How have I waiting so long to go to this place??? Everything about this lunch spot is awesome. The café specializes in soups, salads, and sandwiches. Definitely go for their«pick two» option, to try more food at once. They will halve the soup and salad portions for this option, but will always give you a full sandwich. I got the tomato basil soup and the grilled cheese sandwich, and the two went together perfectly! You can opt for additional stir ins for the soups, such as shaved Parmesan cheese. The signs in front of the counter give suggestions for which additions go best with which soups. Definitely try their signature beverages — they’re delicious without being too sweet. The atmosphere here is very clean and organized. There’s even a charging station up front. I’m making this a regular lunch place for me!

This place is new and pretty sweet. You can get soup, salad, and/or a sammich here. They have these«pick 2» deals where you can choose two of those three options. I got a vegetarian sammich and it was pretty good. As it is new the lines here are pretty long, but Zupas does a good job of keeping the lines moving. Lots of airy space here, big windows and such make for a nice lunchtime experience. I liked the place.

Decided to check out this new place and was very impressed with the salad options. I ate every bite of one i created. I also had some soup. I found the veggie soup good but waaaay too salty. The tomato basil I have had better – and I decided on the mushroom soup. It was good but again — i have a place I go to all the time that has the best so it was hard to not compare. I like that they give you a chocolate covered strawberry with your meal. Yummm. I will go back here again. You can expect about 10.00 per head.

I got a gift card a while ago and thought I better use this thing before it expires.(The gift card states it expires after 1 year unless it is against the law to do so… then they just charge a $ 2.00 non-use fee). Apparently I was missing something, because at least 2⁄3rd of Woodbury was there when I arrived! The line moved fast and there were menus available to review before getting to the front of the line. I appreciated this as there was A LOT to choose from and I need a minute to make a decision. I got the Grilled Pork Cuban sandwich with a half salad of kale and quinoa. Everything was made right in front of me. Super fresh ingredients. As I went down the line, I also wished I could order about 4 more meals. The combo(whole sandwich, half salad) was $ 8.49. You will also receive a small piece of bread and a chocolate strawberry. Yum. I was really impressed. All the soups looked fantastic. There are a ton of different sauces and toppings that can be added. I would be happy to bring a group here. Everyone can really get what they want. I will be back!

Couldn’t have been better. Fast, inexpensive, clean. And a fantastic sandwich. Fresh, flavorful. I’ll be back a thousand times.

The food at Zupas is great. The only complaint is that the dining area is always uncomfortably cold.

I came here on a whim since I felt I was getting sick and could go for some soup to-go and this place hit the spot! Great prices and even better quality food and so much to choose from and they even treat you with a chocolate covered strawberry when you choose the«get two choices» from the menu. Will definitely be coming more often!

Go. Just go. And then write and thank me later. If you’ve got taste buds, for the love of God go. Café Zupas should be on every corner. We waited in the lunch crowd line to the door, and it was worth every minute. For $ 8.79 you can pick two: a sandwich, half salad, or half soup. You just cannot go wrong. We got the Tomato Basil with Orzo pasta soup(maybe the best soup I’ve ever had), the Honey Cilantro Carnitas sandwich(very clever spices and fresh ingredient combo), the Chicken Enchilada Chili(sooooo flavorful and creamy and delicious) and the Cuban(bursting with savory, meaty goodness). Everything was amazing & you get a free chocolate dipped strawberry with anything you order! I tried a sample of the Wisconsin Cauliflower soup & will definitely be getting it next time. I should have gotten the salad! They make it fresh in front of you and I’ve never seen such fresh ingredients! I can’t wait to try one. They have some brilliant combinations. They even have a «recharge bar» with touch screens to watch on a lunch break & charging stations. This was only my first visit(my fiancé’s second) and we just have nothing bad to say. GO. GO. GO!

I had heard good things from relatives in other states regarding zupas… so I was thrilled to see their new store in Woodbury. The first few times I went in was because of a coupon.(great values) I keep returning because the food is very good. To date I have had the vegetable quinoa, the red pepper and lobster, the garden chowder and the lobster bisque. All of them very tasty. especially likes the take 2 combo and I have found the sandwiches to be very good. This is not just a copycat of Panera. I like the sandwiches better and their soups are great. I wish they had a wild rice(come on, this is Minnesota) soup and I wish they hadn’t run out of the chicken gumbo when I came in to try it. Other than that it is a very enjoyable restaurant that I will continue to enjoy.

I like panera but it can get old sometimes so I tried this place out. I love their large variety and how they definitely made a point to be different from panera. There’s a large area for seating and it feels wide open and always bright… a little too bright at night I think. I tried the lobster bisque and crab avocado sandwich combo. It was only about $ 8 which I think was more than reasanable, and it was quite delicious! Honestly almost everything sounded really good to me and it was hard to decide what to try this first time there. The staff on top of everything was incredibly nice and I know it’s just what they are probably trained to do but they seemed genuine and happy which goes a long way for me. I most definitely will be going back.

Got a coupon in the mail today, 10/31/2015, for 50% off. The only problem is the coupon was only valid for 10÷15÷2015−10÷17÷2015. Called the store and asked the manager if they would still honor the coupon since the delivery date was later than the valid dates. The answer was, surprisingly, «No». My initial response was«Really?» After thinking it over a while my response was«This place won’t be here long(and shouldn’t be!)»

I am not a big fan of urban sprawl, and was not pleased to see yet another parking lot with box stores go up in Woodbury, but I stopped there yesterday on my way into work to grab a quick sandwich and I was completely pleased with the place. I have to take my wife there! I love the decoration with the rough cut wood up on the ceilings above the counter. The staff behind the counter was very friendly, helpful, and energetic. I just got a California turkey sandwich with a half garden salad to go. But the guy with the soup encouraged me to try a sample, and I tried the lobster bisque. I’m sure that it is terrible for you, but it tasted awesome! When I got to work, I opened up my box and found the salad very fresh, tasty, and fun. The sandwich was great as well. I love Jimmy John’s, but I’m so glad I tried this new place! I will definitely be back with my family!

A nice alternative to Panera. Extensive selection of soups, salads and sandwiches. I went with the Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich and the Tomato Basil soup. Both were very good. Probably try a different sandwich just to mix it up. This place is brand new so I wouldn’t put too much thought is others«too many cooks in the kitchen» comments. There will be hiccups it’s bound to happen. I’ll be back.

Not sure I’ll be back. It was just so mediocre. I had the wild mushroom soup and that was good but not great — the ultimate grilled cheese should be called the mediocre grilled cheese. The biggest disappointment was the crème brule — it was a flavorless custard topped with your choice of syrup. Yuck. The word crème brule means burnt cream in french. Where’s the burnt sugar topping? Too much work for Zupas apparently. The«free» chocolate dipped strawberry tasted like a strawberry dipped in brown wax. Just save you money and go to Panera or Punch in Woodbury.

If you’re looking for soup, sandwiches or salads, take your money to Panera. The food was mediocre. There were«too many cooks in the kitchen» so to speak. The ordering process was so complicated that the workers there had no clue what was going on. There was 3 strips of chicken in my Chicken Enchilada Chili. The bacon on my sandwich was not cooked thoroughly. Thank goodness for 50% off coupon because I would NOT spend full price for this restaurant. I hope they can get their act together because Minnesotan’s LOVE food. And with places like Tamarack Tap Room right across the street, they will have their work cut out for them.

Being the first in MN, and a fancy looking one too, was excited to try this new food joint in Woodbury. Sampled most soup varieties and ordered two to go with a slice of mousse cake. Chicken enchilada soup was broth based, tasted good as a sample, but having a cup of it was too salty and lost the good flavor I tasted when it was just a spoonful. There was hardly any chicken in it!! Tomato basil was good, creamy & slightly sweet, but nothing spectacular. The chocolate mousse was quite bad. More Mushy than creamy as I was expecting it to be. The complimentary chocolate dipped strawberry was fine. Overall was an average first experience. Yet to try the salad and sandwiches so won’t conclude anything now. Will go for a sit down meal and then update my review. Till then, do visit and sample few soup options and try their food. We should support our neighborhood businesses!

The ability to make an informed decision about your order is better than Panera, because of a descriptive menu board. Food is fresh, light and tasteful. However the bread and chicken fell short. The bread and seasoned chicken at Panera are better. Prices are reasonable and comparable to Panera.
