Perfect place to go when I have a sweet tooth! There’s always something for someone at every time of the day! Whether its coffee and a croissant for breakfast or a delectable sandwich for lunch, they never fail to disappoint!

I ordered a cake for my anniversary few days back. While it tasted good, it was nothing like the picture I had showed. They had charged me for a bigger cake and a much elaborate design. 3 stars for it being delicious. Would have been 5 if they had remembered to follow the instructions.

Great cookies and pastries. Good for parties or a quick treat on the way home from work.

I think people are confused by the name«Cookie Jar». La Bonbonniere took over the Cookie Jar years ago. So I can see how the name can confuse people who aren’t from the area and don’t know of the La Bonbonniere chain. I don’t go there for cookies(though they used to have great butter cookies with sprinkles — simple, yummy goodness). They are, however, my go-to place for cakes, specifically cannoli filling. I don’t do fruit fillings, so I can’t rate their cakes with fruit. But fresh whipped cream, yellow cake, and cannoli filling = perfection. They also make good coconut buns that reminded of the kind of desserts my great grandparents used to bring over to have with coffee and tea. Also, they do a good prune hammentaschen(spelling??), but that’s probably only seasonal.

If you want an amazing wedding cake, this is where you go. I did not purchase the cake myself for my wedding, my father did. The cake was moist and delicious. The strawberries inside were so fresh, it tasted like someone picked them right off the bush. The crème inside was so tasty and the buttercream frosting was absolutely amazing. The cake itself was just stunning. I could not be happier with my wedding cake.

This place does not own up to the name«cookie jar». We went there excited to have a good chocolate chip cookie and we got a pricey, stale and crumbly cookie instead. Probably the best thing they have is the Brown Derby like other Bonbonniere bakeries. But I wouldn’t go here for a cookie. We were disappointed and the staff was a little bit hostile. Not a great impression.

Cookies are overpriced, & not even that good. Basic cookies. Their bread is good. A pre made tray of about 10 assorted cookies costs $ 24. I could go to path mark or shop rite for 5 times that amount. Not worth it in my opinion.

I ordered red velvet cupcakes for my daughters birthday at the Cookie Jar in Woodbridge. Oh my God! I couldnt believe how good they were. The cupcake was the best i’ve ever had and i usually dont like icing but i could not stop licking my fingers. Excellent!

I had a birthday cake special ordered here. I requested fruit and fresh whipped cream. When we cut the cake there was no fruit and it was buttercream. That was disappointing because I was charged for the additions. Even though I felt a bit ripped off the cake was moist and fresh. I might return in the future to give it a second chance.

I really wish that they would sell those cookies with the raspberry jam and sprinkles again. When La Bonbonniere brought the place, they decided not to sell them anymore. Many people, who grew up in Woodbridge, like myself, wish that they would again.
