We ordered the supreme pizza. My better half saw some Unilocal thing that was $ 10 for $ 15 worth so it made sense. They charged me $ 3 something when we got there so a large pizza it’s not bad. The pizza was okay. I say this cause there’s no grease so that makes it healthy and whatever is healthy means usually it tastes less flavorful. Good parking lot and friendly staff. So it’s easy to get there and park. All in all you know I know my places and this isn’t Mulberry St but it also feels like it is much healthier.

This place is great! First of all they are super friendly and make you feel very welcome. Their food is consistently good. I went here for lunch the other day and got the Antipasto Salad with a slice of Veggie pizza and it was delicious. Plus my server was so sweet and friendly, she made my day. I highly recommend this place!

First time ordering and was very satisfied from both the food and customer service. I’m glad my best friend suggested this place for lunch. I called in my order and spoke to Kim who was really nice on the phone and in person. I ordered the Jalapeño Chicken Penne pasta and it was delicious, highly recommended. Kim was true to her word when she said 15 mins for pickup and even threw in extra garlic rolls that were just fresh out the oven, loved them. I will definitely be a repeat customer and bringing my family and friends next time.

Great local spot. We ordered the mushroom fettuccini, pizza and garlic bread rolls. All three were great. Not your fine dining — more of a take out. The people are friendly and attentive. If you live in woodland hills or surrounding cities you should try this place.

Wow! MUYTERIBLE! I was craving pizza for weeks so I checked my trusty Unilocal for some good local options. I found Zanos and the reviews were good so I decided to check it out. I bought the Unilocal deal($ 15 for $ 10) AND used their check –in offer for a FREE drink! So off to a good start. The staff was friendly and offered me a complimentary single garlic roll. The roll was freshly made but not great. It was bland and dense. Then my Medium pizza with basil, sausage, salami, and mushrooms arrived! Woo hoo! Then I took a bit of it… no woo hoo. No woo hoo. It was seriously one of the worst pizzas ive ever had: — bland toppings — bland crust — bland sauce — bland cheese — OVERLYDENSE and SOGGY crust — sitting in a pool of water This was like worse than Dominos! The whole thing had no taste. None! I even tried to slather on a bunch of their parmesan cheese to add flavor. Did not work. First thing they need to do is come up with a lighter, fluffier crust, and add a little salt for flavor. Because this super dense dough just soaks up all the bland sauce, but for some reason did not prevent that pool of liquid from dripping down to the pan. Then they need to buy high quality fresh toppings. Italian sausage and salami should not have zero taste. Then they need to pre-sauté their mushrooms in order to get rid of the water so it doesnt form a pool of water that my dog can swim in on the pizza pan. Then I will come back. Despite being totally disappointed with the pizza, i still took my leftovers home. Then I took the toppings off and put them aside. I scraped off about a ¼″ of soggy dense dough. Then put my own marinara on top, put the toppings back, sprinkled some quality cheese on top and put it into my toaster oven. I crisped up the crust and made sure the toppings were nice and broiled(because they were still pale from being undercooked). Then the pizza was actually palatable… about par with Dominos. Sorry Zanos. I didnt mean to be so harsh… Im just trying to keep it real.

As a person that has eaten at Zanos many times over the past ten years I am sad to report how disappointed I am in the food the last two times we ordered from here. Tonights meal made me write this review. My husband ordered Garlic Broccoli Rigatoni. Price was 10.50, we asked to add shrimp and total came to 16.10. there were 4 shrimp in the meal. The pasta was overcooked, way too oily and there was no taste of garlic. The broccoli was all tiny mushy pieces. It was just nasty. I am sorry Zanos. But this was by no means worth our money. I am usually one to write positive experiences of restaurants and I am a supporter of local businesses and have been a loyal customer for years. But tonight was very disappointing.

So I’ve ordered food from here twice. And each time I was satisfied. Unfortunately today I have to say that I am disappointed. I received half of the portion of baked penne that I am used to getting, the garlic knots are hard as rocks and the croutons on my salad are burnt! The best thing about my meal is my beverage. I gave them 4 stars because I’m assuming that the cook is having a bad day. Hopefully the next time he will be doing better.

I thought I’d give this place another shot after I had their pizza at my friends place a few weeks ago. I had a bad experience about 5 or so years ago(maybe even longer), but I heard the previous owner had sold it quite a while back. Long story short, I called to place an order while with my friends at the pool of my apartment complex. It was a long day so and we were all drinking, so I thought it would be best to place an order for delivery. The lady on the other end informed me that I missed the delivery cut-off by about 10 minutes, but I was welcome to pick up the order. I explained that ordinarily would, but my friends and I had all been drinking all day and it wouldn’t be possible to drive. She was extremely sweet, said she’d make an exception, and took our order and delivered it. Now that’s customer service at it’s best! Not only was that above and beyond the normal call of duty, the food was delivered hot, fresh and was delicious. They now have a customer for life… and I’ve been telling everyone about how great their customer service was. I hope they get tons of referrals from me and I wish them much success…

We WERE loyal customers until their pettiness overcame their priorities – their customers(especially when we were beginning to eat there once a week, sometimes two). It was the last straw the last time we were there when the owner(sweet lady, aside from this incident) told my boyfriend that she would have to charge us extra the next time for the peperoncinis that I added to my salad. No big deal if the previous two times didn’t involve them only giving us half of our pick-up order(we didn’t realize till we got home since we had faith in them to give us our complete order) and not customizing our order as we requested. On top of that, the latter involved a longer than usual wait time for delivery(over an hour)! Neither of the times, did they even offer to compensate for their mistakes. So, for them informing my boyfriend that we’re going to be charged 50 cents(or whatever) «the next time»(implying that they’re being generous?) just did it after what we put up the two times before. Haven’t been back since – almost a year ago. And definitely not going back! Goes to show that even if food is pretty good, that will only take a place so far… Service is king!

Picked up a pizza. They were so nice but I think they needed to bake it longer, the dough was too soft! Sad, It’s right next to our home, so I really wanted to like it. They did offer to give me another to make up for it so update to come!

Easy online ordering for the office and free delivery is always a plus for me. Delivery was prompt and prices were reasonable. Lots of menu options. Pizza was fine. I ordered a few of the chicken options and didn’t love the BBQ or the garlic chicken pizzas. The margherita was good. The garlic rolls were good, as was the bruschetta. Salads were good. Easy experience, ok food. Would give them another shot for convenience and try some other pizzas.

This is a great local pizza place. I love the service and the pizza. I had order twice already and I always get the pizza I want and the delivery is always before the time they promise you. Try it you’ll like it.

Gone here a couple of times and it’s fine pizza, nothing spectacular. Most memorable was the staff was really friendly. It’s a family owned place and they greet you like you’re a traveler coming in from the blistery cold seeking shelter. Really appreciate how helpful and customer focused they are. The pizza itself is just OK. We’ve had a few pizzas from here and nothing was memorable. We could name a handful of better pizza places in the valley. They told me I’m in their delivery zone but I’ve seen I’m just outside. Regardless, I’ve picked up and it’s a bit of a challenge south of Ventura Blvd. Garlic rolls are good but that’s minor. So I can see going here again but not driving out of the way to get there.

My friends and I were hungry after swimming so we were craving pizza. After querying Unilocal,we decided to come here to pick up two medium pies: dijon chicken and the red devil. Each medium pizza contains 8 slices. The dijon chicken is off-the-menu. It contains dijon, chicken, onions, mushrooms, and capers. It was pretty unique and it was tasty. The red devil was loaded with pepperonis, jalapenos, bacon, mushroom, and onions. It had a nice, spicy kick and it was pretty good as well. The crust on both pizzas were pretty tasteless. Together, the two medium pizzas cost around $ 30. While the pizzas were delicious and filling, they certainly weren’t worth the price, in my opinion.

Zanos has decent lunch specials with tasty pizza. The biggest con with this place is the parking. it is a very small plaza they get very very crowded during lunch and it is extremely hard to find a parking space. We tried to call ahead and place order so that we can just pick it up. so that’s just a suggestion if you want to try this place out

Unassuming little Italian restaurant in a small strip of shops. Blink, and you’ll miss it. This was my second time eating here since visiting in October 2014, and I can’t believe I didn’t review it back then. The food is wonderful. They brought out a big ball of buttered garlic bread. It was ok. Not my favorite(messy as heck), but it was tasty once we knifed into it. My entrée was Baked Penne with chicken(add’l $ 2). In hindsight, I should’ve ordered either the Chicken Penne Rosini or something a little more adventurous like Chicken Farfalle Piccata for around the same price as the Baked Penne. I also ordered a half Caesar Salad. Both the penne and salad were delicious. The owner was jovial and very friendly, as was our waitress. The food came out relatively fast and the pasta dishes piping hot. As in, steam from a nuclear power plant hot. There’s currently a check-in special for a free fountain drink, and the glasses were refilled full the entire dinner. Great little place and a hidden gem on Ventura Blvd.

Oh gosh… where do I start!!! The beau said he wanted Zano’s and I instantly cringed! They used to be so much better and more attentive to their products before delivery but they’ve slipped a few notches down for the last 1 ½ years. I’ve found much better food elsewhere, which I will mention later. Let’s discuss the food and of course I will share photos. The beau ordered Margherita pizza and a chopped salad. When we ordered the chopped salad(you know, lettuce, tomatoes, garbanzo beans, black olives, sometimes cucumbers, cheese… and very often MEAT) they asked if we wanted their dressing and we said no. Sorry but your dressing is «ok» but it’s not the best so please stop acting like its some Michelin chef quality recipe! The salad, arrives and there is NOMEAT. I’m serious I dug around in the salad and there was no meat. It’s a good thing I had olives and Salame on hand or I’d really be pissed off. The salad had VERYLITTLE garbanzo beans and CARROTS?! Shredded? Omg! I’m thinking back on it again and I’m getting pissed all over again! The other ¾ is still in the fridge waiting for me to doctor it up! The pizza… oh my… wait I know we ordered Margherita but if you think your cheese is THAT flavorful or your tomatoes are that flavorful then by all means pass on the sauce but really?! Your mozzarella is just«ok» and your tomatoes are not deep in flavor to NOT add sauce! Would it have set you back $ 100 to give us some sauce?! The pizza was dry, and flavorless. I officially dislike you Zano’s. You have made my Friday suck. Not only me but my beau as well. The beau had a horrible response to the food. He was up all night with acid reflux and went to the bathroom all night. Kept the household up all night is what he did and of course, we now have all this crap food that we feel guilty for throwing away. This officially sucks. This is the LAST time I let him order from Zano’s. I’m so pissed off right now… Fratelli’s, fresh brothers, maggianos… pizza rev and blaze are all better than this crap! Yes… I went there.
