I was a newbie to Bikini/​Brazilian waxes, but Megan made me so comfortable. She even offered to have me come in early to discuss my options. As a plus-​size woman, having someone see you in such an intimate way can be intimidating but Megan is so professional and put me immediately at ease. Because The Wax Bar uses hard wax, the process was not very painful. In fact, the majority of the time I felt no real pain. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I love this place! I went for the first time last week and got my brows shaped and tinted (my naturally light brows didn’t match my newly dyed black hair) and I absolutely love the results. DeLane darkened my brows just enough and they look a million times better. She’s a genius :) The tint combined with her amazing shaping skills have my brows looking so full and beautiful. I was really self conscious about my brows before I made the appointment and didnt know what to expect but the place is so comfortable and DeLane was really nice and informative. I already have an appointment for a couple weeks from now and I’m so happy I found such a great place!

What a beautiful location! The environment is super clean, super modern, and just so pretty! I see Megan, who is AMAZING! She such a sweet person and does an amazing job! I’m a plus size girl and I’ve never felt more comfortable with a waxer! I actually travel about an hour and a half to see her and it’s worth every minute of the commute and every penny! You won’t be sorry! Thanks again Megan for being so amazing at what you do!

DeLane is incredible. I was so happy while she was working on my eyebrows because I could tell that she was taking her time and doing a very detailed job. My eyebrows never look good when I go to a place where they only use wax, so when she busted out the tweezers and the scissors I breathed a sigh of relief. Then I saw the results and I was totally wowed! I went right from my appointment to get my hair done at a new place and the first thing my stylist (who had never seen me before and had no idea I had just had my brows done) said when I put my head back for the shampoo was, «oh my gosh your eyebrows are so perfect!» I won’t be letting anyone else near my brows from now on!

DeLane is awesome! Her work is impeccable, the studio is very cute and chic, and she is a lovely and kind person. I was in town for the holiday and treated my sister (and myself) to a brow shaping and tint. We looked awesome leaving the studio, and even got several unprompted compliments on our brows from strangers later that day — that’s never happened to me before, but hey, I will take it! DeLane texted us directions without us knowing to ask (very helpful) and what could have been a difficult to find location on the second floor of a retail building was actually quite straightforward. I got my sis a gift card, and she and I will be back for sure —

I’ve been going to Megan for my Brazilian and eyebrows for over a year now and I will never go to anyone else! Her bikini services are quick and virtually painless (sometimes less than fifteen minutes, depending on how long I let it go) and she makes me feel so comfortable. At first I was a little embarrassed to be exposed in that way but Megan is so easy to talk to and the conversation flows so freely that you quickly forget that you are in such an awkward situation!
As far as eyebrow waxes go, she is meticulous and her work is impeccable. I won’t trust anyone else to touch them EVER! I am a freak about my eyebrows, and I’m sure I’m a royal pain, but she is so patient and kind. If I could give Megan 100 stars I would!

Very comfortable. Very clean. Have been getting wax services with Megan for quite some time now… Not only is she a great waxer she’s a great person. I’d recommend her to anyone especially if it’s your first wax. She does a great job at keeping you relaxed with her calm and confident attitude.

This place is everything you want in a Brazilian wax. It’s impeccably clean and has the functioning convenience of scheduling appointments online. She uses the blue wax, with strip, which I think hurts much less than the wax with no strips. Also, she does legs in the air, which is far superior to any flipping over or all fours technique. Finally, she doesn’t try and sell me a bunch of expensive products that I don’t want or need. She offers packages too.

I went to the Wax Bar for my first Brazilian and leg wax, and an eyebrow wax, and had such a great experience. The salon is so cute and chic and very clean. DeLane, the owner, is the kind of person that makes you feel at home as soon as you walk into the room and made me feel extremely comfortable during all my services. She is clearly very experienced and professional. I’ve already scheduled my next appointment and am definitely becoming a regular! One tip — the salon is inside another building on Chagrin Blvd so it’s tricky to find if you don’t know where you’re going, so definitely call when you’re on your way to have DeLane explain where to go.
