The first time I went a few days ago, the stuffed shrimp was great. Ordered the crab cakes, and they were extremely burnt. Kinda in between at the moment.

Love this place. Has a huge menu and everything is good. But they have recently become too expensive. I’ve rethought several times about going there and wound up getting something else due to price. $ 9 for a wrap sandwich comes with no sides. Buffalo chicken tenders 12 for almost $ 16 with no sides. It’s likely I won’t be back often with these prices anymore.

Good Fried chicken!!! Large menus frighten me, and There’s lots of choices on the menu, but why would I order anything other than chicken from a place with«chicken» in the title. Lol. My chicken was freshly fried, unlike big name chicken places that pile their pre-fried chicken in a window. And It was seasoned well. The look of the place was far from fancy, maybe that’s why when I was given a list of places to eat in the area, this wasn’t on it. I honestly don’t remember if there was indoor seating, but The Outdoor seating was decent and is good for a nice day, but not during the rain, or cold winter months.

Love this place best wings, best ribs around period. Corn nuggets are a staple. Macaroni salad is on point. You can’t go wrong with the mashed potatoes and gravy.

I will preface my review with a few caveats about our experience — 1. We went around 9:00pm on a Sunday, so the staff may have been tired after a long weekend. 2. They were dealing with a rather bizarre situation from another customer Ok, now that I’ve said that, on to the review: Like I said, my boyfriend and I went to Chicken Galore on Sunday night around 9pm to pick up a late dinner. Upon walking in, the atmosphere seemed to be sorely lacking. You can’t really eat-in at this place, as they really only had 1 table that seats 4, and 1 woman was sitting there, along with a bench for waiting. The woman sitting at the table was rude and abrupt, yelling her order at the employees, complaining about the cost of what she ordered, and then complaining that she wasn’t getting her rice fast enough. This is something, though, that of course the employees really have no control over, and they seemed to handle it as best they could. That just added to the weird vibe of the place, though. When we walked in, we didn’t receive any sort of greeting, and it must’ve been obvious that we’d never been there before, since the woman at the register just said, «Need a menu?» We took one and began perusing the very wide selection of items(they do have a lot to offer). While we were looking, two of the cooks(the space is very open, so we could see and hear them clearly) began fighting and dropping one f-bomb after the other. We’re not prude people by any means, but this is just unprofessional and off-putting. An older gentleman, who may have been a manager, finally told them to knock it off. We decided what we wanted, so we walked up to the woman at the register to place our order. The older gentleman was sitting beside her at this point, and right as we walked up, he began talking to her about car racing, or something like that? The woman appeared to try to turn to us, but he just kept talking, so she kept paying attention to him instead of taking our order. We just stood their staring at them sort of awkwardly until we were acknowledged. In my opinion, the older gentleman, who again, we think was the manager, should have said, «Take care of them, I’ll talk with you about this later.» Or the woman should’ve said, «Hold on one second while I take their order.» Again, unprofessional. We finally gave them our order. I ordered the Dijon Pepper Wrap, and my boyfriend ordered the Boston Fish Wrap and the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich. We also got the free order of corn poppers by checking in on Unilocal.Once she took our order, the woman said it would be about 10 – 15 minutes. The man who we think was the manager then laughed and said, «It’ll be more like 15 – 20 minutes.» It did take about 20 minutes. Now, to the food. We ate the corn poppers in the car because we were so hungry, and they were good, but generic. I’m pretty sure they are just frozen and cooked, because another restaurant near us has the EXACT same kind. I like them, though, so that was fine. My wrap was fine, but nothing to write home about. The dijon was good, but the wrap was just lacking, it needs another element of taste and texture. My boyfriend said his wrap and sandwich were good, but again, nothing spectacular. I tried his Boston Fish Wrap, and I mostly just tasted the tartar sauce. In the end, we decided with the wait, the unfriendly atmosphere, the drive there, and the food quality, we won’t be back. We’d much rather just to go another place down the road from us, which has better food, nicer people, and is quicker.

This is a great place. I’ve ordered from here many times and the chicken and cornbread is excellent. A lot of the other items are somewhat low quality, but fine for the price. Definitely get the chicken

If you want fast food chicken, this is the place for you. Nothing special that sets them apart and the presentation of the food is lacking, but it tastes good! I would not recommend their boneless wings-their sauce is awful and it’s just huge breast meat covered in it.

I’m really surprised at the high reviews… I found their chicken to be very, very greasy… lacked crunch and flavor, mashed potatoes were super salty… I was pretty unimpressed overall and won’t be giving it a second try.

I’ve been ordering from Chicken Galore for years. Every time I order their wings, I get compliments on them and get asked where I got them from. I also highly recommend the chicken and ribs there as well.

I have been enjoying Chicken Galore my entire life. The chicken is always so juicy and the crunchy yumminess on the outside is crave worthy. Fries are delicious, but get a side of nacho cheese ;). Been having the fish and chips special every year during Lent, and to this day it is the only fish I will eat.

Over priced. Didn’t even include plastic forks or ketchup with take out order. Would not recommend. However was contacted immediately with a very polite response and offer to rectified the problem. That was encouraging, but still don’t think the value is there.

This place has been around forever and I’m a customer off and on for around 20 years now, mostly since it is kind of far from me. Has a divey look and feel to it. It is a really good chicken joint with a pretty big menu/choices and the prices are fair for what you get compared to some fast food places. After reading some of the other reviews I can convey with the occasional grouchy demeanor. Normally it’d be enough to drive me away but overall there are some friendly people here and they always accept/give coupons and normally are accurate on the order. The standard fried chicken pieces are my favorite. I find them to be more tender and succulent than the other fast food places. Chicken sandwiches are good and they seem bigger than average and quite filing. Buffalo wings are delicious. I’m not much of a reviewer but the place is worth a try if you’ve never had it.

I went back here after being contacted by the owner. My wife and I had the baby back ribs and fried chicken with crinkle cut fries. I must say, this time around was a night and day experience from the last time. The ribs fell off the bone, but were not overcooked. The chicken was meaty, and not spitting hot grease. The portion of fries was huge, and nice and crispy. While this still isn’t my favorite batter for fried chicken, I’d recommend you try it because it is different than other places and all taste buds are different. Definitely try the ribs. The fries needed salt, but the way they are served you can add as much or as little as you want. I want to thank Scott for contacting me and being so professional about this. I could tell he really cares about his business and customers and that is respectable.

I love this place. Say what you want, but they have the best damn chicken in the area. Service is great, especially Aviel who is always so friendly when he delivers my food… which is always super fast(Sometimes as quick as chinese food!). I LOVE their chicken cheesesteaks and they are reasonably priced. Been coming here for years and will continue to do so :) Keep up the good work, Chicken galore :) :)

Back in college, I used to go to a fried chicken place up in Binghamton, NY. It was the best fried chicken I ever had, until I tried Chicken Galore. Every once in a while I get an immense craving that has to be satisfied. When I get that, I go to Chicken Galore. I haven’t had their other food, so I cannot comment. Also, the place is very clean for a greasy foods place. Major plus in my book.

Pros: THECHICKEN. Chicken Galore is your trusty, go-to fried chicken restaurant. Their fried chicken is unique and delicious. Don’t sleep on the roasted whole chicken with potatoes either, that is one of the better rotisserie style chickens I’ve ever had. I have to also praise their buffalo wings. No frills here, just good ol’ crispy wings slathered and hot, hotter or hottest buffalo sauce. Cons: Pretty much everything else. Their mashed potatoes of the instant variety and are quite terrible. Their french fries are also beyond lack luster(c’mon guys you FRY chicken… don’t be afraid of salt). Don’t go near the burgers here, they taste more like meatloaf than burger(and not in a good way). Pretty much every wrap or sandwich that I have ever had from here has been bad. From what I gather the place is owned/run by two brothers… one of which if quite friendly and personable, the other comes off as rude and miserable. Customer service is «Ehh», but I guess you shouldn’t expect too much from a fried chicken joint.

Try the Chicken Ranchero wrap or sandwich, you will not be disappointed.
