly and always had a smile on his face! The reason for 3 stars is because of the wait and food. We waited 30 minutes for our food. The clam strips were excellent! However, the French fries were subpar. They weren’t fantastic, but they weren’t terrible. Since it’s a sports bar and grill, it should serve really good fries. The California Chicken Club was okay. Just a sandwich with chicken, lettuce, tomato, bacon, avocado, mayo, and micro greens. However, the sandwich came with little to none of the micro greens which was disappointing. Also, the bread was toasted way too much that I had a difficult time eating it. The side JNJ salad was nothing from extraordinary. It was a classic mix of fancy green salad that you would get at the grocery store with walnuts and a side of probably creamy Italian dressing. This shouldn’t be called the JNJ salad because people are going to assume that the salad is unique. In addition, their bathrooms are clean and nice. Also, their menus are not organized and designed well. It has a lot of words and people don’t want to read a novel at a restaurant. They should redesign their menus to give off a better feeling to the customers.

Matt provides excellent service, full bar, and still very attentive. Always a full beer with tv’s surrounding the bar, a great atmosphere. Very diverse group of people. Highly recommended.

Jake and joe… class acts. Great guys. I wish they were both my dads because this place is the tits. We got here and got a seat at the bar and Matt served it up real nice. Got me a beer right away with his local accent which made me feel right at home. I hope I’m too hungover to make it to work tomorrow so I can come back here for lunch. 5 stars. Cheers to Jake, Joe and Matt. Go pats.

Great consistant service and food Have been coming here since it opened last year. Plenty of parking and plenty of tables to be had. Also tried the outdoor seating area which has heat lamps, tv’s and plenty of seating. As for the food: My confession is that I’ve only got the wings or other apps, have never got a burger or meal but have always come back for more wings! The wings are great(try the jake and joes flavor, better than the buffalo) and tasty. You can get them three sizes or try what they call the wing tower with has three tiers that you can get different flavors of the wings. Also on the app menu is a Quesadilla which is really big, filling and flavorful. I like to add the buffalo chicken to the Quesadilla and that becomes a meal for me. Salads are good as well. The Service: Front desk — Always outstanding, The staff at the front desk keep things moving, organized and communicates well with customers and other staff members. I see the manager check it and work from this spot. The wait staff — hustles, checks in with the customers and is always attentive and works hard. Have seen many of the wait staff still working there so turnover doesn’t seem to be an issue. The kitchen — I’ve been there 15 – 20 times and I’ve never waited excessive times for food, even when the place is packed, the food keeps rolling out quickly and is delivered warm. Addtional sauces, dressings and other items retrieved and delivered quickly. Drinks — seems to have about 60 beers on tap, pours a nice glass of Guiness and never leaves you waiting with an empty drink glass. Bar service and response also immediate. Haven’t venturned to any specialty drinks so I can’t offer any review of those. Bathrooms have provocative pictures on the wall so you may have to explain to the little ones if they go but bathrooms in general are very nice, clean and modern. The owners have good people in charge and on the floor running the place, The place does well no matter if the place is crowded or quiet. In nice weather the outside doors are open and gives the place a good feel. Also if you plan to go often, get a jake and joes card, specials offers emailed to you. Also Monday is 50c wing day. Place gets loud when its crowded or if there is an sporting event on. Not a small talk type of place.

I have been in once a week for the last 3 weeks. Bartenders are friendly and accommodating. The appetizer of choice here other than the wings is the steak n cheese rolls. Awesome!

The buffalo chicken quesadilla is probably one of the best quesadillas I’ve had in my life. Great food, great atmosphere, great service!

I love this place. Its close right across the street from Dave and Busters. I’ve been here a lot of times with different groups of people and enjoyed each experience. I was here Friday night, it was great. Steak tips with fries and tator tots, Sam Adams Summer is in already, and just the amount of TVs is perfect. Always fun to watch a game, chat with friends, and have a great time.

The food is great. The selection of wings is amazing. Full bar and great draft selection. The thing that I liked most was that the service was fantastic. Everyone is extremely accommodating.

I went here at the request of my kids. Nice décor with a large bar in the middle. Reminded me of a Buffalo Wild Wings with all the TVs. As far as the menu it is fairly limited and wickedly overpriced. Not to mention they nickel and dime you for everything. Want mayo on that burger? 50 cents please. Avacado slice? $ 1.99WTF? The food was ok. Seemed like frozen burgers and fries. Not to mention the fries shown on the menu are not the fries you get, just a pet peeve I guess. You apparently don’t go here for the food. They have an extensive drink menu and that seems to be the draw. Personally no desire to go back.

We had a business meeting last Friday and needed a local restaurant to dine in. We chose the new Jake n Joe’s which opened recently. The restaurant was very busy and very loud– the music was blaring and all the TV’s were on sports. We got a booth in the back and luckily we were able to hear each other talk. The service was very good and attentive. The food was very good. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I liked the menu and hope to return here again but not for a business meeting.

Woburns finest hang out. Great selection of drafts, burgers are best in town. Wings are good, however the Atomic wings are less than sirracha strength, big let down.

Since my last review have been back twice for dinner, and am even more comfortable with 4 stars. My wife continues to just get the steak gorgonzola salad, she loves the marinated tips that are served on it. In addition to what I put in my original review, I’ve since had: Pretzel app — very good — big soft pretzel sticks with sauces for dipping. The honey mustard is good, that’s what I had. Can’t speak to the other sauces. Steak and Cheese egg rolls — very good. Buffalo chicken mac and cheese — it was good. It was creamy, lots of chicken, good buffalo sauce and cheese flavors. Frankly, it was an odd combination of flavors(I’ve never had it before), and not one I’d get again, but for what it was, it was good. Pulled pork sandwich — very good. Comes dry with a side of sauce that you add. Good sauce. REALLY good roll. I will get this again. And that’s something that’s been consistent — I’ve had three sandwiches here, and the bread has been fantastic every time. Chocolate lava cake — very good. I’ll just say to the owners once again — get a bigger beer selection, and fix the darn coleslaw. The place is wide open, so it is LOUD in there. Doesn’t bother me, but certainly isn’t much of a date type restaurant, nothing intimate about it. It’s a sports bar. We will be back.

I went there on a Sunday during the Bruins game. Coors and Miller light on draft are $ 3.50 which is pretty good in my eyes. The food was good. It may have been a tad over priced by $ 2-$ 3 but it wasn’t crazy expensive. I got the chicken cordon blue melt which was awesome. My wife got the ultimate turkey burger which was also pretty good. My friend got a small cheese pizza that was very good. Really no complaints as of now. I see other reviews about the burgers but the turkey burger I tried was not dry at all. The atmosphere is great if you’re a sports fan. I will be going back and trying other menu items. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because I want to try more items on the menu.

The food is delicious. We started with the buffalo chicken dip which comes with chips and bread for dipping. Not too spicy but still very good! We also had the Cobb salad and Joes Deluxe Burger. BOTH were excellent and would get again. Our server was very friendly and attentive. They just opened so I am sure they will just get better going forward. We will be back.

If you ask me to watch the Bruins game with you, I will probably want a beer to go with it. If I am going out to enjoy hockey and a beer, I will suggest we hit up a sport’s pub. While deciding on a sport’s pub, I will remember the new Jake and Joe’s has just recently opened in Woburn. The pub will remind me of buffalo wings, and chances are, if we are going to Jake and Joe’s, I will need an order of wings to go with my beer… And that is exactly what we did– ordered some wings; a tower of wings to be exact. The wing tower consists of three tiers and the menu allows the option to tailor the sauces to suit your preference. We decided on Buffalo, Terriyaki, and Garlic Parmesan for our tower last night. All had good flavor and the chicken was tender and juicy. This was not my first wing rodeo, as I had tried the wing tower at another Jake and Joe’s location and found them very good on that visit as well. The rest of the menu is your typical array of pub food including, but not limited to, pizza, burgers, soups, salads, sandwiches, apps, and desserts. The drink menu is decent with a large variety of draft and bottled beers in addtion to a specialty cocktail list. First impressions –decorative lighting offers a trendy feel and the restaurant overall emanates a lively and fun vibe. Large TV’s are mounted on the walls and above the bar so that no seats in the house are without a great view. When the hockey game ended, music videos took its place to add a little hip-hop beat to the atmosphere. The large bar is situated in the center of the room surrounded by pub tables and booths. The restaurant was quite busy last night especially during peak dinner/Bruins time. The acoustics can be a bit noisy, so probably not the best venue if you are looking to enjoy some quiet conversation. So, about those burgers… A few other Unilocalers had unfavorable reviews of the Jake and Joe’s burgers. I mentioned this to my friend last night, but yet he insisted on ordering a burger anyhow. He was disappointed, as were prior reviewers, and claimed his burger was«extremely dry, flavorless, and certainly not cooked medium» as he requested. I decided on ordering another small appetizer for my meal after filling up on the wings and opted for potato skins. The skins are delicious little potato boats loaded with sour cream, bacon, green onion, and cheese — winning! Our waitress, Ashley, was very sweet and attentive. She performed her job very well. The service, however, seemed a bit slow, but I doubt this was any fault of our server. I will give this brand new pub the benefit of the doubt for now, as I am sure they are still working out the kinks. I love that there is a new option nearby when craving low-key nights out for beer and apps. I am sure we will add Jake and Joe’s to our regular roster of sports pubs.

Dined here with my two sons and wife on 1÷16÷2016 for lunch. It was a snowy/rainy day. We all were thinking of a 3.5 star rating, but went with 3 since you can’t give half star ratings. The décor is nice. Lots of lights and bright televisions. The music pumped in was the sound from a music video station playing on some of the televisions. It was playing at an appropriate volume level. The food was average. My wife had Shepherd’s Pie which she enjoyed. My oldest son had a personal 10″ extra cheese pizza which he enjoyed. My youngest son had a Cheeseburger he described as dry and did not finish. I got the black and bleu burger which was OK. Not the worst burger but nothing special. Lacking in bleu cheese. We liked the atmosphere and hope the food gets a bit better.

Typical sports bar food: tons of options for burgers, wings, apps. Same comment as other review — they can not cook a burger. There is nothing other than well done– well well well done. Wings were tasty enough(mango habanero) and had a kick! Service was really exceptional. Very attentive and overall excellent. Seriously do not deviate from the menu on drinks(I was in the mood for a lemon drop martini — I know– something you should not order at a sports bar) I asked if they could make it– I got stoli citron in a martini glass straight up. It was beyond horrible and I tossed it. I expressed my displeasure but still ended up paying for the drink.!Once I ordered from the drink menu it was fine. Plenty of tvs and a good selection of beers.
