I went to Carrabah’s the other night and as I drove out of the parking lot I looked over at Cheeseburgers in Paradise and it had a sign that said«Location closed» and there seemed to be NO Cheeseburger in Paradise sign. So it appeared to be closed. I’ll try and drive by again soon and see what is going on. I’m not surprised if it did close as a restaurant based on a Jimmy Buffet song of a cheeseburger in paradise didn’t have much going for it in the first place. I mean there are a LOT of places around here to get a cheeseburger. Hey, I drove back to the place tonight 4⁄72013 and there are two signs in the window. The first sign says«This location is closed» and the second sign says«Coming soon, Fuddruckers». Maybe Cheseburgers in Paradise discovered that Woodbridge wasn’t quite paradise so they closed. And of course if you go to the website for Cheeseburgers In Paradise they give you NO indication that the Woodbridge location is closed. They want you to find out the hard way. Just so everyone knows, I have REPEATEDLY told Unilocal that this place is closed. They apparently pay no attention. I think I have told them over 20 times that the place went out of business. I have NOIDEA how to get Unilocal to respond. They seem asleep at the switch. Good thing they aren’t operating a railroad or there would be major problems. June 11th2014 the restaurant is still closed. The old Fuddruckers on Prince William Parkway has been converted to a McDonald’s. And while I was taking a look at the building I saw a guy working there who said still a month and a half or two months before it will reopen as Fuddruckers.

The food here is ok. The prices are low so you get what you pay for. Service here is usually faster because its never crowded. The cool thing is they have the temperature of beer on display above the bar if you’re coming for drinks

I’ve had some pleasing experiences at other Cheeseburger in Paradise locations, but this one was an absolute nightmare. I stopped in with my girlfriend around 6pm on a Tuesday evening. The restaurant was hardly busy(about 10 – 15 people total) and the hostess was friendly enough to offer us some outside seating since the weather was beautiful. Excited, we took an outside table, and let our mouths begin to water as we glanced over the menu. This is when the nightmare began: Ten minutes after being sat, no one came by to take our drink orders. Thinking there may have been some confusion, I went inside and found a teenage waiter lazily resting on the bar. I say, «Excuse me sir. We have been sitting for a while and no one has bothered to even help us. Who is our waiter/waitress?» He replies, «Oh umm. I dunno. Let me see who it is and umm… if no one, I’ll be your waiter.» Sufficient enough, I sit back down and resume the wait. Another 10 minutes pass. During this time, a table of 4 that had come in after us is being served like royalty. Their waitress has their table decorated with mixed drinks and appetizers. She passes us back and forth without blinking an eye. Across from us, a yappy group of drunken college girls are being delivered alcohol by two different waiters, both of whom also pretend we don’t exist. I finally catch the attention of one of them and say, «Sir, we’ve already inquired about a waiter/waitress and no one has helped us. We’ve been sitting here for 20 minutes and not a single person has helped us.» This waiter, appearing more dumbfounded than the first says, «Yeah. I’ll see what’s going on with that and get back to you.» No one ever got back to us. We sat there like invisible, homeless stragglers begging for change. A total of 30 minutes passed and we never even had a chance to sip on a glass of water. All around us, people dined and drank, most of whom arrived at the same time or after us. It was unacceptable and outrageous. It felt like a joke, except we weren’t laughing. We got up, left, and took our business to a nearby Applebee’s. The Verdict: Cheeseburger in Paradise is a restaurant chain that I typically admire for its Jimmy Buffet inspired tropical dining experience and tiki hawaiian atmosphere. Unfortunately, this experience can only be provided should the staff and management be competent enough to deliver it. In this regard, this location fails on every level. Avoid this atrocity of a restaurant like the plague.

not excellent I would say that the burgers are great which is to be expected. and the service was good as well. I will definitely go back. 4 stars just for no real wow factor

Not a bad little place. Although when my son opened his silverware wrap there was a piece of gum stuck inside the napkin. We brought it up to the waitress who told the manager. The waitress came back to the table and said that the manager will comp one of our meals which was nice. The surprising part was that the manager never came by our table at all. I emailed the compliment/complaint portion of their website and no reply. I even added them in a tweet I did about the whole thing, and they favorited my tweet! Im the management is a joke. I was pretty surprised by the whole thing. Overall the food was good, we went during lunch time on Presidents day so it wasn’t busy at all, but I hope you have a better experience than I did.

The burgers were good, the beer was cold, and the service was good. We will go back. Nothing spectacular but nothing horrible either.

Tried dinner here a while ago with my guys. Service was great and my little prince was so happy to steal some of Dada’s frickles(fried pickles) and he was tickled that even his Apple Juice came out with an umbrella in it. I had fish tacos and while they weren’t authentic, they did the job. My side salad was delish and we enjoyed our drinks as well. With my kid walking out of there smiling from ear to ear, we will definitely be back.

Ok. Went yesterday for lunch. Service was great and food came out fast and hot. My turkey burger was 100% pre made with no seasoning. The manager came out and told me that they are normally are seasoned. They did take it off the check. Onion rings were over cooked. The wings are great! I will go back again just for the wings

Just tried to order pretzels to go from here… Drove there. Just to find out the idiot hostesses doesn’t know her menu and they no longer sell pretzels. You’d think the new management would teach their staff better but it still seems they fail at that.

Decent burgers and beverages. We come here mostly for the atmosphere and because its convenient. There are also many alternative to just burgers.

Not bad, not bad… I prefer to go here for happy hour. I’ve been for dinner and meh, it was okay… I think for me they’re food can be a little greasy. But during happy hour they had the cutest and the tastiest sangrias, the blackberry was the best. Not bad pricing, I think my sangrias were about $ 3 – 4 dollars a piece, I didn’t get wasted nor tipsy, I was able to enjoy my sangria, which was perfect for me.

These are good burgers… but they are not the type of burgers you would want to get when you have a burger craving. Décor is definitely questionable to each customer that comes in. My burger was juicy, tasty, and nothing really wrong with it. Fries were also tasty was well, nothing bad. Service was good as well. Like I said there isn’t anything wrong with this place, its just has the unfortunate luck of being right next to a 5Guys.

The atmosphere at Cheeseburger in Paradise is really great. It’s laid back and they always have great music playing(lots of Jimmy Buffet(obviously) and Dave Matthews Band. Fine by me!). The servers were always very pleasant as well. On to the food and drinks. There was one appetizer, which included guacomole, spinach dip, and some sort of crab cheese dip and chips. This appetizer is SOGOOD. All of the dips are fantastic! They’re fresh and very tasty. I can’t say enough good things about them! I only wish this was a larger size because I could easily down the entire thing by myself, in lieu of a meal. I have had multiple sandwiches, burgers and wraps here, none of which were particularly good. Not to say that they’re bad — they’re just kind of blah. The desserts are good. Definitely no complaints here about the desserts. And the drinks. What is there to say about the drinks? They are excellent and Cheeseburger in Paradise has a HUGE selection of specialty drinks. I tried a few and they were all excellent. My favorite was the Lady of the Sea, which had layers of frozen sangria, pina colado, and strawberry daquiri. A really great and refreshing combination. They don’t skimp on the alcohol either. Despite the meals not being all that great, Cheeseburger in Paradise gets 3 stars for me because 1) though the meals isn’t particularly good, it isn’t bad, 2) the apps and desserts are excellent and 3) the drinks are great too!

I enjoy the food and the atmosphere. I do feel that there is so much more that cuold be done, most without expense to business that would do wonders for the place. Other than once, every server has been great, attentive and personable. I have to assume that the one was having a bad day. Personally, I LOVE that it is in Woodbridge. being in the area myself, I gotta tell you that I hate driving North and would prefer that the fewest people possible make the drive to crowd out my favorite places to go.

We really do love this place. Came here with a group about 3 months ago and then we’ve come back 6 times since. Great atmosphere with the Jimmy Buffet theme. The waitresses we have had have all been great and they have tons of TV’s that’s can see from almost any seat. The food is great and they specialize in various hamburgers. The biggest thing for me is that they are cooked correctly. I like medium rare and they ae always great.

Decent, not amazing. I had a good time here the other day with my girlfriend while we waited to get our windows on our cars tinted. It was pretty tasty, but nothing to write home about. Lots of variety, though, and I’m sure it’s great for kids. It’s kind of behind the times, though… even Red Robin kind of has this place beat. Not bad, though, if you’re looking for a «good enough» change of pace from Five Guys, etc.

Cheeseburger in Paradise is a fun place with unfortunately a lot of missed potential. First of all, the atmosphere is very chill. It feels like you’re in Key West every time you step into the place which is awesome. On a nice summer evening, they open up the side of the building by the patio and light the tiki torches. Beautiful. There used to be a ring toss game set up outside which would be PERFECT in the summer. However, it’s no longer there. There is a corn hole set inside but who wants to play corn hole inside? It’s a game to play outside in the warm weather with a beer in your hand. Not surrounded by booths. The food is decent but nothing too great. The wings are solid and there’s this one burger made on sourdough bread that’s delicious. We usually sit in the bar area to watch sports. The tv set up is alright — they could use more. The bartenders are always on top of their game and very friendly. The massive beer tubes are great to share with a friend — your own personal bartender! Cheeseburger is definitely one of the bars I keep going back to in Woodbridge. It’s one of the best in the area. It could just be so much more.

While the food can sometimes be good here, it is far too hit-or-miss for me to give it any more than three stars. The last time I went, 4:00 on a Sunday, the place was very empty with the exception of the football crowd in the bar. When we were seated, I easily and quickly noticed that the tables were NOT wiped clean. In fact, they were gross. I always have to wonder how clean the kitchen is if they cannot even keep the tables clean. It is a shame. My food on this visit was pretty good, but I have been here in the past and have had awful meals.

I went here for a weekday lunch with some coworkers, and this place was almost completely empty, I guess there aren’t enough offices nearby for them to get busy until dinner. The décor is like a tiki version of Applebees, but the service and food were fine, so it turned out to be a perfectly pleasant lunch. I decided to go with the bacon cheeseburger and fries, and while the fries were just your usual bar fries, the burger was surprisingly juicy for a chain. The bacon was also much higher quality than I would have expected, none of that paper-thin stuff you get at a lot of places, this was good thick bacon, and well cooked(nothing worse than getting limp, fatty bacon on a burger). I wouldn’t go all the way down to Woodbridge just for this place, but if I was in the area and looking for a burger I would certainly go back.
