We have had fabulous service since 2005! Reliable, fast, no outages and great repair service and wonderful people to work with. I used it for years with on-​line teaching and had no problems!

Skyline Broadband is simply excellent. In a rural mountainous area, they got us fast broadband when no other solution was available. For that alone I’m thankful. But beyond that their customer service is exceptional, as someone else pointed out, repairing items that weren’t even their fault at no extra charge. Five stars gladly!

If you polled members of the South Skyline Association who subscribe to this service, you would find most opinions to be very favorable. Yes, it’s run by a husband and wife team, but they try hard to provide a reliable service.
There are occasional outages for maintenance, which are announced in advance. And some outages that are upstream of the provider, about which there’s nothing that can be done.
The broadband tower is on Black Mountain, and realistically, you need to have a sightline to the tower, and have your receiver be within about 4 air miles of it, so there is that limitation.

After repeated attempts of calling and using their website to get the initial site survey in the first place, I have yet to hear back from anyone to let me know the results of that survey. Despite my repeated attempts to call them back and leave messages not single person seems to answer their phone or call people back.
I find this both very unprofessional and indicative of a company that is not capable of handling customers. In my one and only conversation with them it seems that the company is run by a husband, wife and one other assistant.

Sub par service. $ 50 per month will get you a slow connection, frequent outages and only 17GB per month. After that they charge you $ 5 per Gb. This may have been fine 5 years ago but they need to keep up with the times and improve bandwidth!
