Excellent egg rolls at this establishment. Entrees we had were the Singapore Noodles classic style and Chicken Shiitake Mushrooms. Both dishes were tasty and rather large portions. The people who run this restaurant are very kind and nice to all the patrons. We will come back again soon.

The spring rolls are great. Everything else I’ve tried has not impressed me. Hardly any meat in the pad Thai or the pineapple and pork. Phở broth had no flavor. Owner seems nice but not worth the money or the calories.

We ordered takeout from the counter. Staff was very friendly and very quick. The food we received was hot and well flavored. We ordered the Pad Thai and a side of egg rolls. The egg rolls are some of the best I have had.

We ordered takeout and were super happy with the food. In the land of chains(Woodbury) this place stands out. We ordered the steak phở, cream cheese wontons, spring rolls, and chicken pad thai. All were really great! Good flavor and good spice level. And the phở wasn’t fatty at all. The restaurant looked really clean, too.

When we informed the owner, short older asian man, that they had given us a wrong order, he began to yell(with several people present) saying he can’t change the order and insisted thats what we ordered. He has quite a temper, so don’t you dare have any complaints. He ignored us for the rest of our te there. Food was okay. I am not ever going back.

Thanh Truc has become a weekly visit for us. The fried rice is excellent and we really love the Hot and Spicy Shrimp. The service is efficient and takes good care of us as customers.

I have to Say i don’t hand out fives easily but they very well deserve it. I started out with the flank phở and it was amazing, Best I’ve had in years. Well done I’ve been looking for a place that had good phở and now I don’t have to look any longer. I also asked for a special order of fried rice. I’m a finicky girl I like my fried rice with chicken, beans sprouts and Peapods and spicy number 10. And I got my fried rice exactly how I ordered it absolutely delicious. And those lemon grass chicken wings I won’t even touch those because they stand out on their own. I had a sesame chicken for my entrée different technique but definitely worth the extra containers delicious! I will be back for more for sure. And I’ve already told plenty of people about them. And let me tell you about the price the best part of it all 24 bucks for everything. Happy customer here think I’ll be going in tomorrow night as matter-of-fact got to try some new stuff on the menu. I’ll be going in for the pad Thai next.

One star only because we don’t really know what the food is like. We went for lunch. Unilocal says it opens at 11 for lunch. We showed up at 2:30 to find they were closed for a few hours between lunch and dinner. The hours of operation are not correctly reflected on Unilocal :(. Guess we will have to try them another time.

#1: Fantastic rice paper crispy egg rolls! The best I’ve ever had! Great for gluten freedom! I typically don’t use so many exclamation points — that’s how much I appreciate their gf crispy egg rolls. #2: Reasonably priced variety of lunch specials. I especially love the Trio Delight, but that’s up to personal taste. #3: You can request spiciness levels from 1 – 10, and they WILL make it super hot if you request 8 and up — not always typical in suburban restaurants. #4: Very professional, friendly service. It’s always the same lady when we go for lunch, so she must be an owner. #5: It’s way in the back of one of those confusing, twisty-turny, suburban outdoor mall things. Just keep driving toward the back. I’ve learned to drive in the back entrance, and then it’s right there! Friendly, nice ambiance, quality food, great gf choices. A superb option.

Thanh Truc is pretty amazing! It’s VERY clean, warm and welcoming feeling. Service was super friendly! I ordered the steak and flank phở, and the cream cheese wontons based on reviews I saw here. The cream cheese wontons are indeed, delicious! However, they’re fairly large and, it turns out, an order is for six wontons($ 4.75). I guess I didn’t pay attention to the size of the order. Oops! Six wontons were about 4 too many for me, but details, right? I am a sauce lover and totally enjoyed the dipping sauce that came with them. The phở was flavorful, delicious and cheap at only $ 7.50. I’m really new to the magic that is phở, but I’ve quickly learned that it’s cheap almost everywhere. I was sad to see something super fatty floating around in my bowl and started picking it out. The lady working saw me doing this and came over to chat about it. Apparently the flank is super fatty and she gave me advice on what not to get if I didn’t like the fatty, tough meat. I had issues with something fatty floating in my phở before, so I was happy to learn what to avoid. I can’t say enough nice things about the service. It was fast, friendly and very welcoming. I will totally return to try all the other yummy looking dishes on the menu!

The food was pretty good. We were surprised that even our 3 year old enjoyed it and wants to come back. The owners were so nice to him. They even let him peek in the kitchen. Very friendly. And their tofu is awesome. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Having recently relocating to MN, it is quite nice to venture out and try the non-chain restaurants in the area, which somewhat reminds me of SF and Midtown Sacramento. During my friend-lunch-date, I had already pre-scanned the menu and was feeling a bit nostalgic when I thought of the Friday lunches that I had with my Clique-friend in Sacramento, which was often trying various restaurants serving Phở. So that’s what I ordered, Phở with the thin slices of round steak beef. Of course I kicked up my bowl of soup with the garnishments of Jalapeño and Sriracha sauce. My friend ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp, which reminded her of her fave restaurant in San Diego –so I guess we were both reminiscing about our days in CA. I was able to taste her dish that was a bit different from what I am used to since the shrimp had some batter –and was definitely good. The service was great with their allowing us to continue our conversation since we were playing catch up from the holidays. I look forward to visiting this local Vietnamese restaurant and trying other dishes, but I am sure that I will probably settle for some comforting Phở.

I’m used to eating at Vietnamese places in Frogtown. Ethnic restaurants in the suburbs are often a little watered down, and I’m afraid that’s the case here. I’ve eaten here from time to time over several years. The food is always fine, but not exceptional. Today my husband and I shared a plate of pad thai and a combination noodle salad. The combination salad is a confusing item on the menu, which refers to items C1, C2, and C3 that aren’t really defined. Even after asking the proprietor for clarification, I thought I was getting a salad with chicken, pork, shrimp, and some egg roll slices. But when it showed up at the table, there were no egg rolls on it. The salad ingredients were really fresh but it was a little bland, lacking the variety of herbs I expected. The pad thai was overwhelmingly beefy and lacking that distinctive pad thai flavor. We also ordered fresh spring rolls, which were the best part of the meal. Service is friendly, and the décor is pleasant. I would eat here again when I’m in the area – making sure to order the beef salad noodles and chicken or shrimp pad thai – but probably wouldn’t make a special trip to come here.
