Five Guys Burgers and Fries

Hamburgers are good to eat at a lot of places but these hamburgers, at Five Guys, are pretty good. But what I really like about the place is you can get hot dogs too and the hot dogs are very good. The default burger comes with double meat and I can’t eat it all so I usually order the small burger. I like the variety of toppings for the burger but I usually get mushrooms and mayo. I think the fries are good but anytime the fries are not coated, like at Burger King, then I like them. These fries are a good size, not the shoestrings you get at McDonalds or even worse the horrible fries at Smashburgers. I like the free peanuts too but they don’t seem to encourage you to throw the shells on the floor like they used to.

I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was DELICIOUS! The burger was so juicy and the bacon is nice and crispy! I also had a large order of fries and it was a lot bigger than I expected! When it comes to the fries if you order a regular or large, they really fill up the cup! I don’t go to five guys often because it’s a bit expensive but it’s always good every time I get five guys!

Ordered three burgers and a large fries. Everything was delicious. Burger was made exactly how I ordered it. Gave us fries enough for five people with just one order. Restaurant was clean and everyone was really friendly. Would definitely go back.

This is the best five guys I’ve been too. They don’t overcook the burgers here, the people are very friendly. It’s always good.

What I got was truly mediocre. I’d give it 2.5 stars if I could. Fries were soggy and limp. Burger patties were dry and I’m 99% positive they use canned mushrooms. In all my years of cooking mushrooms, I’ve never been able to achieve that rubbery consistency you get from a can. I’m disappointed, cuz it was truly MEH. Probably will just go to Silver Diner for burgers from now on since they use high quality grass-​fed beef, cook to preferred temp and the toppings are fresh, even at midnight. q

Not sure what all the hype is about. First, I’ve been to place a couple times and it’s almost always empty. That should tell you something right there. The burgers are OK but nothing special. They can’t compare to a Fuddruckers hamburger. Yes, they give you a ridiculous amount of fries but they’re not that great and usually soggy. You’re basically getting glorified fast food at a premium price. Don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Loooooooove Five Guys!!! The best burger in the area.

This location is pretty good. Of course the food is but the service was great. The only thing is that the condensation from one of the exposed pipes drips on you if you stand under it unknowingly. The prices are high but then that’s five guys for you.

Five Guys is THE best chain burger. Period.
1. The patties are pretty juicy, despite the fact that the burger guys will NOT prepare yours any less than well-​done.
2. The fries (even though I’m not supposed to eat this stuff) are simple — fresh cut potatoes. They emphasize the fresh part by staging their potatoes all over the store locations.
3. Plentiful toppings — at no extra charge.
Bring a friend if you order the fries, they portion that’s served could feed a small Cambodian village.

Product is the same with other Five Guys but their buns here always get really soaked and soggy here and I haven’t figured out why because I never order any additional sauce on my burger. I also think that they staff here aren’t all that warm and friendly here.

Way to expensive for a regular burger, but I’m fine with the price, but what I’m not fine now is that the size in fries have gone down, I mean, if I’m gonna pay $ 3 for a stupid order of FF, I better get the exact same that I used to. In my last couple of visits, the size of the fries barely fill up half the paper bag, whereas before I could barely close the bag… sorry but this is the 2^nd time that happened and I think I’m going to WAWA an get my $ 5 10″ long chicken sub and I can definitely get a family size bag of potato chips for $ 3 and likely to last me for another 3 more 10″ chicken subs.

Five Guys is like meat-​n-​potato porn. You go for a burger and you get a damn tasty burger. You want to add twelve pounds of extras at no charge? Be my guest. «Pardon me sir, but I couldn’t help but notice those tasty fries.» «Why, yes, they are from Des Moines, Iowa.» «BAM!»

Five Guys is the closet thing we have around here that could compare to the In-​Out Burger in California. Even though I don’t eat at Five Guys on a regular basis (I would die of a heart attack if I did), I don’t know where I would go if they were no longer around. To but it bluntly, they are simply the best burger chain in the Washington DC area and if I want a great thick juicy hamburger, this place is the first spot I’d go.
The prices are great just so long as you don’t get a drink or fries — which of course you always do. That’s how the restaurant survives: by charging alot for the fries and the drinks. All the burgers are non-​frozen ground beef made with the freshest ingredients.
Big PLUS: This particular Five Guys has the new Coca-​Cola multi-​flavor machines. They are da bomb! Multiple flavored sodas and soft drink flavors, you can have vanilla coke, rasberry coke, strawberry coke. Peach flavored Sprite, Cherry tea with a squirt of lime flavor. The combinations seem endless. AWESOME!!! I love the multi-​flavor coke dispenser and they come with free refills so you can experiment to your hearts content.
I don’t know if this restaurant is a training location because they have a rather large office behind the counter. Also, the store is always kept really clean and the service is always great. I love Five Guys… this one in particular.

Everyone here loves Five Guys, and this location is typical of the chain. The tables are almost never clean (but are they at any Five Guys?).
I tried the Cajun fries for the first time, and was surprised they were fairly mild. They were quite good. I feared it would be overpowering, but it was not.
I wish they had Cherry Coke, but other than that, Five Guys is a local fav, and if you like them, you will like this one.

One thing Five Guys does really well is serve a burger that’s extra juicy. It tastes great and goes down easily. Some might say it’s just extra grease, but it doesn’t turn the bun to mush or make me feel sick to my stomach afterward like grease would.
The choices of extra toppings are great. I keep mine simple, but friends really choices like grilled or fresh onions, sauteed mushrooms, and chilled pickles served on the side so they stay crisp.
If you’re worried about your waistline or your budget, considering getting the Small Burger. It’s actually a standard sized single patty. The normal burger is a double patty. And plan to share the fries. A regular order can feed two adults, a large feeds 3 – 4.

Five Guys makes the best fast food burger. Everyone I have been to is pretty much on par with the next.
The fries are fresh and they give you a LOT.
This location is in the Home Depot and Kohls parking lot, so it’s convenient. The Cheeseburger in Paradise, and Carrabas is also in the same lot.
If your hungry for a fast food burger, this is the place.
Note: While I say it’s a fast food burger, it takes a little while to get your burger, but this is actually a good thing. They cook each burger to order, no pre-​made burgers here, and you can watch them make it too.

Pretty good food. I like the fact that the menu has few options, so it makes it easier to make decisions. And all the toppings — lettuce, tomatoes, cooked mushrooms or onions, etc — come free of charge. The fries are pretty good — in fact, they gave us way more than the 2 larges we ordered for take out.
They also humored us by putting a lot of the toppings on the sides for us, so we could take it back to the house full of hungry people & let them all decide what they wanted there.
I’d go back.

This particular Five Guys location is right around the corner from my house. The service at this five guys location is pretty quick. The wife and I usually only get through one lil tray of peanuts before our burgers and fries are ready.
The quality is what you would expect from Five Guys. Good, tasty burgers and an overabundant amount of their fries. I just love the way they do fries here… fill the serving cup up with fries and then dump 83 more scoops of them into the bag with the rest of your food. Plus the fact that they have malt vinegar as a choice for the fries. Yummo, I tell you. Yummo.
Good location. Good burgers. Good stuff.
