Please don’t eat here. I had a Groupon. Turns out it was only good for Manassas, not Woodbridge but I ordered anyway. Fried chicken breast and thigh were ok but smaller pieces were so over cooked. Slaw is tasteless, yuca is dry as a bone. No sauces. I had to wait while they made the corn salad for me. I got about a 1⁄3 of a cup of salad for 2.59! It had no taste. What a rip off. Guappo’s…I am so very sorry I strayed.

You can’t go wrong with chicken rice and beans buuuut I’ve had better. This place isn’t bad at all, every time I come here I am satisfied! IDK what they use for the seasoning for the crust on the chicken but it’s pretty good. I never went outside the box and tried other things than the usual chicken rice and beans. For me it’s a place I’ll go to if I’m hungry and need something more fulfilling than Wendy’s McDonald etc. Plus it’s 3 minuets from my house. I’ll give it 3 stars because it’s not spectacular buts it’s not bad also it’s in between. Prices are reasonable except for the $ 2.50 up charge for an extra. Try it out but don’t expect to be head over heels!

I am fan of Pollo Campero. Unfortunately this location seems to be out of chicken breast and wings! They are also out of drinks like Horchata. When I asked the young lady at window, How can you run a Pollo Campero without enough chicken? She replied: Our managers are watching inventory…

I stopped here wanting to try something new and actually left with nothing… yes the drive through. They didn’t have two different main items I wanted. How can you specialize in chicken but not have chicken? All I wanted was chicken that was not fried. Not only did they not have the grilled chicken, the woman was sarcastic and rude. I will not be returning.

This place could have had 5 stars from me but unfortunately the workers there make it hard to give it a 5 star. The food is absolutely tasty and I like this place very much but unfortunately everytime I go here I remember why I haven’t been there in a while. Everytime I come here my friend and I go to the drive through and order 2 meals. The Hispanic ladies always act like they pay for the sauce out of their pockets or something. You should at least be allowed to have 2 sauces for each order to put on ur food. The sauce gives it the flavor! But when I ask for one sauce they always have an attitude and say it’s 25 cents like really what the heck? ! How can you be so stingy about a damn sauce. Like really it’s ridiculous to lose customers over something so ridiculous. The girl ALAINA that was«helping» us today kept telling she can’t give me a sauce and we had ordered 2 meals! She was rude about it and had an attitude. It’s very dissapointing and it honestly makes me not wanna go back just for that one issue that always tends to happen unless the very nice White girl is working. She’s the best and she’s very respectful and always smiles! We are always lucky when she’s the one helping us! This place needs more people like her!

I stopped here out of curiosity… it reminded me of the chicken restaurant in Breaking Bad… lol. I saw empanadas on the menu and it looked good – that’s really what I wanted. «We don’t have empanadas today» said the cashier. I should have just left but I quickly ordered these chicken nugget looking things and rice. Food took a long time to be ready, wasn’t all that fantastic tasting. Save your money.

The chicken’s seasoning and flavor is much really as good as the Pollo Campero I’ve had in El Salvador, & the portion sizes are smaller here than in Central America, And considering how it’s priced I expect a pretty good sized piece of chicken. Other then that, this place is good. I love the fried yuca, different than how some other places serve it, a lot softer. Cool idea with the drive thru as well. And also, You kind of get the authentic feel of being in Central America with the inside looks and the employees not really knowing English haha

If I could give no stars I would. Worst customer service of all times! There was no line and they were not busy. The girl who took our order wasn’t friendly. When I was telling her what I wanted she looked at me and turned her face and talked to my boyfriend in Spanish asking him what he wanted first. Talk about rude! We were both shocked and yet again she didn’t acknowledge my existence when I said something again. We left the place without ordering. If it wasn’t for my boyfriend, I would’ve made a scene because of how upset I am. Never coming back.

Went back again to give it another chance and was once again let down. No grilled chicken, the«camperitos» were ridiculously tiny, only redeemable factor was the platanos which were OK. The place was dirty, no one cleaning tables. My brother, who lives in Florida tried to compare it to Pollo Tropical, but said it was shite as well. I’m sticking with Guapos, much better food, better experience, nicer people. Colombians from what I’ve heard. PC is just some investors trying to make $$$ from the locals on fried chicken. Make a healthier menu and maybe business would be better.

The service sucks big time only one cashier to serve and to attend the customers, no consideration whatsoever with customers. Extremely slow service that I walked out the store with no food.

I came here with my girlfriend in hopes of trying a new locale for Central American yums outside of El Pollo Rico or Kikiriki. We ordered a chicken bowl and a grilled chicken meal with Horchada and Maringo for drinks. After 5 minutes of waiting, a lady tells us it will be a 15 minute wait for the chicken meal. What? It wasn’t even busy, how could there be a wait(15 minutes at that) for chicken? The restaurant specializes in chicken! Halfway through the wait, a lady brings us my chicken bowl and her french fries in some half attempt to please us with incomplete meals. She then brought me the wrong drink(Jamaica) which we had to correct when the«remainder» of our meal finally arrived. Food was OK at best. The Horchada and Maringo were sweet beyond desirable. I threw my drink out after two sips. The grilled chicken was dry and required a ton of ketchup for moisture and taste. Chicken bowl was 90% rice and tasted like a Lean Cuisine. Communication with the employees was still a hassle even if you speak fluent Spanish. Lastly, this all came wrapped in an overpriced $ 18 package. Go to El Pollo Rico where $ 18 sends your taste buds to heaven. Overall, not a good dining experience. Fast food should be cheap and quick. This place was neither. Service was awful and food was forgettable.

FOOD: For some reason the one in Annandale has more flavor. I would like to see consistency. Food is ok/blah. SERVICE: Good service RESTAURANT: Average fast food place. Nothing special, but decent.

Not a satisfactory visit to say the least! I ordered a 2 piece chicken meal and got one. When I brought it back, I informed him that I ordered a 2 piece meal and he said that’s how it comes… so why call it a 2 piece? Chicken was dry and thought I could snaz it up with hot sauce but was quickly informed that they don’t carry hot sauce?! How you not gonna have hot sauce at a chicken joint? I will not return, EVER!

Try to come when the line isn’t out the door. Compared to all the other ones I have been to this one is just OK. The food was decent for the amount of people lined out the door. They didn’t have the tacos, pico de gallo or salsa verde like the location in Manassas so I will probably just keep going to the Manassas store until they get on par with the other ones.

I thought the long lines wrapped around the building were a good indication. NOT! I tried the grilled chicken(leg/thigh) portion with rice. It was just okay. Nothing any other fast food restaurant hasn’t accomplished. Maybe next time I’ll try the fried chicken. Service was slow but that’s expected with the size of the crowds. I’ll give it another try and maybe then I’ll change my rating. For now? It’s just okay.

Can’t wait to go back again!!! Congrats Pollo Campero.

Pretty good. It’s their first day and they are swamped. The fryers can’t keep up with demand so expect to wait a long time both before and after you order. That said, the food we received was pretty good. My wife, who is from Guatemala, said it tasted pretty close to what Pollo Campero is like over there. The fried chicken is the star and is juicy and a little bit greasy. The flavor isn’t spicy, it’s just a little different — more savory. Don’t get the fries — they’re nothing to write home about. Ours were limp by the time we got home. One side item you MUST try though are the campero pinto beans. They were incredible. Service was pretty good. You could tell they were under a lot of stress but everyone we came in contact with seemed to be trying really hard. Well come back definitely when it calms down. During these busy times though get your food to go. The dining room is chaotic and too small to handle the large lines.
