The only positive is that you can go in and pick a variety of slices, and the slices are huge and a good value. On the contrary, there are tons of better options. Definitely not a top pizza place but convenience and variety is good.

The food is delicious! Sophia pizza: THEBEST! Calzones: amazing! But the people who answer the phone(Woburn place)… Meh! Rude, impolite and indelicate. If you don’t wanna work on a cold Monday night, PLEASE, quit! And go home watch TV.

Love their pizza. Sometimes there aren’t enough choices/variety of slices depending on time of night.

I LOVESALS. The pizza is awesome and cooked just right. I always try to stop in and have a few slices. Pricing has gone up, but I dont eat there all the time so I «bank» on it

TERRIBLE customer service! Called tonight to place a delivery order at 6 and the guy tells me there is an hour wait. Tell him it’s fine and he make a deep sigh and says«really your goin to wait over an hour and we close at 8.» I feel that as a customer if I says they want delivery 2 hours before your closing time you do it! Won’t waiste my time with them anymore.

Picked up a chicken parm calzone(take out) and a salad. The calzone was filled with cubed, pre cooked chicken mixed with sauce and cheese. Odd and/or old musty tasting. Poor excuse for chicken parm. I emailed Sals about my experienced but they never replied.

I love the pizza but the service/delivery is awful. I had a terrible experience recently that has made us stop ordering from Sal’s. I ordered pizza at 5. Was told delivery would take 45 minutes. I said ok. When it was 1.5 hours and no pizza along w several calls I was angry and hungry. When I called the last time they said the pizza had been ready and when the driver gets back he will deliver — but he had just left. So my pizza is just sitting there getting cold? I had a houseful of adults and children and they were hungry. Too late to get another pizza place involved. I told them I would come and get it. I did and they didn’t apologize and of course my pizza was cold. 2 hours later. I am calling DeliWorks next time.

Never knew this place existed… Really… I guess I’ve seen the signs. I’m huge on pizza, love Italian thin crust best and this place was a pleasant surprise. Got a slice of hamburger and onion and the next time pepperoni and onion. Love onions! Love this place and their pizza I shall return

I’m not sure why the local Bostonians recommended this place. This pizza was just plain odd. The outside crust was good, but then it went downhill from there. The pizza itself smelled great, but it was watery and it’s odd because it’s just not a flavorful pizza. Also, because the pizza is so watery, it makes the inside crust soggy. My buddy asked me if we ordered a vegetarian pizza by accident because it was covered in olives and peppers. We actually ordered the Sal’s Pizza which is supposed to have onions, peppers, pepperoni(very skimpy), and olives. Most of the veggies were undercooked. And there was hardly any pepperoni on the pizza. Maybe I should trust local recommendations if they’re sending me here! Next time I’ll double check Unilocal

Terrible experience. We just moved to Woburn a few months ago and decided to finally stop in here and give it a try. We called in an order and were told 20 minutes, so we drove over and got there at about the 15 minute mark. We went inside and first impressions were pretty good… nice looking place, looked clean on the surface, but then… the old guy at the counter. Yeah, the old guy. He was pretty damn rude, so I said screw it and left before my order was ready. I refuse to give a place like this my money. I will not be returning for a second chance.

Food is pretty good. If your staying at the hilton it’s a quick easy walk here. Staff is very friendly. Decent amount of choices.

I just wanted to say how pleasant it was to go into a place on a busy friday night and still be treated as it was slow. Not only was i very pleased by my pizzas but the pizza guy was great. He was getting slammed but still had time to joke & entertain my kids as they watched him toss the pizza around. He even brought the pizza to our table instead of screaming it out as they usually do. Thats an A+ in my eyes. We only go there on fridays nights now. I think the wife has a crush on him, j/k. The Place was very clean, including the tables.

I was so disappointed by Sal’s. I had been wanting to try it since moving to Woburn. I work near the one on Northern Ave and love it! I guess I should have read reviews before getting my hopes up… we ordered pizza for lunch today, they estimated 45 minutes and it took an hour and 15. I get that there’s so much snow out there, so I wasn’t concerned with the extra time it took. BUT the pizza we got was cold and not fresh. My boyfriend said it perfectly when he said it tasted like we were eating leftover pizza. For a $ 16 pizza, I was was disappointed!

Welcome to Sals, we’re sorry for the wait. 30 Minute wait for a pizza while in the store. You have to advertise inside your store that you use 100% mozzarella? That is kinda sketchy. Delivery results in the norm 30 – 45 minute wait and a soggy crust that can’t support the pizza it holds. There are other better options in Woburn, go for them.

so sals is our work fav for most pll but I hardly go there bit that does not mean pizza is bad. They do have decent pizzas and choices. The slices are also pretty good size. It is nothing new and I havemt really eaten anything else but some ppl swear by sals but that might be because its cheaper options . I mean decent pizza w decent price. Nothing special

Well this place is ok. Prices are good and have a good lunch special. But the pizza is missing flavor, it tasted like plain tomato sauce, no salt, no pepper, or rosemary. The topping were plentiful but you can tell they were not fresh cut and had been frozen a couple times. The service was ok, took a little bit to notice me but after that very helpful. Over all this place is ok I wont be coming back unless im in boston and staying by this place. But even if I was in boston i wouldnt make a special trip here.

It takes a lot for me to pause and write a review. Today’s experience gave me enough stimulus to write. Mocked my order. Mistook me for another customer twice. Laughed at my order after I ordered, despite thinking I couldn’t hear the trolls behind the counter. Poor excuse for a pizzeria.

Went there with my boy at 530 on a Tuesday evening. the place was a GHOST town except for the three women who were staff.(and older woman with blonde hair and two yound girls– one with black hair and the other with a crew cut). The blonde woman took our order(two slices and two drinks) and then took down the sign saying it was $ 5.99(or something like that) .hmmmmmm that was weird. We waited forever for our slices– like 15 minutes for them to heat them up — I honestly think they forgot they were in there because our original staff member who took our order became the cook behind the food counter and another girl ended up watching the front end. I had to ask about them. When we got the pizza it was extremely hot(burn my mouth, tongue and hands hot) but flavorful and very large slices(more like 2!) I’m just shocked that no one else really came in except two takeout people while we were there. I guess their lunch crowd must sustain this location. The staff could be a bit more attentive to remembering there are patrons in the place– their conversations was ‘peppered’ with some colorful language lol

«HEYSAL, HOWCOMEYOUGOTNOBROTHA’S ONTHEWALLHERE?» Hello I’m street eating legend King Eat, and today I’ll be reviewing Sals Pizza in Woburn! Pizza’s ok, same with Italian subs. For my money I’ll head 5 mins down the road to Polcari’s for a better pizza, and 10 minutes down the road to Anthony’s in Stoneham for an Italian Sub. No shot’s Sals… Edit: JUST finished a slice of Cheese from Sal’s… I feel like their biggest problem is that the pizza just isn’t flavorful. There it is. Their toppings aren’t all that either.

Chicken parm sub was good but relatively on the small side for the price of 7 bucks and some change. I will stick with the pizza for now.
