We just had cfs out to our home to replace a gas hot water heater. They said they would give us a quote over the phone. After installation we were told there were trade charges to include a line for gas (although, they knew it was gas ahead of time), and an extra 150 dollars was added to move the dryer! I am very irritated that they added charges after the fact. Feels sneaky and manipulative to me. Next time I’ll use a company that does free estimates ahead of time and doesn’t change pricing later!

The CFS technician arrived promptly and was able to make the repair. He was highly knowledgeable and took the time to fully explain the problem to me. He did not try to sell me anything, but he did confirm my fear, that my 28 year old unit was barely hanging on. As a result of his exceptional customer service, honesty and knowledge, I requested and received a very fair quote and had my new unit installed that following day. The service technicians were quality individuals through and through and could not have been any nicer and respectful of me and my home. Once the work was complete, my old unit was removed and they swept and cleaned the inside floor and my back yard patio. When you are calling around looking for the best deal and weighing all aspects of choosing a HVAC company, I highly recommend you choose CFS for their exceptional customer service, honesty, integrity, and quality workmanship. You will be so happy you did!!!

If I could give them ZERO stars I would. My water heater has an electrical unit that burned itself up in the night. I awoke to the smell of burning plastic and shut off my circuit breaker. I my property managers and they contracted CFS to come fix the issue. They said they would come that same day, and did not. But they never let us know that. They said we’d need a new part and they’d overnight it and they’d be here first thing tomorrow. Tomorrow rolls around… no phone call… so we called them. Our part wasn’t shipped so they said they’d come first thing the next day. Again, we had to call them to find out. It’s 2 days before Thanksgiving and we are without hot water and we are hosting 8 people. Do not ever use this company or you will be left in the dark waiting for people who do not show up. I am actually filing a claim with the BBB against them right now.
