Stopped by this place whilst doing some solo shopping at Ikea. Quiet glad I came in for the lunch buffet. It was about 1:30 when I walked in the place was buzzing. A very well kept, pleasant environment. A plethora of white shirt clad servers handling the tables at a speedy, yet organized pace. The food was great — very flavourful, yet mild. Amazing aroma and presentation is A1. The only reason I dinged a star was for selection. The butter chicken was to die for so I happily had a few plates of that, but would have enjoyed a couple more«main dishes» to try. If you’re in the area, give it a go! I’m definitely coming back.

Nice place to sit down and eat, however, I gave it 3 stars because the buffet had limited selection, apart from the butter chicken and the tandori chicken, the rest was pretty bland. I am not coming back here and therefore wouldn’t recommend based on my experience.

Decided on Indian food and figured I had seen this place for years but never stopped in. Now I am left asking why??? The ambiance is amazing, the bar is fully stocked and fun. The food out of this world delicious. I called ahead and placed order. Was greeted twice with the most friendly welcoming greeting. I would def. Recommend this place if your in the area and got a craving for Indian food.

From the warm and inviting welcome to the friendly staff, this place really sets the bar high. They also accommodate the Vegan Diet. The food was delightful yet spiced with bold authenticity. Family friendly and the staff is outrageously professional! Five stars all around!

My favorite Indian food restaurant! The rogan josh and butter chicken are fabulous(pretty much what I always get). The food has so much flavor. I also like the relaxing atmosphere and live piano player they have sometimes. The lunch buffets are great even though there’s no lamb and they tend to get very crowded.

Great food. Butter chicken, tandoori chicken and pakora were the highlights. Also great butter Naan, Great service. The best Indian food I’ve had in the US and maybe anywhere. The only comparable food I tried was in Dubai, but it was a long time ago, so I can’t really compare them properly. This is a real gem.

Happened to be in the area and wanted Indian. Found Taste Of Tandoor just s short walk away from my hotel. I’m glad I found it. I was really wanting Tandoori Chicken, and this restaurant really delivered. I chose spicy, and wasn’t disappointed. The taste was amazing. Very flavorful, and very tender. Next time I’m in the area, I’ll definitely come back.

After reading the reviews on here I thought I would give this place a try. Stopped in and had the lunch buffet. Got there early so everything was hot and fresh. Butter Chicken was great. Big chunks of chicken floating in a creamy delicious sauce. Tandoori chicken was good. Spicy bone in skinless chicken thighs pleasantly spiced and grilled. Rice was cooked perfectly. Yoghurt sauce was delicious accompaniment to the spicy dishes. Freshly made naan were bought to the table hot and fresh. Highly recommend this place. May try it sometime for dinner off a seemingly very large menu.

I’ve visited twice in one week and have enjoyed everything! My experience with Indian food is pretty limited but it most definitely won’t be from now on. The vegan dishes are as great as the dishes featuring meat or dairy. And i do mean featuring because the spices and flavors combos are the stars of the plate. They were even able to make me a vegan mango lassi.

My wife and just moved to Clifton and yesterday we had the hankering for some Indian food. Taste of Tandoor had the best online rating of all the local restaurants so it’s where we ended up going. I had the Lamb Vindaloo with some Kashmiri Naan and a side of Masala Chai. The food was excellent. The owner was also working last night and he came by the table to check on our food and we ended up chatting for about 30 minutes. He had lots of great stories and an interesting perspective on life. It’s always great to meet people who have worked hard to succeed in life. My wife and I will definitely be regulars from now on. #TasteOfTandoor

Located inside of a plaza. This restaurant had good ratings on average, so we gave it a try. Came on a Friday night and it wasn’t too busy. I have to say, I did like the atmosphere; cute for a date spot. They had a live piano player that day too. But when the food came out, I honestly didn’t like most of them. The lamb dish was just okay, and I like the naan bread, but that’s about it. The food just tasted bland for the most part. Nothing wow to me, so most likely we’re not coming back.

With the good food at Taste of Tandoor and amazing stuff going on next door at Kababayan, this block is quickly becoming my favorite in Woodbridge. Yes the exterior may seem modest but the dining room inside has cloth napkins and tablecloths with waiters dressed up and sometimes even a piano player. Samosas are on the list of items that I’m always down to eat because it’s crispy fried and filled with potatoes and this veggie version is real good. The papri chaat was good but I wasn’t expecting it to be cold so I’m glad I tried something new – flavors were great but the temperature put me off. Butter chicken was, well, buttery delicious. The chicken was tender and so full of flavor. We ate all of the chicken and then poured the rest of the sauce over rice and ate all of that too. The palak paneer was good but I definitely wanted more paneer to go with all that palak haha. The mango lassi was delicious and refreshing but a bit sweet for me to finish the whole thing on my own. Garlic naan was delicious and went well with all of the dishes. Overall, I expected a bit more for the price. I’m happy to say that there’s a solid spot for Indian food in this area!

We were in the area and looked up a good place to eat on Unilocal. This restaurant had solid reviews, so we gave it a try. It’s in one of the many shopping strips in Woodbridge that all look exactly the same. When you walk in, you almost forget that detail. We were there incredibly early for a dinner service, so we were the only ones there most of the time. We ordered chicken vindaloo and vegetable korma with naan. I was scared about how spicy the food would be, so we only chose medium spice. The food was delicious, but I think I could’ve stepped up the spicy a notch, so next time I’ll have to request that. The sauces were so delicious that I had to sop up any remaining bits left with my naan. The servers were polite, and the owner came by to check on how things were going. For desert we had milk dumplings in honey(I don’t remember the actual name of the dish). Don’t immediately dive in because you WILL burn yourself. After cutting the dumplings with our spoons and waiting a bit, the dumpling is incredibly sweet. The balls aren’t very big, but the desert is so sweet that I might not have been able to handle more than that. I would’ve enjoyed mine with tea on the side, in hindsight. I think they earned their solid ratings on Unilocal, and I’m glad I looked them up because I enjoyed my meal.

Vegan heaven. They treat us especially nice and take good care of us and gives great suggestions and let’s us know if there are any vegan specials not included in menu. Like this mango sorbet type drink and a rice pudding. We always come back bc it’s great food and great personal service :-) thank you Ps. Woodbridge is not a good place for vegans. Not much options. This is such a great place to have for us
