Too expensive for frozen yogurt that isn’t all that special. You can literally buy Ben and Jerry’s from the store for cheaper than they charge. 14 $ for two small cups(not full) without toppings is ridiculous.

Love love this place! It’s a family favorite! Just wish they served coconut more often! The girls are always polite and suggest we try the new flavors. Bring back the coconut!

Love our yogurt nights at big kahuna. Lots of toppings to choose from and love the variety of warm sauces like the hard hat and warm marshmallow. Its conveniently close to our house and when we want to go for a dessert outing we go here.

Everything is delicious. Many toppings to choose from. Although there may not be many flavors, they are delicious. Plus you can’t beat the price. Other places will charge you more for a little. This place is definitely worth going to.

I come here quite often.(Even in the winter!) And I must say this place is pretty awesome. There are A LOT of toppings. The yogurt flavors change every time I walk in so there’s always variety and it always seems really clean in the shop. The girls working here are hit and miss with service. It is a self serve yogurt shop so they don’t really have to do much, but some days there’ll be a super peppy girl who makes you fell welcomed and then there will be a snobbish girl who doesn’t say much at all and just makes you feel like she hates her job. Despite that, the yogurt is awesome!

Delicious:) weather I want to be healthy and add fresh fruit to my frozen yogurt, or go junky and add candy and whip topping, they have it! And it’s always fun to try their monthly flavor. However cake batter has been my favorite hands down. :)

The other night my family and I went in for fro-yo. All of us who had the chocolate were sick that night. We were up all night with upset stomachs and the sweats. It was terrible.

This is our favorite frozen yogurt place in Woodland — my kids and I go there a few times a month and their toppings/fruit are always fresh and the it’s always clean inside. Staff is always very friendly!

The yogurt is really good and they have a huge range of toppings to choose from-they also have a loyalty card that can save you $ 5 once it’s full, which is a nice bonus. Dulce de leche is my favorite!

I was in Kahuna back during their start-up, and the proprietor was speaking with a customer while they both watched this little boy. This grubby, sneezing, snot nosed, dirty(literally) little boy put his hands into each one of the toppings bins to grab a handful of noms, and what wouldn’t fit in his mouth went back into the bin or on the floor. WHILETHEYWATCHED! Turned out the snot nosed kid belonged to the customer that was conversing with the proprietor. After the kid went through the bottom row of bins, he started on the second row, only to be finally stopped by the mother. EW! The thought of this snot nosed dirty little rug rat digging through the bin’s will forever keep me from patronizing Big Kahuna.

They have at least 2 sugar free options and plenty of toppings. I don’t go very often anymore but love it whenever I do.

Big Kahuna is your typical FroYo shop with a variety of revolving flavors depending on when you visit, decent sized selection of mix-in’s although I don’t normally use them. I will say the quality and taste seems to be better than most, silky smooth texture and flavors I tried were not too sweet and that’s a plus to me!, on the downside is the price tag at .42 Cents the highest priced FroYo I’ve ever tried. I got two flavors Yellow Cake Batter and Firecracker — Yellow Cake Batter tastes like… Duh, Yellow Cake Batter though it’s not too sweet! Firecracker is like a bang in your mouth, if you like Cinnamon? Big Red Gum? like a POW, BAM, BOOM of Cinnamon flavor in your mouth… I loved this one

Delish! They change the flavors often which is a downer for me who has favorites and doesn’t really like tart flavors. And they don’t seem to be able to estimate re-stocking of my favorites But the yogurt is good. The cost is my complaint– a little too expensive.

Pretty standard run of the mill yogurt place. Good flavors, not many cup sizes. My guess is maybe it’s to get you to fill up more(thereby weigh more and spend a bit more). Customer service is definitely there though — kudos to them! Will be back again. (+) Good Points: * Interesting flavors * Small place, cozy, nice place to hang out for a few minutes (-) Things I wish were different: * Would like to see a few more cup sizes

I guess frozen yogurt shops in mini-malls are back in style now… Lots and lots of flavors, gigantic bins of crumbled candy bits and toppings, big ketchup dispenser full of hot fudge, etc etc. Pretty cheap too, at least compared to Pink Berry. Tip: try the red velvet with hot fudge and whipped cream, it tastes like a piece of ice cream cake.

So glad that Woodland finally has a yogurt place! I am a huge fan of the variety and price! Wish they were open a bit later on week days though.

About a month ago, a rumor started permeating the air in my particular County of Yolo office. Apparently, there was a self-serve frozen yogurt shop open in Woodland. This rumor was taken very seriously, and attempts at confirmation were made through various coworkers, sadly, to no avail. Thankfully, when I ventured over to the rumored location that evening, I was pleased to discover the rumors had been true. I enjoy the minimalist interior, the Hawaiian theme is clearly going on, but it’s not overpowering to the point of annoyance. The adirondacks out front may be my favorite part of the whole shop, honestly. Sadly, I’ve not ventured much further than the cookies and cream flavor, as I’m a creature of habit, but seeing the 9 other options is fabulous… way more choices than any of the uppity Davis fro-yo establishments… the staff here also far exceeds any of those neighboring sites as well(and as a former Davis resident, I’m allowed to say that). Whoever suggested magnets on the top of the topping bins, you are my new hero. Yes, that would be helpful, especially when dodging all the socializing adults and their delightfully sugared kiddos. The next day I happily confirmed the rumors to my excited coworkers. We’ve yet to trek over there as a group yet, but I know they’ve all been in. I stick to my once a week, pre-«Big Bang Theory» trip, but it’s definately one I will be making regularly.
