This place has really gone downhill. My family used to eat here pretty frequently 5 – 10 years ago and we considered this to be one of the better Red Lobsters we have gone to. In a recent visit this month, we had the NY Strip and Rock Lobster tail dish and the grilled salmon. The food seemed really overcooked and/or reheated, definitely not fresh or piping hot like we have come to expect from our past visits. Not even the cheddar bay biscuits could salvage the meal… those seemed lukewarm and reheated as well. In addition, the service was pretty slow… the server could have checked back more frequently, we only got one serving of cheddar bay biscuits, and it took a long time to pay the check. Disappointing.

Went with my bestie and we had an awesome time. While our poor server was very busy she was attentive. I can’t remember her name but it was a Greek style name lovely woman! We had the Raspberry & Mango punch with complimentary glasses, loved the Raspberry one; didn’t care for Mango, but I don’t like mango. Then we had the biscuits arrive with our drinks. We ordered the Shrimp lettuce wrap appetizer. Our only complaint would be not enough lettuce or jalapeño, we had to cut them in half to get some in each leaf. Ended up finishing with forks because we ran out of lettuce. But it was awesome! I got the Triple Grill plate(lobster, shrimp and salmon). I asked for medium salmon and she said it may not happen, but she’ll put it in the order. It was close, I find the well-done too dry and bland. My bestie had the lobster platter. We were disappointed in the salads as it was all white parts of the lettuce and almost no green, but that is minor. We were there for the lobster! I had a beer with my dinner and realized she forgot my friends when I prompted her she returned before I had finished my bite with my friends wine! WOW! Was shocked at the bill, but I don’t go out often so it was expected. We had an awesome time and the manager lady came by and checked in on us. It was a good experience.

Always dependable seafood. Good service. Took the Unilocal coupon without issue. Lobster scampi was ok if you like scampi — just realize I don’t. Ultimate feast was more than enough for my 13 yr old son who has a hallow leg apparently.

I usually don’t write about chain restaurants but this was by far one of the best casual dining experiences I’ve had! Sunday, March 15 after a long day of shopping Red Lobster was suggested when I mentioned that I wanted seafood for dinner. I must admit I was hesitant because I have not had a great experience at Red Lobster in many years. Then I walked into the Woodbridge, Red Lobster… We arrived at 6:30pm and there were a few families and couples waiting to be seated so we decided to sit at the bar. Nick, one of the bartenders greeted us immediately and offered to take our drink order and brought out a basket of the signature garlic biscuits that always want to make you eat more. After he dropped the biscuits Amanda another bartender proceeded to greet us and take our food orders. The transition from Nick to Amanda was seamless. You could tell that staff worked as a team and it showed. I ordered the Lobster Bake and it was delicious. Normally, I would have ordered dessert but I was full after eating only half of my entrée. Overall, I have nothing but great things to say about the Woodbridge, Red Lobster. I will definitely return. Job well done to the managers and staff!

A couple of friends and I were in from way out of town for a wedding. We’d arrived right around dinner time on a Friday night. Waits were to be expected, and so we settled on Red Lobster with the estimated wait time we could stomach the most after 9 hours on the road. The wait was a bit longer for a table than the 30 – 35 minutes we were quoted, and I’ve got no bones with that — estimates are just that, after all. I did, however, have a bit of an issue with the fact that we had to wait at our table for an additional 20 – 30 minutes to be greeted, all while patrons who were seated after us had their orders taken. Once we finally flagged someone down to help us, we were brought our salads and bread. No drinks. Our drinks, in fact, didn’t arrive until 20 minutes after we ordered, only just before the meal came out. That’s a bit of time for two mixed drinks and a beer. Two stars are earned for the food being precisely what I’ve come to expect from Red Lobster, which is perfectly enjoyable. Good food can only go so far if the process of getting it there is broken. I don’t know when or if I’ll ever find myself in VA again, but if I am, I may consider waiting elsewhere.

Unlimited shrimp… I don’t think I have to say anything else to convince you to come here! The service and food was great. I got the unlimited shrimp and I left the restaurant stuffed and satisfied. There were six shrimp options to choose from. You can choose three out of the six to be included in your unlimited shrimp meal. You can get refills on the three you choose. I chose three of them and my boyfriend chose the three other ones. Out of all of the choices I will list them in order from my favorite to least favorite: 1) coconut shrimp– this was so delicious. It was fried shrimp coated in coconut flakes. It came with a sweet piña colada sauce. It was perfectly crispy and the sauce made it that much better! 2) shrimp Alfredo– this was alfredo pasta with shrimp on top. It helped balance all the shrimp and added some carbs to the meal. 3) hand battered shrimp– this was shrimp fried with batter and it came with cocktail sauce. This was crispy. 4) shrimp saracha– this was shrimp on a skewer and it was grilled and drizzled with saracha hot sauce. It came on a bed of rice. This was very flavorful and tasty. There was not a lot of rice which was good because it didn’t fill you up. 5⁄6) Parmesan shrimp? And butter shrimp? Uhhhh I honestly don’t remember the last two because they were not that memorable. The last two shrimp options tasted the same and looked the same too. One just had cheese melted on top of it. If I was to get only three out of the six options I would choose the coconut shrimp(fried goodness), shrimp alfredo(for a carb), and the shrimp with saracha sauce(a shrimp that is grilled). The unlimited shrimp came with a side salad and a side. I got fries and a garden salad with a red wine vinaigrette. They also had this awesome bread. It was warm and toasty. We also got some great frozen drink from here at a great price. The drinks were sweet and cold. It was garnished with real fruits and looked so pretty– tasted even better. The service was great. We had an awesome server(ann) who made sure we were taken care of and she was attentive to our needs. She made sure the shrimp refills came out accordingly.

We had the most fun I can remember having at a restaurant in a long time! My darling cousin forgot to make reservations in the mist of her graduation prep. I called red lobster about 10 minutes before arriving and told them I had a party of 15 coming. They say they will be ready for us. They work. However what my cousin forgot to tell me was there were about 20 more people who were going to show up who had not been at the graduation LOL. So we really ended up with a party of around 35!!! They happily scrambled to accommodate our party girl even after the rest of us had been seated. The manager gave us complimentary appetizers. And once the kitchen got going, the fresh and delicious cheddar biscuits just kept on coming!!! Our server Charelle did a fantastic job. She had other tables in the restaurant but every time we looked up she was nearby making sure everyone in our party children included were well fed and didn’t wait long for anything. My family frequents this location so we will definitely be back. Good job Red Lobster on quickly and skillfully accommodating our crazy party and making sure we had a great time of fellowship with our family!
