Fratelli’s New York Pizza

I was craving pizza late night and found this gem online. We live right across the street and never knew about them. Thanks to Unilocal; I sent my husband on his way. When he returned, he brought an amazing mushroom pizza with tea most delicious garlic rolls ever!!! Yes it’s not, NY Pizza BUT closest LA will get. I was ordering ameci’s all the time and I can officially say I’m a convert to fratelis!

This place won’t win any beauty awards, but it does make award wining pizza and pastas. I had a meeting and wanted to grab something to eat beforehand and just happened to walk in. Apparently the place was closed however the owner unlocked the door and was expecting a delivery when I happened to walk in. I think we both felt a little awkward by the situation, but he was kind and made me a ravioli plate with garlic bread. The food was very good and paired well with the Italian red crème soda. A good go to place for pastas and pizza.

This pizza place has very good pizza. The staff is very courteous… this was my first time eating here and my family and I enjoyed

Customer service over the phone & the delivery guy (Sam) was phenomenal, very chill & beyond helpful.
Pizza was bomb too! Always fresh & usually ahead of time. I recommend trying it out & see for yourself.

Excellent Pizza. Thin crust. When I ordered, I asked for it in a box, intending to eat half of the Pizza, and take the rest home. Once I sat down, I ate an entire medium pizza. So good. I love that the establishment is small, with only a few tables, not some fancy place with waiters, etc. This is how you do Pizza. Can’t wait to go back.

Omg !!! This pizza is the bomb !!! It has the perfect amount of tomato sauce and the crust is just perfect !!! Thank u for such a awesome cheese pizza ! Will be back for sure

So I’ve ordered from here about 3 times and I’ve always ordered the same thing; a calzone with no ricotta add pepperoni and sausage with a side of ranch. Today I forgot to ask for ranch when I was placing my order and I remembered when the delivery guy got to my house. I was totally bummed out because they have great ranch. So I open the box and BAM ranch right inside! It made my day (im a simple man). Thanks Fratellie’s! Not to mention their food is great.

Our pizza was that we ordered was Hot and a yummy thin crust just like NY. Thanks guys!

Very good pizza, made by true New Yorkers. I love that it’s local and handmade.
I’m trying pizza in my area to find «the one», and liked this one because the toppings were thinly sliced, (we tried the meat only, no veggies this time), and weren’t that big chain quality and texture. These were the real deal.
Crust was nice, thin-​ish, had great texture and taste. (Not too bready like some I’ve tried around town.) It’s not the traditional hand tossed NY pizza, they sheet and dock it before topping it. They also use a conveyor style pizza oven which makes a different kind of pie than the commercial stone based oven with the door. (Blodgett style :))
Sauce was a teeny bit sweet, but at just the right proportion for the pie.
All in all, YES. Try this place! Even though it’s not the holy grail for me, a former EastCoaster, I know we’ll be back for more-​SoCal has a tough time getting pizza to be «real» pizza, you know? ;)
TIPS: Plenty of free parking, turn in when you see Cables restaurant.
Also, lots of great shoppes in that same shopping center to check out while you wait.
Open late and YES, they do deliver if you’re local.

Fratelli’s has good, greasy Italian food that anyone would enjoy if that’s what you’re craving. Its rich and delicious and will make you gain about 5 lbs. Go home, and pig out. It’ll really hit the spot! Order anything, it’s all good.

Got the ravioli Alfredo & chicken parm and it was everything we wanted and more. The garlic bread was absolutely delicious.

Worked with Daren to get food for our party. He was very helpful. More importantly the cheese pizza was the best. Ordered the pizzas for the party and hope to share this tasty food with family and friends.

Good service. There’s just something about either the sauce or the cheese that has a sweet aftertaste to me that I’ve tried to get accustomed to many times but I can’t. My friend really likes it though and I think this is the main place around here where people order delivery from, so it must just be me!

We were on our way to visit some friends who recently had a baby and wanted to pick up some pizza on the way since we knew they wouldn’t be able to leave the house. I ordered online and was able to pick it up within 35 minutes which ended up being perfect timing. Two large pizzas were enough to feed 5 adults. We ordered the Fratelli pizza which had Pepperoni, Sausage, Meatballs, Mushrooms, Onions, Black Olives, Bell Peppers and Pepperoncini. I thought it was good but I had to remove some of the onions because they were overpowering the pizza a bit. We also made our own with pineapples and pepperoni. My friends really liked it do and since they live so close, they’ll definitely be ordering delivery/​pick up in the future!

I was on the go and wanted a New York style cheese pizza. This place happened to be close, open (it was 10pm’ish), and offered a $ 10.99 large cheese pizza pick up special promo coupon. I figure I take advantage.
I’m a huge pizza buff so a five is def nowhere near in sight. I read the dough was to rant and rave about, it is pretty good but I’m not a fan of the cheese, or amount they used.
It just seemed thinned out and def didn’t offer what I was looking for in that department at first. But I noticed the amazing sauce and how thick it Kssss then I realized it was a terrific balance of cheese and chunky sauce and not watered down canned sauce with an over abundance of cheese, hence the 4 star.
The people, place and environment are great. The staff was kind on the phone and in person.

Went here with the kids after Glowzone. I don’t really like pizza but this one has a different taste. Crust was thin and perfectly cooked. Their pizza sauce has this hint of sweetness, plenty of cheese and melted really good. Love it!!! People are very accommodating and nice!

A little hole in the wall place with some solid flavor. I’ve been here a few times and not been disappointed. It might be a 3* kinda place especially if you count décor, but I give it an extra for the owner (i think) being there and always being up to chat and make suggestions.
Not exactly NY of course given LA water, but really close. Def NY styling.

My new favorite pizza spot out here! Kinda pricey but I usually order an extra large for just the 2 of us because I always want more the next day :)

Very mediocre experience. I had a taste for pizza and stopped in for lunch. They didn’t have ANY lunch specials, which I thought was weird. I ended up getting wings and salad, instead of pizza. Wings were kinda soggy, and the salad was just a salad, as expected.
However, the manager is cool and gave me extra wings sauce for no charge. I guess that’s something. Not sure if I’d ever go back.
