Men’s Wearhouse and Tux

I was measured in California for a wedding in Woodbrindge, NJ. FIrst… Levet called me a week before the event to come try my tux on, Too bad I was not in the area yet. I made it into the store two days before the wedding. Apparently the person who measured in CA did it incorrectly and the pants came in 4 inches too short. The young man working ordered me new pants right away and assured me they would be there before opening. Sure enough I called before opening and Levet answered. She told me if I could find a way in the mall before opening, she would get the pants to me. Sure enough, I gained access to the mall thru a side entrance. I tried the pants on and they were perfect. Happy ending. Thank you Levet and team for excellent customer service!

The only reason I am giving 1 star is because the tuxedo looked somewhat good. This was after going to 5 different stores trying to get it piece by piece. Their customer service was dreadful, when I went to pick up the tuxedo, I was told numerous pieces were «subbed» out and that it was my responsibility to get them. I ordered (and paid for) suspenders which 5 STORES DID NOT HAVE. How can you not have a single pair of suspenders? It was my brother’s wedding day and I had to spend the entire day trying to get my tuxedo order correct, how terrible is that? The people working at the store could care less, and when I returned the tux and told them I didn’t get the suspenders, I was standing there for a half hour while they tried to refund my $ 2.50. It was an overall miserable experience and I recommend taking your business elsewhere, I know I will be.

Went in to get set up with a tux rental for my wedding. Was quickly helped and very easy process. Was helped by Nick who was knowledgable and friendly. I need to pick up the tux in another state so this process seems very straightforward too. The cost was in line with what I was expecting to pay, even pretty reasonable, about $ 150 for the whole thing. If I needed formal wear rentals in the future I would go back.

I was in a hurry to buy something for my husband (a sweater preferably) and it served my purpose. Service was, so so but all in all solid. Choice wasn’t something special, solid brands and models but not in too many variations…

I went to this location to choose tuxes for my groomsmen. Upon walking in, we noticed that we were the only people in the store. The female employee was loudly talking on her personal cell phone and did not acknowledge us. We waited for several minutes and I tried to make eye contact with her, but she just kept on talking about her evening plans. With so many Men’s Wearhouses out there, I would recommend going elsewhere… or at least waiting around for more professional employees. We ended up going to the Edison location and had a much better experience.

It’s almost a cliché that buying a suit in a mall isn’t all that advisable. When I googled this particular Men’s Warehouse, I had no idea it was actually a small store inside the mall. The way the assistant manager explained it to me, this was once another chain of men’s clothing stores they bought out, so this location «became» a «Men’s Warehouse».
Anyhow, don’t expect anything grand here, this is a fairly small store with an area in the back with several rooms to try on clothing. However, the store is nicely organized, with everything laid out in a way that’s easy to find. When I entered, I admit I was a bit worried since it was so small. However, when the assistant manager (I believe her name was Lolly) greeted me, the way she spoke and her bearing showed me I was dealing with a professional, and that was encouraging.
After several minutes of talking about the suit type I wanted, she patiently helped me try on various jackets and picked out a few pants for me to try on. I was very happy with my selections. However, the pants needed adjustment and this location doesn’t have a tailor on site. Instead, I was referred to the one over in Menlo Park.
I went to Men’s Warehouse for good service and selection. While the selection was a bit limited due to the store size, the service was exceptional and I’d happily go back again.
