Catch-A-Tan

This is by far my favorite tanning place. I have tried other salons, but I always end up back at Catch A Tan. There is always a coupon you can use towards tanning packages, your tans never expire (you can use them 3 years from now), and it is a very easy tanning system. You also dont have to commit to monthly tanning fees, which is nice if you just want to go a couple of times. They also have a nice selection of tanning beds to choose from.

I’ve been going here for a few months now and really think it’s one of the better tanning establishments I have been to. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy. I’ve used the high pressure and medium pressure beds and they are great quality. Every staff member I have had interactions with has been so helpful and friendly. I’m hoping that means management took the previous review to heart and made some changes.
As for the time concerns, I know during the busy season tanning places can get backed up. So to try to accommodate tanners, they do post signs asking you to use the powder area to put on your makeup post tan (maybe another improvement because of the previous review?). The area is well stocked with wipes and good counter space to spread your arsenal of makeup out on.
The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because the prices are a little higher than I am used to paying. That definitely won’t stop me from coming (they have monthly deals that I’ll just have to keep an eye on and stock up on tans when the price is right).

Yesterday I had the worst experience at catch-​A-​tan.
Like most women it takes me a little bit of time in the tanning room.
2min to apply lotion, get undressed, tan for 12min, then get dressed and slap on some makeup.
Right when I got there she said there would be a short wait for the medium pressure bed… no problem I sat down and another women walked in and said the same thing about the wait for the medium pressure bed. After a few minutes she told the women after me to go into bed 3(a medium pressure bed.) I was a little ticked that even if I got their first. She got to go into her room first. no big deal I patiently waited a few more minutes for my turn. after greasing up, tanning, I got dressed. while getting dressed the lady knocked on my door and asked if I had fallen asleep, I replyed no. and that I was still getting ready. 3minafter that I was done getting ready and right when I was going to open the door she knocked again. «HONEY ARE YOU ALMOST DONE, THERE ARE PEOPLE WAITING.» Are you kidding me. I am going to no transfer the rest of my credits to the Oakdale Catch a tan, where I like the beds less, but, the people that work there are a HECK of a lot nicer.
