I came alone and everything was perfect except the service. I felt really unwelcomed, and it really bothered me. The three stars are for the good food I had.

Best Persian food. I’m obsessed with the lentil rice from there. I highly recommend this food to all my friends!!! They deliver as well which is amazing!

The food is really good here. We usually like to order delivery. I recommend their ashte reshte soup and Lima bean rice. The service is great. Last time we ordered, one of the items was wrong and as soon as we called them they sent us the correct order right away with an additional item just as an apology which I thought was nice of them.

Our go-to place for Persian food in the West Valley. Flavors are soooo good, great presentation, sizable portions — and all our favorite sides. We love their chicken breast kabob. We always splurge on sides and extras, so it’s never cheap for us, but then we enjoy leftovers for the next day.

The food was excellent, I took the recommendation of others with the GHORMEHSABZI and it was very good. I also go the eggplant appetizer and again was very good. The portions were way too much with the bread and rice so like others mentioned I probably had enough food here for a few more meals.

Food was not great but they did hook it up with their portions. Each order was enough to feed a whole family so we ended up with a few meals of leftover.

I like the green beens rice with diced beef. It comes with koonideh kabob. The garden salad is also fresh with amazing dressing.

I love their lunch specials. I came here with a friend and we shared a Hummus appetizer and I got the Beef Koobedieh lunch special($ 10). It came with either a soup or salad and of course I picked the delicious soup. Huge portions, the Koobedieh was very juicy and tender. Service was good. I look forward to going to Shirin again.

The worst Kabab Koobideh I had ever had in my whole life. I think it’ll be a good ide for them to go and try their competitor’s Kabab’s every ones in a while to see where they standing at. Disappointed. That’s all I can say

Honestly, they have the best Kabob in all of the San Fernando Valley! Their gormeh sabzee is absolutely delicious and their tahdig hits the spot! Mid you are looking for fish, their white fish is absolutely amazing. On weekends they have entertainment and the people who work their make sure you are happy with your food. Great place to bring your family, a date and even eat alone. I will continue to show my patronage by coming and eating here every chance I get!

What the f**k was this shit!!! The fish was marinated like chicken, the beef must have been boiled and then seasoned with used toilet paper. And who in their right minds puts cranberries in Persian rice!!! This place doesn’t do any justice to Persian gourmet and is an embarrassment to all of the good restaurants in Los Angeles. The owners should be ashamed of themselves for serving this trash. I’m so disappointed because I willingly ate this when I could have just as easily eaten something else of value. Don’t waste your time in this shit hole. You’re better off licking the floor…

Great food! Really enjoyed my lunch. Service was very good as well. The establishment was clean. Never been to a Persian restaurant before, but I ordered the Filet Mignon. Now, Filet Mignon is a French dish, but in butcher shops it is used interchangeably with tenderloin, the most tender cut of beef you can get. What arrived was clearly not tenderloin, but what is called flap meat, a MUCH less expensive cut. It was delicious, but it bothered me that they sold it to me in a shady manner. The flavor was great and the price was a reasonable $ 16(lunch), so I wasn’t too annoyed. I’d go back despite the seeming bait-and-switch on this one dish. The we ordered multiple other dishes, including the lamb, and all were really good.

Will never order here again. Worst customer service I have experienced. Ordered koobideh kebab for 5 people. The delivery took 1 hour and when the food arrived all the kebabs were burnt. Called and spoke to the manager. He apologized and told me they will come and pick up the food and bring new order and it’s been now over an hour and still haven’t heard anything. Worst customer service. If you want quality and service go to shamshiri!

***½*(3 ½ stars) After opting out of Rafi in Glendale preferred to avoid 45min wait along with obnoxious loud crowd my American gf and I opted to return back to New Persia back to luxurious SFV Ventura Blvd to enjoy Shirin as a safe choice for Persian Food. We were promptly greeted and served. Ambience sucked. Place is suited moer for lunch than dinner. Ordered Soltani which was skewed steak along with ground beef and rice, Must o Musir, & Tadik(hardened Rice) with 2 skews total of $ 40.00 for 2 people. I specifically asked about Tadik which our server responded was fresh. Wrong… unless made right away which they don’t it’s never fresh. To my surprise it was crunchy and both stews was warm. Fresh bread alongside onion and butter was most welcomed. Must O misir was a JOKE! #1 Never serve an Iranian shallots in yogurt. Labne and shallots my friend. The entrée was warm upon receiving(gf complained hers was cold), koobideh was greasy, and skewed steaks perfect! What was a joke was pickles and carrot… really? Overall as rated. If asked if I would return… No.

A friend of mine suggested Persian for lunch. We went here. Wow it was amazing. So much food and it was all delicious. I got vegetarian sabzee over rice and their soup. The soup was the most surprising of the whole meal. It was thick but was a purée that was complimented nicely with the noodles that were also in the soup. Moral of the story, this Resturant is now worked into my rotation and will be my choice Resturant for my New Year’s Eve dinner and all of 2015!!!

I love this place! Great Persian food; always on point every time I go. My favorite is the tender chicken(might be called juicy chicken or something to that effect; I always forget). I also love their lamb shank and their tahchin! The tahchin they only offer on Tuesdays and is this crispy rice pie with yogurt and chicken and is absolute heaven! Their tahdig is really good as well. If you’re in the mood for Persian food and happen to be in the area, this is the place to go!

Been here over a dozen times! My family and I love Persian Food and although we’re always exploring new Persian restaurants in the area, this has always been one of their favorites. The usuals we order is the Beef Koobideh and Jujeh Chicken. Both are cooked to perfection! Great, huge portions as well that will keep you full. One thing I dislike is the parking. It’s a bit tight since it’s shared with another restaurant. Besides that the place offers good service and very nice ambience!
