The Habit Burger Grill

Pretty good burger. I had the Santa Barbara Char — comes w avocado, grilled onions, cheese on sourdough. Prices are very reasonable. Fast service too.

The Habit is always a good choice. Its a good place to come if you are with others, you can make your meal healthy if you like since there are a lot of selections.
There are beef, turkey or chicken burgers with your choice of sweet potato fries, regular fries or onion rings. You can also choose healthier sides of you like. There are salads, wraps and you can even get a lettuce wrapped burger if you like.
I usually get the number 2 if im not worried about the calories — A double char burger with fries and a drink.
There is plenty of parking here, and its located on Ventura blvd. You can sit outside on the patio if you want some sun and enjoy the breeze.
The service is good as well. Overall I have nothing bad to say about The Habit. Very solid.

Great salads. Yummy! Very kid friendly. Definitely come back. Kids enjoyed their food very much and my husband was super satisfied.

After my dance classes I had a massive craving for a very specific burger. I really wanted a double medium with double cheese, the works, and onion rings on top. Well it was 9:30pm and choices were limited, so instead of my go-​to spot, I decided to try this burger joint.
WOW! Let me tell you, their double cheeseburger is on point.
Location– the restaurant is located in a medium sized shopping plaza, and it’s right on the corner off of Ventura Blvd. Finding it was super easy. Ample parking, bike racks, and also there’s seating outside. Very safe location.
Customer service– as soon as I walked in I was greeted by multiple employees who genuinely looked like they wanted to be there. That’s a must for me. If you have a pissed off look and an attitude, I will never return. But not here! Everyone was so nice and helpful in explaining the different variations of how I could make my burger, and other items on the menu. A+++ for customer service.
Cost– I think the prices are very reasonable for the deliciousness your mouth is about to consume. For a full double cheeseburger combo, with fries and a drink, i believe it was close to $ 8 and some change. (I forget I’m sorry) also, they ask if you want ranch, or bbq sauce, and unlike other places where they charge per tiny packet of sauce, here I got two of ranch, bbq, and thousand islands for free!!! Who doesn’t like free!
Food– OOOOMMMMGGGGG. This had to be one of the most delicious burgers I’ve had in a loooooong time! The bun wasn’t soggy or hard, it was perfect. Kind of buttery flavored with the perfect «crisp» to it. All the veggies tasted very fresh (and I came in right before they closed). The meat, oh the meat. It was made just right! A tiny hint of pink in the middle, which I enjoy wholeheartedly. The cheese was perfect. What made this burger so amazing were the caramelized onions. HEAVEN! The fries were also perfect. I always like mine extra salty, and they delivered the perfect amount. Not over salting them, but making them just right. Not only do the have the basic soda machine, but they have a variety of iced teas which is an A++ in my book. (I don’t drink soda, and I don’t like that raspberry sugary crap «tea») they have plain black, a sweet tea, and my favorite, unsweetened passion fruit. It was so good and refreshing.
What I loved the most, is the fact that unlike other places when you get your food to-​go, and by the time you get home the fries are soggy, cold, and the burger turns into crap, here the food stayed warm and fresh. I was very pleasantly surprised.
If you want a good burger with amazing customer service, come here. Trust me, you WILL fall in love!

The Habit my favorite spot for a quick burger and fries. They have a lot of other menu items that I’ve heard great things about but I have to get a charburder combo when I am there. The burgers come on a simple sesame bun, but they toast it to perfection! I always get mine with cheese and sometimes I add bacon as well for a little more flavor and crunch! Oh and you can’t forget the grilled onions! Then I get lettuce and tomato to finish it off, I skip the pickles and mayo that come on it because I am not a fan. The fries at the habit are always crispy and piping hot! I love the ranch and bbq they have to dip the fries!
The Habit is definitely my go to spot for a burger, the service is always really fast!

Great spot for burgers, but I had the tuna filet on sourdough. The place was packed and there was no where to sit. I do like that they give you a beeper to let you know when your food is ready, rather than you waiting for the food. Overall a great spot I will definitely be going here.

I love coming here. The staff is always very pleasant and helpful. You get your food pretty quickly at this location.
I normally get the burger that comes with mushrooms (sorry I forgot what it’s called). You can’t forget the fries! Yummy!!!
Lastly, the pepper bar is the best! Unlimited jalapeños! Wooooot!

Worst service. The Latinas chicks that work here are horrible. You kindly ask them to clean your table and they give you an expression like you are asking them to climb Mount Everest. They treat Caucasians with a certain level of respect that’s extremely different from all other races. As if they feel inferior to Caucasians. Very strange feeling being in this place. What happen to good old fashion customer service. You know, the kind where everyone feels welcome to your establishment?

Courteous friendly and they’re open late what else could you ask for. The tempura green beans are beyond delicious. I’m not a salad fan but the Caesar salad here is beyond yummy. The food here is very good and inexpensive which is always a plus for me.

Woaaahhhhhh. I think I must have eaten the worlds best burger in the history of all things. Hands and feet down, The Habit is going to become an delicious habit. The burgers are so juicy and yummy, the fries so crispy and salty. The burgers are sooooooooo juicy with the crispy buns. The fries are so good just soooo crispy. Definitely coming back again for the worlds best burger.

This place is great!!! Their shakes, malts & soft serve is awesome! The service is wonderful! They are very nice and are very organized. I do wish they would charge you a teeny bit less if you wanted the cheese omitted. But otherwise everything is superb! I love the fact that they display the calories too on the ordering board.

This is a great quick fast food place.

My usual is double char with cheese lettuce wrapped with no mayo or grilled onions well done. Get fringes which is half fries and half onion rings. Onion rings are really good. Not overly battered like some expensive restaurants that try to be fancy and different. They also have sweet potato fries. Lately I’m trying to watch my meat intake so I get the seared albacore sandwich lettuce wrapped with no teriyaki and tar sauce on the side. It’s soooo good and low calorie. But not very filling.

I’ve driven by this place many times but never got the urge to check it out. I see the long lines and the delicious smelling smoke that comes out of their exhaust fan that covers the neighborhood.
So one day a friend of mine and I decided to check it out. I got the Original Double Char burger (with avocado wrapped in lettuce) combo with a drink and fries for $ 9.00. I love the hot peppers bar so for every bite of my hamburger, I had a slice of jalapeño :) :) I will definitely go here again. It does not replace In N Out Burger but it’s still good.

Great location, great service, the great Habit Burger food you’ve come to know. I always have the grilled chicken caesar, and it’s consistently good at pretty much every Habit Burger I’ve visited. The Woodland Hills location is definitely worth the visit!
TIP: Be careful in the small parking lot, it’s kinda of tight and people really zip around in there fighting over spots…

I call this fancy fast food. Quality ingredients for a decent price. We dropped by for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and the place was busy. We secured some seats out on the patio in the shade. The food was cooked to order and came out pretty quick. I had the Double Char with cheese hubby had the Tri Tip sandwich. We got onion rings and fries. They are delish with or without their ranch sauce. I didn’t have one thing to complain about. The establishment was clean, customer service was on point. There was a gal going around and checking on the patrons and clearing away plates and trays. I wanna try out their sandwiches next time.

The Original Char is my fav. I haven’t tried any other ones but it’s defiantly something you should try if you haven’t already.
Friends called me crazy that I haven’t actually ever tried this place before. But now that I have, if I ever crave fast food… I will be sure to visit this place:)
