Hot sauce pizza! He makes it fresh everyday. Yes! Also onion soup I can recommend, I’m very picky about onion soup. The zeppolies are delicious.

We live in Pennsylvania and try to make this one of our regular stops when we go to Long Island. Leo and the staff are always friendly and remember us as the Pocono Ladies! As far as I’m concerned, being originally from California, Pizza Pious is the best pizza in NY(so far). They always toss in a few zeppole for us to munch on after our slices… Pizza Pious Kosher Italian… you gotta try it!!!

Not modern by any means and can use a update however the employees and owner here always have a smile and work hard to get your food quick. Prices are not horrible but as with all kosher food a bit expensive. We usually get pizza, falafel platters, French fries and zepolis. Consistent every time made quickly and zepolis always seem to are it in my order. If your looking for a place to dine out its old school pizza feel, I prefer delivery, but if you like a chewy cheesy pizza then you’ve found it.

I will be honest I don’t really dig the pizza here. However when I’ve stopped in to eat something the staff has been nice. The falafel here is actually not too bad, I didn’t know they made it until my co-worker told me about it and I ate lunch here with him one day. Every time you eat here you are given an after meal treat of something similar to a zeppole but it’s not a zeppole, the sugary sweet treat is good too. I would definitely stop in for falafel again but after sampling a few slices I wouldn’t advise the pizza. It’s a kosher joint, so if you need to eat kosher this is definitely a place you could have a meal out for sure. Last time I did here they had an ice cream freezer with ice cream that you get from the ice cream truck, I don’t know if it’s still around though.

Decent pizza and atmosphere. Not that cheap. Pizzas are extra cheesey

I grew up getting pizza from here. The taste of the pizza here is different from most other slices of pizza I’ve had. I’m guessing that’s because the pizza here is kosher? It’s not a bad kind of different at all, though. Sometimes I’ll taste pizza reminiscent of this place and it’ll fill me with comfort and nostalgia, making me miss my childhood days. I haven’t had pizza from here in years but writing this Unilocal review is making me crave it. Ahhh, I have to stop by soon.

I have found the food to be pretty good here, albeit somewhat inconsistent. After reading the other reviewer’s review I acknowledge that I have, at times, been served pizza that undercooked. But they were more than happy to throw it into the oven for me and they are always pleasant and eager to accommodate. The pizza, and all it’s variations, are really delicious. They keep the place clean, which is definitely not easy from what I’ve seen. They have a very extensive menu and the salads are always fresh & crisp. Overall, pretty good.

I’m not going to lie. This pizza is absolutely awful. The pizza is always undercooked, which is made much worse by the thick crust. Since its Kosher you’re not going to be getting meat on your pizza(and of course sausage ain’t happenin’) Veggie Pizza is the only way to go for extra toppings. Unfortunately, since the pizza is always undercooked, you wind up with a bunch of limp, wet veggies on top of a sad, soft pizza. They do have something that vaguely approximates Zeppoles, but they’re more like small square pillows with a ton of sugar. If you are desperate and you MUST have Kosher pizza(for example, ordering for an office in which you need a Kosher lunch and you just can’t get sandwiches AGAIN) but otherwise do yourself a favor and stay away from this place, especially if you do not observe Kosher dietary rules.
