White Castle

I am NOT a fan of fast food, but my nana took me to this place to get sliders. I bit into one and all the sudden I found myself saying «Oh my God! This is so good!» And we don’t live near a White Castle but my nana does so whenever we bust we come to this White Castle and we love it every time! WHITE CASTLE!!! We even buy frozen ones from the market they are so good!

I get sliders on my twice yearly trip back to the Midwest from the Rocky Mountains, no sliders out there. These were by far the best of the Missouri/​Ohio/​Michigan trial this year; hot, steaming, perfectly stacked, soft steamed buns … Nice friendly, quick service too.

We were so excited to hear that White Castle is finally offering veggie sliders! Before I stopped eating things things with toes I would visit fairly often. Now there is a way to indulge again. The veggie slider is 99 cents, so about double the price of an original White Castle, and features a Dr. Praeger’s patty on a standard slider bun. You are offered a choice of original style or Sweet Thai, Honey Mustard, or Ranch sauces. This is a hard core veggie burger patty, thicker than their beef square, full of recognizable vegetables like peas and lima beans. The patty and bun are cooked on the grill so are delicious! Unfortunately the original is just a plain patty on a bun and is quite dry. We dipped them in ranch and the experience was much improved. Next time I will ask for onions and mustard so it actually tastes like a White Castle.
The White Castle website says that the grill is cleaned before preparation and they use a special green dedicated spatula. The bun was crispy and golden brown like it was pan fried in a little oil, so maybe there was some residual grease? If you are a strict vegetarian you should ask some questions before you order. This is just for a limited time but I hope they are a permanent addition to the menu! #mycrave

Always fast, and hott! Family comes down from upper peninsula and this is a first stop for them!

You advertise chicken Italiano on the board and the marque. Yet you claim to not have it?

I loved this White Castle and would go here throughout the year. I mean you defiantly wait awhile to get your food but everything is made fresh and right off the grill so it’s worth it.

I’ve been going here regularly for several years, and I’ve never really had any problems at all. The wait can sometimes be long but normal for White Castle standards. It’s in a great location. You don’t have to order through a bulletproof window, and the lobby is open ²⁴⁄₇. This place never closes. The lobby is always warm and clean enough, and you don’t need to be buzzed in to use the restroom. Only once did they forget something in my order (two sandwiches), but I guess it’s my fault for not checking my bag before I left.
