So, full disclosure, I’ve never been to any other salon but, based on my great experiences, I don’t have to. Came to this place on recommendation of a family member. I’ve never made an appointment, never felt rushed and have always had a great pedicure experience each time. So far, Helen and Kim have done a great job– I always get the # 3. Jungle sc/​rub and salt scrub with leg and foot massage and great pedicure. I always feel very relaxed when here and leave happy.

Terrible service. It was done sloppy and inaccurate. Waxing is supposed to be slow and calmly and she was rushed and messed up. Terrible place, do not recommend for anyone.

I usually love going to this place however, she made me bleed 4 times. Then she didn’t even give me a discount for hurting me. She just said she shouldn’t have cut to far then later on she said she shouldn’t have gone over my nails with the brush. In addition the glue was making the acrylic nail stick to my skin. Horrible experience. Never coming back. If I can figure out how to attach pictures to my post. I will definitely show my cut up hands.

These ladies are wonderful! They all know me by name and always make me feel comfortable. Phong is also incredible! They all do an awesome job on with pedicures and the manicures! Is you have time definitely get the special pedicure — it’s absolutely fabulous! I always get compliments on how great my nails look! Would recommend Profile to everyone!

The owner is such a sweetheart. She will make very early appointments for you if you ever need to. She takes time doing my nails. She always does an awesome job!

This place has gone downhill. Fong is very friendly and speaks good English, but the place looks like a garage sale. I got a pedicure tonight and my heels are still rough. I’ll go to Savvy Nails next time.

This place has really been upgraded with new chairs and flat screen tvs. The owner, Fong, is very nice and speaks perfect English. If there is ever a mistake or a problem, she is always courteous and will fix it. I recommend this nail salon! And Starbucks is two doors down to complete your pampering experience!

Horrible service! I asked for solar nails. Was there for 2.5 hours. I had to put my hands in a box while she worked on them. After 20 times of her stopping to greet customers. I was over it. My nails look horrible and are proof as to why I’ll never go back. Who does nails like this?!

The pedicures are good (especially for $ 20), although the amount of leg/​foot massage time can really vary depending on how busy they are, which is to be expected at a walk-​in type place.
Normally I would give them 4 stars (because I am quite stingy with my 5 star ratings-​has to be something really different/​amazing) but I was very impressed with the owner. I had received a gift certificate for Pro File quite awhile ago and finally got around to using it when there was a not-​so-​great change in employees/​ownership/​service at the place I always went to get pedicures. When I brought the certificate in to Pro File, the owner told me that it was from when there was a different owner quite awhile back (they kept the same salon name), but she STILL honored the certificate. I thought that was so kind, and it definitely paid off, because Pro File is now my new regular spot for pedicures!

I love this place! I primarily get the gel manicure and pedicure and they are wonderful. They have an enormous selection of colors! I’ve tried a few other salons and they’ve had nowhere near the amount of colors Pro-​File has.
I read the review Jordan R wrote and I think there might be a misunderstanding. Fong is the only technician who does the acrylic services. If there are other technicians available and an acrylic service is requested, the client would need to wait until Fong is available.
While other salons might have multiple technicians who can complete the acrylic services, Fong has a very high standard of service and only wants the very best work for her clients! She is wonderful and very attentive as are the other technicians. The salon is often very busy so I recommend you make an appointment. You won’t be disappointment!

I have been going to Fong for pedicures and manicures for the past 25 years. Fong is very professional and is the best nail technician in all of the Sacramento area. Fong uses high end products and my nails always look amazing when she is done.
I have NEVER had any cuticle cuts, fungus etc over the entire 25 years I have seen her. Fong took over Pro– File Nails a year or so ago and the salon is very busy. If you don’t have an appointment with her, you may have to wait– so make an appointment before showing up!
Many of her employees do not know how to do acrylic or silk nails, she is the only one, trained to her liking. Her employees mostly do manicures and pedicures.
Fong also passed her State of California on-​site check a few months ago which she proudly displays near the door as you enter.

I’ve been a regular at this place for YEARS along with my mom. I started going here back in 2007 for full sets and I fell in love. Things have changed recently though.
The management has changed. The pervious owner was AWESOME, but I have talked to a few of the girls that work here and said she used to cut major corners. She was always nice to my mom and I, though.
The new owner, Fong, is a bit different. She’s very friendly, don’t get me wrong, but she’s pretty opinionated. And if you come to her once, and revisit, she will not let anyone else help you besides her.
My mom stopped coming here because of this. My mom is the kind that doesn’t really care who does her nails, just wants them done, and she came in one day and Fong was busy and asked her to come back in a hour, even though there was two other girls working that were available. Then my mom came back a few days later and Fong wasn’t working and the girls working said they couldn’t do her nails because Fong doesn’t want them to, and she would have to come back when Fong was working.
Needless to say, my mom found another shop, but I can’t bring myself to part with this place. Fong is always very nice to me and asks about my family. However, she’s not usually the one doing my nails.
And on the plus side, she has redecorated the salon and has really cleaned up to comply with sanitation policies. I definitely still visit this place, and I enjoy it, it’s just a bit different recently.

I was not impressed with this place. I asked if I could have a pink and white fill and they said they could do it. I sat down and the lady that did my nails was rushing through it like she had somewhere to be. She cut me several times with the nail file and I was bleeding on a couple of fingers and she didn’t even apologize. To top it off, she just gave me a regular fill and did not fill my white tips. It was awful! My nails looked ridiculous when I got out of there, only a tiny strip of white at the tip and the rest just plain pink. Are you kidding me? These people need to learn from the awesome salon in Lincoln, CA, Renaissance nails. You get what you pay for though, and at $ 20.00 for a fill, I should have known better.

Pro File is the only place I go for a mani/​pedi. The prices and service are great. The chairs are a little bit worn, but the equipment and tools are very clean and meet all current health standards. Instead of choosing a bottle of polish you choose a from an assortment of painted fake nails, and then they match it, which can mean you don’t always get exactly the color you are looking for. I’ve had amazing service here, all of the employees do a great job and are very friendly.

I tried this shop a few months ago for just a fill. I was very impressed with the service and the care of my nails! All of the employees are friendly and the equipment is clean and up to today’s standards. The price was the best surprise! I usually pay $ 45 for a set of pink and white tips. Pro-​File charged me $ 30. Fills are reasonable and the pedicure chairs are comfortable and I have seen them clean each of the soaking tubs thoroughly before a new customer is served.
There are many to choose from and I have tried them all… Go here!!!
